Sometimes Haley got clients who were insanely private. People who were very guarded about their identity, all they wanted was for Haley to show up to take pictures for them(normally landscapes and objects, not the clients themselves). Then there were those who kept their identity a secret while discussing the details of what they wanted done. But once they felt comfortable enough with Haley, they often wanted to meet.
For safety reasons Haley always made sure that the meetings took place, somewhere public, with lots of cameras around so that if anything happened there would at least be eyewitnesses and also footage. That Wednesday Haley was meeting one such client in a coffee shop.
During their online conversations, the person in question had not disclosed a single thing about themselves, not even their gender. So Haley really was flying blind. All that she knew for sure about them was that they said they would be wearing a green scarf.
