Chapter 41 - Chapter 41 The Bird with Broken Wings

"Greetings, everyone, and welcome."

A Halovian girl in an exquisite gown stood in the center of the lobby, a gentle smile on her face, seemingly having waited there for a long time.

March 7th quickly stepped forward with a smile:

"Oh, it's Miss Robin again! I remember when we first came to Penacony, you were the one who greeted us. I was so flattered back then."

Stelle also nodded in agreement:

"Although the experience was a bit winding, and we encountered quite a few troubles along the way, we also met Aventurine because of it…"

Upon closer reflection, those initial experiences in Penacony, when pondered now, seemed to reveal more clues that had gone unnoticed before.

Even the Stellaron Incident that later emerged no longer seemed as surprising as it did when first learned, as if everything had been traceable.

"Wow~ Are you the famous Robin?"

Elysia also smiled and moved closer to Robin, her eyes full of curiosity.

"I've seen you speak in the livestream many times; today I finally get to meet you in person."

Robin nodded slightly, responding politely:

"Yes, Miss Elysia, this is our first true meeting as well."

She swept her gaze over Eden, Kevin, and Mei beside Elysia, and continued,

"And Miss Elysia's friends… On behalf of the Family, I sincerely welcome you to Penacony."

Robin spoke neither humbly nor arrogantly, her voice clear and melodious, sounding very pleasant and leaving an excellent first impression.

Elysia praised her genuinely:

"I heard you're a renowned singer across the galaxy. To achieve such success in singing is truly amazing~'

"It's just an empty title."

Robin gently shook her head, her tone sincere,

"I merely wish to promote the concept of 'Harmony' through my songs, hoping to make this world a better place, nothing more."

Elysia turned to Eden beside her and asked with a smile:

"Eden, what do you think?"

Eden pondered for a moment before replying:

"Me? I think it's wonderful. Her ideas are somewhat similar to my original vision—both aiming to convey something through song."

"Exactly, exactly!"

Elysia immediately interjected,

"You both use your songs to encourage others, connecting hearts through music~"

For those skilled in music, often little verbal communication is needed; even just from the other person's song, they can understand each other sufficiently.

After a brief exchange, everyone discussed and decided to meet in the dreamscape later to fully experience Penacony's dream features.

Subsequently, Elysia and the others went to their designated rooms and successfully entered the Dream Pool… In the livestream, the bullet comments were still scrolling.

[Herta: About the ancient beast remains, aren't you planning to set off yet? If you delay any longer, it'll be too late.]

[Himeko (Astral Express): Madam Herta, please forgive us, Welt and I have already departed.]

[Herta: It's better to be quick. Don't keep them waiting too long; there's a little one waiting with Ruan Mei.]

[Ruan Mei: Yes, thank you all for your help.]

…At this moment in Penacony, the dreamscape was not as lively as before.

Perhaps it was because the Stellaron Incident had just ended; although the official explanation was "it was all the Company's doing."

But everyone still felt some lingering effects, and most people hadn't fully emerged from that atmosphere.

The winged boy, Sunday, who had just completed his transaction not long ago, was walking alone in this place so familiar to him.

He still wanted to come back and see it; it held too many memories for him.

From childhood to adulthood, his former ideals and ambitions, those grand or small wishes, were all born here.

Just as he had said in the livestream before, 'change' was a luxury for him.

And soon, he would also leave this place, just like his sister did long ago, embarking on an unknown path.

Only now, he was leaving as a fugitive.

Even if he wished to bid farewell to his most important sister, he felt it was entirely improper, fearing he would bring her trouble.

He looked down; the livestream screen was still there, with bullet comments occasionally floating by.

He felt as if he had returned a bit too early this time.

But this was also good; although there was a certain risk, at least he could take a few more glances, a few more glances at this place that held his past.

"Hmm? Someone's coming."

Sunday looked up slightly, towards the distant sky.

The sky was filled with brilliant stars, their twinkling light like scattered diamonds, incredibly beautiful.

Besides the starry sky, there were countless illusory buildings; this dreamscape carried the dreams of so many people… But among those in this dreamscape, how many were willing to stop and truly appreciate this starry sky?

Even in dreams, most were probably just doing their own things… "Speaking of that livestream… aren't you planning to use it?"

A voice in his heart seemed to remind him that using the livestream might allow him to do something for himself… Although very difficult, it wasn't impossible.

Sunday continued to gaze at the sky, not responding.

But he knew clearly that failure was already destined; he had broken his former wings and resolved to walk a new path.

This transaction was precisely that; although he didn't know exactly what he traded for his current freedom… Sunday wanted to see his sister, even if only from afar.

He knew Robin should be with Elysia and the others.

But… even if he couldn't go up and speak, a distant glance would be enough.

Unexpectedly, this small thought in his heart was quickly realized.

In the distant crowd, he seemed to see that familiar figure… If he just watched from afar like this, perhaps his regrets would lessen a bit…
