Arianna walked into Ryan's study after having breakfast. And he was quick to ask her with the words, "What took you so long?"
"I was giving food to Yun Shin" she replied, and the air around him abruptly went cold, but she failed to notice it even when she sat on front of him.
"Have you ever fed me....willingly?" Ryan asked, his gaze a bit dark.
"No" she simply said.
"The why feed a fish?" he demanded.
"Because... I have to. It's not in the sea to feed on its own." she replied, blinking her eyes and wondering what's with him.
"Ah... I see" he said and gave his whole attention to his laptop.' F**k! That fish. One of these days I'll kill you. Just you wait. You think you can take my Ari away from me? Don't be delusional. I'll kill you and feast on your flesh which might not even taste nice. Tch!' where the thoughts in Ryan's head.
Ariana cupped her cheeks and smiled brightly, she said "Ryan, let's play"
He raised a brow, and looked at her, "We should play?" he asked and she nodded "What are we now? Kids?"
"It's not only kids who play, even adults too play. And I want to play with you" she said, her eyes twinkling.
"Well, I don't want to play" he disagreed, closing his eyes not to see her smiles and twinkling eyes, which he doesn't know how to resist.
"You...you don't want to play with me?" her tone changed like she was going to cry anytime soon.
He opened his eyes, "Aria, that's not what I mean...."
"But that's what you're saying. You said you'd never play with me"
"When did I..."
"Aigu!! How did I meet you who would never play with me? You want me to get bored and die? Is that what you want?" she ranted.
"Aria..."
She buried her face in her palms and began to cry "What did I do to deserve this? I just want to play but I can't because someone says he would never play with me. Why? Why, why, why, why,? Waaah!!!" she wailed like a child deprived the right to eat candies.
Ryan's fingers were on his temples, as he massaged them with his mouth open. What's with her drama this morning? And she wouldn't stop her fake cries. This girl...!
"Fine! " he said, irked. Arianna brought her hands below her eyes and looked at him. She then blinked twice. "Let's play" he said, with a feigned smile.
"Really?" she asked, trilled to bits and he answered with one short "Mm"
"Yay!!" she clapped her hands repeatedly and Ryan could only sigh.
"So...what are we playing?" he asked her.
"First, let's play hide and seek" she said.
Ryan leaned back on the chair with a raised brow "Who would hide? You?"
"Yes" she replied confidently.
"Hahaha.." Ryan laughed, amused and she frowned. "Aria...I'm the King of this game. It won't take me long to find you. In just two seconds, you're found. So tell me, how is it going to be interesting?" he boasted and she twitched her lips.
"That's why we'd do it my way" she said and his mischievous smile disappeared instantly.
"What way?" he asked and Arianna brought a handkerchief from her sweater pocket. She stood up and went behind him. "What are you doing?" he became uneasy.
"Blindfolding you, your majesty" she teased.
"Why?!"
"Stop asking questions. Tsk!" she began to blindfold him. "You're the King, so your way to find me would be unique"
Ryan held her arm and pulled her down to speak in her ear. "Since I'm the King... Would you be my queen?" Her heart skipped a beat when he asked, and her eyes fluttered.
"Y-you have to find me first" she told him.
"If I find you, what would happen?"
"I.. I would be your queen" she answered and a smile formed on his face, while she moved away. "But if you don't, you'll serve me for the rest of your life and do whatever I say at whatever time I want it"
He smirked, knowing it was impossible. "Alright. I accept"
"Okay! Let the game begin!" Ryan stood up, one hand in pocket while the other moved around. He walked slowly to the middle of the room where she stood, by following her scent and his mind.
"Aria..." he called her name and she answered. But where he heard her voice coming from wasn't where he thought she was. His head turned to his right, he moved. He called her again and she answered while giggling. Again, the location was different. After a few seconds, he heard the door creak open.
"Goodbye your majesty. Hehe" and she was out.
"Hey!" he hurriedly followed, but then bumped his forehead on the wall beside the door.
"Damnit!" he cursed while rubbing his forehead. He walked out, following her laughs and giggles as she made fun of him.
"Aria?"
"Yes, your majesty" she answered like a court lady answering the King, like how she sees in dramas.
"Where are you?"
"Right in front of you, your majesty" she replied. Ryan tried to grab her, but he grabbed plain air.
"Pfft! Hahaha..." she laughed really hard.
"It's not something to laugh about" he said as he continued searching for her.
"Of course it is. You really funny, your majesty"
"You're making fun of me, huh? When I find you, I'll make sure I sure I'll teach you a lesson" Ryan said and she cupped her cheeks.
"When would be, your majesty? It doesn't look like you'll find me anytime soon."
"I will. Just you wait."
"Pfft. Okay"
Ryan kept searching as they walked through the hallway. And she kept walking around and humming.
"Aria?" he called again and she answered "Where are you?"
"I've never seen where a king would asking where his queen is. He's supposed to be finding her not asking.Tsk" she pursed her lips.
"Aria, this is cheating" he told her as he walked down the stairs carefully.
"No, no it's not" she walked down the stairs in a haste and she rushed to the couch and jumped on it.
"Oh...so soft" she said. Ryan reached the end of the stairs, but he almost stumbled on his feet. He just cursed out loud. He continued his search as he walked forward to the couch. Again, he stomped his feet on the glass middle table.
"F**k!"
"Oh no. So sorry. Haha" Arianna said and laughed at him.
"Aria, this is not funny!" he yelled out in frustration and all she did was laugh. "This is so annoying" Following her scent again, he walked to the couch and she quickly stood up and sat on another. He followed her and she jumped from one couch to another. He kept on searching, for twenty good minutes, but he couldn't get a hold of her. He only got hurt in process.
Irked and exhausted, he sat on the couch and took of the blindfold, breathing heavily.
Arianna went to his side with her a mischievous smile "You give up?"
