By all accounts the moment that Haley and Deacon Roth had started making out like teenagers, and she and Paul had been forced to cut their connection with them. The two of them should have logged off as well, no longer talking to each other. For the most part, the only thing that they had in common was their friends, and since their friends were indisposed at the moment, they should have had nothing to talk about.
But Erin was glad to be wrong on that front. Despite her being an archaeologist and Paul being a fashion designer, it turned out that the two of them had quite a lot to speak about. Now that they had freed up space by agreeing not to talk about what their friends were most likely doing, conversation was flowing smoothly.
