As much as Haley loved getting visits from her friend, she never liked it at all when Erin had to leave. Saying goodbye was never easy, and as was always the case. Instead of just letting her friend go, Haley was stalling.
"Be sure to call. Don't forget to eat. Put on sunscreen," Breaking their hug, Haley looked at her friend with tears in her eyes. A moment later the two of them were once again embracing.
"Just make sure that you take care of yourself all right," Haley whispered, then she emphasized the words by squeezing her friend even tighter.
They would have stayed that way for as long as humanly possible. But there was a not so friendly throat clearing that had them letting go reluctantly. Not looking impressed in the least, Paul raised a brow at them.
"Well, this is overly emotional, and completely unnecessary. Tick-tock Erin, you and I are on the clock," Looking at Paul, Haley could not help but smile despite the man's words.
