The rehearsal was over. Everything was set for tomorrow. Nothing and no one was going to stop the success of the Rowling fashion show. Though famished and stressed I had to push forward. This was the only way I and everyone who had put their efforts into this could feel satisfied and at ease


"Francis, where is Alexandria?" I asked as we walked down the hall.


We walked in silence. When we reached the lounge, Francis opened the door and stepped aside.


Alexandria looked terrible. She was thinner and paler than when I last saw her. As she stood up, her green dress hung loosely off her shoulders, making her look frail. The media had been tearing her apart since her stunt, but I didn't care about her stress—I cared that she had tarnished my image.


"Miss Alexandria," I said. "I see you've decided to show up at my office. In person. I emphasized each word. "I hope you have a reason."
