The Viper's POV
I could barely contain my giddiness. My plan was gradually falling into place. Theo just gave me updates about what was going on. The fool caught Elena and Theo kissing and he didn't seem to take it likely.
"Hope there is no rule that prevents coworkers from having an affair?" I asked Theo through the phone. I made sure to tamper with my voice so he never recognizes me.
"Not at all, Sir. The plan is fool proof. It's just that Elena is proving much more stubborn than I thought. Since after this happened she has refused to pick my calls and went home right after."
I rolled my eyes at how bratty he sounded. He was an only son to a dirty business owner, there had to be some traits that pass through generations.
"Well, better find a way for getting things better between you both because I don't like useless allies." I had a deadly meaning to that.
"We are partners, I don't answer to you. You can't threaten me, Viper." He sounded haughty as usual, what do you expect from a kid that has had everything he ever dreamed of.
"I will only let this slide because I believe you're going and foolish but don't ever talk back to me. We wouldn't want anything to happen to your mom in the clothing store right?" A sly smile appeared on my face, no one dared to cross me.
"H….how do you know that?"
"Well I like having plan B. I knew you might be hard to handle so this is just a contingency plan. We are not partners, I call the shots and that's it." I cut the call on him.
Somehow that brat, Ryan gets everything he wants but these pests always contend with me. Anyways it's fun breaking them.
I need to cool off and celebrate at the same time. I picked my phone and called the person running my club house, Raul.
"I need a girl, right now."
"Alright Boss, that wouldn't be an issue. Roxy will be on her way now."
I cut the call and lazily scrolled through my phone. In about twenty minutes a car pulled to my driveway, I knew they were here already.
In about five minutes a knock echoed from my door.
"Come in." I answered simply.
The door was pushed open and the strong stench of cigarettes followed Raul, who had Roxy in tow. She is my favourite stripper at the club.
"Your package has been delivered safely, boss." He smiled crudely and gave me a salute. I nodded dismissing him and he walked out shutting the door after him.
Roxy threw me a seductive smile and sashayed towards me, his hips moving from side to side. She had a robe on and quickly pulled it off and had a revealing two piece underneath.
"You really did miss me after our last session." She said finally teaching to my chair and seating on my lap.
I held her to myself and my hands roamed all over her skin, she was exactly what I needed to celebrate this big win.
"Don't flatter yourself, You're not that special. I needed you for relief and that's just it."
"Whatever you say." She smiled at me and began to dance seductively, grinding her body to mine. I was getting out of control when a knock echoed from the door.
"Are you insane? Don't you know to leave me alone?" I growled at whoever was stupid enough to be at the door.
"You have an important visitor, Boss."
"Who is that?"
"It is Rocco."
"What does that old man want this time?" I asked myself. Immediately I heard who was there. It was like cold water was poured on me and my mood was ruined.
"Leave!" I told her and pushed her off me. She fell with a little groan and gave me a stink eye.
"Look at me like that one more time and you wouldn't like what I'd do." I told her and she quickly repaired her robe and dropped her gaze to the ground.
She ran to the door and pulled it open then rushed past them.
"Let him in." I told the guard that came with him and Rocco stepped in. He was a good looking man for his age and looked like someone who frequented the gym.
"What can I do for you? I thought our partnership had ended and we never meddle in each other's affairs."
I always hated his visit, he may look like a regular man but he is extremely dangerous. Another reason why I hated him is that he was one of the few people that knew real identity.
"I think we can help each other, I learnt that you want to bring Ryan down and most recently, Charles."
"How did you know all these?"
"The wall has ears, Viper. It was the perfect opportunity for me."
"I never thought you had any issues with Ryan."
"I don't, he stays out of my business but I want Charles to fall to his knees. I've always hated his guts but I know that, that marriage they did will make it impossible to fight one of them without the other interfering."
"So what exactly are you proposing?"
"I will help you bring Ryan down as you simultaneously help me bring Charles to his knees. The man never gives up or gets tired."
"I can do that on my own."
He first gave me a look and burst in a fit of laughter as if I said something so funny.
"You have failed woefully at it. You think I have no idea how you're busy recruiting some novices to do your dirty work. They have been really bad at it though."
I felt insulted and growled at him, he gave me a look and growled back at me. "I don't want anything in return, just Charles' legacy. I know you want Ryan's place too so it is beneficial for us both. Those minions of yours wouldn't be able to pull anything through and you know it."
I thought about it and knew that this was better than all the alliances I've made, someone with a really good reason to break those two.
"Fine, deal."
I brought out my hand and we shook it, then he stood up and headed towards the door.
"My lawyers will send the contract to yours for our partnership. I know you're as much of a snake as I am so I must be cautious too. Have a great night, Viper."
Now this is getting interesting.
