After crossing the Portal, a strange feeling surged over Ian.
'Something's odd.'
He decisively left a Clone here to handle the Tyranids, while his main body instantly vanished from the spot, reappearing a second later in an empty region of the Warhammer Universe.
Subsequently, space began to distort violently. Immaterium Energy surged out, creating ripples as it collided with the material universe.
Spatial Rifts appeared one after another, flashing with heart-stopping Chaos light.
Through the distorted rifts, countless writhing limbs and twisted faces were vaguely visible.
"Interesting. It seems my arrival has caused some strange reactions," Ian chuckled, completely unafraid.
As time passed, Ian's perception gradually transcended the material universe.
He found himself existing simultaneously at the boundary between reality and the Immaterium, his dual vision allowing him to clearly see the matter of the real world and the turbulent Energy tides of the Immaterium.
'Since I've come to the Warhammer Universe, I must experience the Immaterium. Why not just go inside and take a look right now?'
He then reached his hand toward the largest rift and gently exerted force.
Zzzt!
The space was torn open, and Ian stepped directly into the Immaterium.
The sights within the Immaterium felt novel to him.
Here, there were no constraints of physical laws; time and space twisted and intertwined.
In the boundless Chaos Sea, countless fragmented pieces of a distorted reality floated.
Looking further away, gigantic, complex, maze-like structures were suspended above the void.
In the distance, the blood-red "sky" flowed with strange liquid.
He then sensed that he had generated a Projection in the Immaterium.
It was the image of a Steve carrying a Transmutation Tablet, his eyes emitting white light.
As time went on, the Immaterium Energy fluctuations in the material world gradually subsided, but the phenomenon inside the Immaterium became even more intense.
Ian's Steve Projection seemed to become an Immaterium Black Hole, constantly absorbing the surrounding Immaterium Energy.
Soon after, the distant Chaos Sea began to stir, and countless pairs of eyes opened from the void, staring greedily at this unfamiliar intruder.
They then rushed from all directions toward the source of the anomaly, their greedy gazes locked onto the blocky Projection. Ian's Immaterium form stood in the center of the Chaos Sea, Steve's pixelated face looking completely out of place, yet strangely fitting this twisted world.
"Looks like I became the hot commodity here the moment I arrived," Ian chuckled.
The Steve Projection casually drew an ordinary Iron Sword, while his other hand steadily held the Transmutation Tablet.
Masses of Lesser Daemons rushed out. They screamed and pounced on Ian, their sharp claws tracing strange marks in the Immaterium.
The Steve Projection swept the Iron Sword across, and the Daemons instantly disintegrated into Energy Fragments, which were absorbed by the Transmutation Tablet.
The fighting was continuous. Hundreds and thousands of Daemons flocked from all over the Immaterium, like sharks smelling blood.
He realized that the attacks here were more focused on the Soul than concrete physical damage. Gradually, he adapted to the Daemons' attacks, and they could no longer harm him in the slightest.
The numbers on the Transmutation Tablet grew at an astonishing speed, as the Daemons' Energy was continuously absorbed. Unlike before, these Daemons eliminated by Ian had no chance to regenerate in the Immaterium; their Essence was thoroughly scattered, becoming a part of Ian's Power.
Gradually, the distant Chaos Sea began to churn violently. It seemed that even more powerful beings had sensed this slaughter.
Meanwhile, the Clone that Ian had created found Lyon.
"Lyon, my main body has gone to explore the Immaterium. I'll handle things here for now," Ian patted Lyon's shoulder. "You rest first, and watch my performance."
After briefly explaining the situation to Lyon, he began the operation to wipe out the Tyranids across the entire planet.
The Clone soared into the air, hovering in the Kadaku planet's atmosphere. From high above, the entire planet's surface was almost covered by a black Tyranid Swarm, like a constantly writhing living carpet.
"Tsk, that's quite a lot." He then took the Cosmic Fissure Cannon out of the Transmutation Tablet.
It was a remote control wrapped in purple electric arcs. Ian raised the remote control, aimed at the dense Tyranid Swarm below, and gently pressed the button.
"Goodbye, bugs."
The moment the button was pressed, a white marker appeared above the Tyranid Swarm. Immediately after, hundreds of blinding Lasers descended from the sky, precisely hitting the marked area.
The Lasers pierced through the Tyranid Swarm without any hindrance, as if cutting through air. All matter touched by the Lasers instantly vaporized, leaving no ash behind.
A massive circular pit was instantly vaporized from the ground, with vitrified rock around the edges.
"The damage range is slightly smaller than the Exterminatus, but the single-target destructive Power is much stronger than the Exterminatus," Ian nodded in satisfaction, then flew toward the next target area.
He traversed the planet's surface like the Grim Reaper. Wherever he went, the Tyranids turned to dust. The enormous Tyranid Swarm Lords were as fragile as paper in front of the Cosmic Fissure Cannon.
"The power level of this Warhammer World is ridiculously high indeed," Ian muttered to himself while firing. "The difficulty of collecting Interdimensional Energy is almost catching up to the Void."
As Ian finished clearing most of the Tyranids from the planet's surface, the Transmutation Tablet finally sounded an alert.
[Ding... Interdimensional Energy value is full.]
[Ding... New Mod detected, ready to be activated.]
At the same time, the main body in the Immaterium also sensed the anomaly.
As he continuously killed Immaterium Daemons, the entire Chaos Realm began to shake violently. From the distant Energy Vortex, several vast Consciousness Waves were gradually awakening, their gazes penetrating the void and locking onto the intruder.
"Looks like I've startled the big guys," Ian chuckled, not panicking in the slightest.
'However, with my current body Defense, even if I stand still and let them attack, unless the Four Chaos Gods personally step in, they won't even scratch my HP.'
He directly sank his consciousness into the Transmutation Tablet and chose to activate the new Mod.
[Ding... Mod drawing in progress...]
[Ding... Mod drawing successful.]
[Congratulations, you have obtained the Mod: Endless Greed.]
"Endless Greed?" Ian's eyes lit up. "This wave makes me invincible!"
He quickly scanned the Mod's description, a dangerous smile spreading across his lips. With this Mod, he could slightly revise his plan for the Warhammer World.
"Alright, I unilaterally declare that the game is over now," Ian stretched his wrists, his gaze turning to the restless beings deep within the Immaterium. "Let's see who dared to stare at me just now?"
"Heard your Warhammer Chaos Gods are awesome?" Ian grinned, a dangerous light flashing in his eyes. "Let me see what's what."
