Sometimes Haley blamed herself for the state of the relationship that she now had with her sisters. Sure, she too had been nothing more than a child when their parents had died. But she still felt that she should have done more. That she should have made sure that the three of them still remained a tight-knit group. Instead of all of them being so consumed by their grief and forgetting to lean on one another. But that time had come and gone, all that they had now was a relationship that was close only in blood, and nothing more.
Haley was closer to Erin than she was to her own sisters.
It was an awful thing, but it was still the truth.
