Haley Slater was in what the older generation would call a bit of a pickle.
She was a married woman who wanted to have sex with her husband.
If anyone were to hear her say that, they would probably scratch their head in confusion, not knowing why that was an issue. For any other couple that would not have been a problem. But she and Deacon Roth were in a marriage of convenience. They were a paper only type of couple.
No romance, no intimacy.
Up until recently that had served her well. But it no longer did so. Haley was as dry as the Sahara desert and she really needed rain. But unfortunately for her she would have to contend with that drought for much longer. To make matters worse when she finally did get some rain it most definitely would not be coming from Deacon Roth .
