Chapter 43 - "Arrival at Earth: The Power Check"

__________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Time flew by—six months passed in the blink of an eye.

Somewhere in the northern reaches of the Milky Way, tucked away in an unremarkable little galaxy, the Solar System spun quietly at the galaxy's outer edge.

A saucer-shaped spaceship streaked across the sea of stars, cutting through the endless void like a flash of light.

After what felt like ages, the ship finally passed by the sun and slowed to a stop, hovering just beyond the atmosphere of a small blue planet.

That planet was Earth.

Inside the ship were Harry, Gine, and Celari—their long journey had finally brought them here. The three of them stood by the viewport, gazing at the blue sphere floating in space.

"We finally made it… Earth," Harry said with a faint smile.

Half a year of interstellar travel—honestly, he was about ready to grow moss.

If they hadn't had a clear goal, and if they hadn't been through months of travel before, surviving in such a cramped space for six whole months would've been unbearable.

But they didn't even bother going into stasis—Harry refused to waste a single moment.

Otherwise, this trip would've passed in the blink of an eye.

Over these six months, Harry's strength had skyrocketed again. Before leaving Planet Oyun, his power level had already broken past 2000. Now, it had reached 2500.

It was all thanks to constant, focused training—relentless cultivation of his ki.

Gine and Celari had also improved, though not quite as dramatically. Their overall power levels hadn't jumped much, but their control and refinement of ki had grown a lot sharper.

Gine: Power level 1250.Celari: Power level 980.

Compared to them, Harry's progress stood out. But he didn't let it go to his head. In truth, this level of power wasn't much—at least, not in the grand scheme of the universe.

Still, on Earth, it would make him untouchable. Even among most planets in this era, he'd be considered incredibly strong. Especially considering… he was only six years old.

"So this is Earth? It's not that big, but it's beautiful," Celari said, her eyes reflecting the planet's blue glow.

There weren't many worlds in the universe with such a rich, balanced ecosystem. Even Oyun had been lush and beautiful, but compared to Earth—with its perfect blend of oceans and continents—it fell a little short.

"Yeah… it really is," Harry murmured.

Looking at Earth stirred something deep in his chest—memories long buried.

It wasn't the same Earth he'd known in his previous life, but still, this Earth—the Earth of the Dragon Ball world—was the heart of everything, the origin point. Somehow, it made him feel… at home.

He didn't say it aloud, but in his heart, he'd already decided: someday, he'd settle down here.

"From the looks of it, Earth's actually not bad," Gine said bluntly. "For a lower-class planet, its environment alone could put it in the mid-to-upper tier."

Judging by "value" wasn't exactly kind, but it wasn't wrong either.

"I wonder where Kakarot landed…" Gine added softly.

Harry raised an eyebrow—of course. The moment they reached Earth, that was the first thing on her mind.

"I tried having the ship trace Kakarot's landing signal earlier," he said. "But nothing came up. Either his pod's been damaged, or he landed somewhere that blocks transmissions."

Gine frowned, worry flickering in her voice. "Then let's hurry and land. If something happened to Kakarot—"

"Hold on," Harry interrupted gently. "Let's check out the planet's energy first. I want to see if there's anyone strong here."

Caution. Carefulness. That was just who he was.

Gine and Celari took it as a safety check and didn't argue. They closed their eyes and began sensing the planet below, extending their awareness outward like invisible waves.

Harry did the same—not that he really needed to, but he couldn't just act like he already knew everything about Earth. That would be suspicious, even to Celari.

Their combined senses swept across most of the planet in an instant.

Countless life signatures flared in their awareness—tiny, flickering sparks. Most were so weak their power levels barely registered, single digits at best. Some didn't even reach that.

A few stronger ones had two-digit readings—likely Earth's top fighters by local standards.

There were even a couple of three-digit power levels scattered around, but nothing impressive enough to catch their attention. Harry already had a pretty good guess who they belonged to.

No doubt: Master Roshi, Crane Hermit, Tao Pai Pai, old Gohan… and a handful of other reclusive Earthlings with decent power.

But that wasn't what drew Harry's focus. His gaze shifted to the opposite side of the planet—toward two distinct, stronger energy signatures.

He knew exactly who they were.

Earth's guardian deity, Kami, and his attendant, Mr. Popo.

In the original records, their listed power levels were around 220 and 1030, respectively.

But the Popo he sensed now didn't come close to a thousand. Not even five hundred. His aura felt like it hovered somewhere between two and three hundred—roughly on par with Kami's.

Thinking it over, that made sense. Those official numbers were from the Saiyan Saga, after Popo had trained Krillin, Tien, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu for half a year—and continued training himself.

At this point in the timeline, he wouldn't have reached that level yet.

"Brother Harry," Celari said suddenly, breaking his thoughts. "I can't sense anyone particularly strong down there."

"Same here," Gine added. "Only two stand out at all, and they're maybe two or three hundred at best."

Harry nodded. Their sensing abilities were sharp enough to pick up the same readings he had.

"Since we're new here," he said, "why don't we go meet this planet's strongest? Maybe they can help us."

"Good idea," Gine agreed. "If they're that strong, they might've noticed Kakarot's arrival too."

Harry's chest tightened slightly at her words—but only for a moment.

He relaxed again soon after.

In the original story, neither Kami nor Popo knew who Goku really was when they first met. Which meant… they didn't know where he'd come from, either.

"..."
