Chapter 191 - 1

Abominations faultszerotheninja2999Summary:

Lona a young woman that is trying to survive on the continent that has more and more dangers every day. From Ork-kin, mer-people, skeletons, and the dreaded abominations.

But Lona doesn't have that much of a problem with abominations, since she is one herself.

Will our main character be able to save her land from the horrors that plague it, or will she succumb to said horrors.

[For those of you that know what this is from. This will be like a playthrough with an adult Lona (I don't care what the creator says, she seems like a child in the game... or maybe she suffers malnutrition like Tanya the Evil) who was born an abomination. Yes she knows what she is, there is an actual backstory and not a, or you didn't know well here is a powerup bs.]

Chapter 1: intro to catastrophe or salvationChapter Text

Lona always knew that she should never consider herself a person, she had no right to. If you looked at her you would think that she was being pessimistic. Sure most people don't have red eyes or white hair, but that didn't make you a monster.

But her appearance wasn't the reason she thought she was a monster, it was the simple fact that she remembered her birth and the days after it. Her mother had been taken into the flesh prison that many other women had found themselves in.

That is where Lona was born, and everything knew that she was different, from her other siblings, to the hivemind that can't get into her head. But since she was their kin, nothing happened to her and she grew.

Lona had looked at her mother, and saw fear in her eyes. Lona knew that she would save her mother, even if she wasn't thanked and even hated by everyone. And that leads us to where everything started, where the entire world was flipped on its head again.

-------

She ripped the pire of flesh that contained her mother, and she fell to the ground, "W-Why?" Her mother was flinching away from her. She understood her mother's question, but she couldn't answer, all she knew how to communicate was with growls and roars. She put her hand out to her mother, and she flinched back.

After a while, she took her hand and a thought came through, 'So this is what flesh is supposed to be like.' She knew that her kind were not natural, none of the other prisoners split into other things when they died. And since they could not make children without someone besides their kind, that leant to what she thought.

So she copied what her mother's flesh and how it was structured, and changed. Her hand lost its long slimy texture and fingers started to appear. She took on the color of her mother's skin, and tried to copy everything about her mom. Her mother seemed frightened by the sight, she pulled away her hand and backed up.

When the changes were done, she looked like an almost complete replica of her mother. The only differences were; being shorter than her mother, her eyes were red, her hair was white, and she seemed to have no emotions showing on her face. For some reason she wrapped her arms around her mother, she had no idea why.

------------

Rune Falladin, had no idea what her life was. She had been in her village, she went out to get some flowers for her family, and then she was attacked by some monster, dragged back to their nest and forced to give birth to their spawn. She never wanted to get pregnant ever again, if that is what she had to go through.

After she gave birth, one of he- the things kept watching her. Only for it to break the flesh prison around her, and hold out its tentacle to her. She didn't know what would happen if she refused, so she grabbed it, and it started to transform.

Rune was terrified, not understanding what it was doing, she backed away. Then it started to look like a tiny her, it looked like her when she was a child. And it hugged her, she had no idea what her life was, but she thinks 'does it love me.'

Her D- the thing led her out of the nest. Rune made sure to grab the both of them some clothing as they made their way out. She wrapped it around the mini her, and made it seem confused, but nuzzled closer to her. Rune didn't jump or flinch, she was too sore for anything like that, it hurt to even walk right now.

The things didn't attack them, but they kept growling and screeching at them, and the mini-her screeched back. 'So they actually communicate. Then they have thoughts. So they are just like those parasites the Fishmen.'

They neared her village, and she knew she would have many questions from her parents. She definitely wasn't old enough to move out, let alone have a child that looked like she was five.

"Rune, is that you!?" Clive the guard for our village stated. Rushing to meet them, he stopped and clenched his teeth when he saw how she looked, and then his jar was open, "Who is that with you, Rune."

Rune didn't want to answer, "where are my mom and dad? I want to see them first." She knows it has only been a week or two, but she wants to see them. Clive nodded at her, understanding she did want to talk about the mini-her, "They are at your home. They just got back from searching the woods for you." That got Rune to feel fear, 'what if they got caught too.' She rubbed her stomach, she still felt those things flooding her, she shook her head and made her way to her home.

------

She doesn't understand why her mother was emulating the thing she had done, to two people. "I missed you guys. I… It was awful." Her mother told both people, they seemed to cry even more. And then the female of the duo looked at me.

"Rune. were you-" She seemed to cry even more, and the male was confused and looked at her, shocked by his expression "How? You have only been gone a month." The male looked as if he might attack her.

Her mother spoke up, "There are monsters near where those flowers grow." She shuddered, "They took me, and used me. She is my… my child, and she saved me."

The duo looked at her, "Does she have a name? Can she even speak?" Her mother shook her head, "We understand, is it okay if we do it." Her mother nodded, "Your name is Lona now."

"Lona." She spoke, now understanding how talking worked. She looked to her mother, she seemed to not want to see her "Mom." and that caused her mom to begin to start sobbing. Her mother fell to her knees, and Lona went over to wrap her arms around her mother.

She accepted it and responded in kind.
