Welt's mind was as clear as a mirror; he roughly knew what was about to happen.
So he kept trying to calm himself down, to appear as serene as possible.
March 7th leaned over, asking with a curious and expectant tone:
"Oh, is it time to summon that white-haired big brother who appeared in the live stream?"
Elysia smiled at her words:
"He's here, oh, and Mei, and my dear Eden~"
As she spoke, she specifically tilted her chin towards the void and urged:
"Ai chan, summon them quickly!"
[Ding! Exchanging for a pass requires 30,000 Wonderful Heart Value. Do you wish to proceed?]
Elysia didn't even think, immediately responding:
"Confirm!"
[Summon successful.]
As soon as her voice fell, three streams of light 'whooshed' into existence beside Elysia. As the light dispersed, three figures were revealed.
One was a beautiful woman with wine-red hair, elegant in demeanor, none other than Eden.
One was an older sister with black-purple hair, her expression serene, none other than Mei.
And the other was a white-haired man, his face calm, none other than Kevin.
Elysia quickly stepped forward and asked with concern:
"Alright~ Everyone, how are you feeling? Is there anywhere you're uncomfortable?"
Kevin, however, had no particular reaction. After all, he had been summoned once before, so he had experience.
But he briefly sensed his own power and found that it wasn't as abundant as during the previous summoning. Still, he didn't pay too much attention to it; it was good enough to be out, he didn't ask for too much.
His gaze subconsciously turned to Mei, a complex feeling in his heart—in a sense, they had truly returned to the human world.
Eden's face held a gentle smile as she looked at Elysia and softly said:
"Thank you, my dear Elysia."
Mei also nodded, a hint of emotion in her eyes.
It had been a long time since she had felt the sensation of having a body. This body was very healthy, which made her feel very grounded.
"Oh, why are we talking about thanks between us?"
Elysia took their hands and greeted them with a smile,
"Come on, come on, let's meet some new friends first!"
...On the other side, Welt actually didn't want to face Kevin again from the bottom of his heart.
But the current situation was something he couldn't have imagined, no matter how hard he thought about it before.
The Kevin before him, though his face and expression didn't seem much different from his memory.
However, the aura around him was much calmer, no longer that cold, soul-piercing feeling.
Was it because their current circumstances were different?
Or was it because he had let go of past responsibilities?
Welt's gaze shifted between Kevin and Mei, and he roughly had an answer in his heart.
He then thought of how he behaved in front of Tesla... suddenly feeling that, at times like this, perhaps men truly understood men better.
Kevin obviously saw Welt's hesitation. He took a small step forward and said very briefly:
"Herrscher... no, Welt."
"There's no need to care too much; the current stance is completely different from back then."
Stelle scratched her head nearby, muttering softly:
"Why do I feel like this is so wrong?"
March 7th also nodded, echoing:
"Yeah, aren't you all fellow countrymen from Earth? Why do you look so strange?"
Hearing Kevin's words, the knot of apprehension in Welt's heart finally completely dissipated. He nodded and said:
"Even so, we once stood on different sides, and indeed some unpleasant things happened."
"Oh, what's past is past!"
Elysia quickly smoothed things over,
"Now we can totally shake hands and make peace, and become friends~"
Welt looked at Elysia's sincere expression and also nodded with a sense of relief:
"Yes, Miss Elysia is absolutely right."
Mei had heard Kevin tell stories of the past and knew that the Welt before her was a Herrscher who once stood on the side of humanity. Seeing that the future of the people of Earth was now settled, she felt quite gratified.
However, her gaze quickly shifted to the sea of stars outside the train window. That endless ocean of stars instantly amplified her desire for exploration.
The stars were once enemies, and they still are.
And she might also have the chance to continue exploring... Just like that, everyone sat down on the train's sofas, getting to know each other with lively conversation.
"By the way, would you like to try the coffee I just brewed?"
Himeko smiled, offering it to the group.
"Oh yes, let's try it~"
Elysia was the first to respond.
So Himeko smiled and poured each of them a cup.
Welt, March 7th, Dan Heng, and Stelle all shook their heads in unison, declining.
March 7th quietly nudged Stelle with her elbow and whispered:
"Hey, didn't you say you were willing to take on a challenge?"
Stelle smiled slightly and also whispered back:
"I never drink that stuff, and I can still maintain vigorous energy."
Elysia picked up the coffee cup and took a large gulp directly... The brilliant smile on her face gradually became calm, and her eyes even looked a bit vacant.
It was as if the folds in her brain had been smoothed out by the coffee.
Eden looked at the cup of coffee emitting a strange aura in her hand, still maintaining an artist's elegance, and took a delicate sip.
Then... her expression froze for a moment, but quickly returned to normal, and she finally commented:
"Hmm, the taste is very unique."
Elysia seemed to find resonance and quickly laughed, chiming in: "Yes, yes, it seems to be Miss Himeko's exclusive secret recipe."
Himeko smiled, saying indifferently:
"It's just a hobby."
Kevin and Mei also took a sip, and both their expressions subtly changed, clearly not expecting such a "rich" flavor from a small cup of coffee.
However, Mei wasn't particularly demanding about taste; after all, if she wanted to, she could easily create things with far more terrifying flavors and textures than this.
Kevin was the same; the taste of this coffee still fell short compared to the most terrifying flavors in his memory.
Stelle and March 7th watched from the side, quietly giving them a thumbs up—thinking that they could drink this coffee without changing their expressions.
They truly weren't ordinary people. With such composure in the face of danger, they should succeed in anything they do...
[Sparkle: Haha, I always feel that the taste of this coffee is quite good~]
[Stelle: Come and try it!]
[Sparkle: I won't, little grey-hair.]
[Bronya Zaychik: How to put it, I also had the good fortune to try it once. The taste was indeed quite... peculiar.]
[Seele (No Surname): What's so good about drinking that stuff?]
[Bronya Zaychik: It probably depends on personal taste...]
