"It's gone..." Nach murmured as soon as he realized what was missing.
It wasn't his morning wood, of course. That was very much there beneath the bedsheet, as he was completely naked.
And it should be there—or else he wouldn't have the right to call himself a man—especially since Shizuka was sleeping beside him.
Shizuka wasn't naked, so nothing had happened yet. But her white turtleneck sweater and black tight leggings were so arousing that they caught Nach's attention the moment he opened his eyes—only for him to realize that the holographic screen of Reader's Viewpoint, which usually flashed in the corner of his vision, was gone.
Why?
It probably got hit by the EMP blast and malfunctioned inside his brain, which would explain the excruciating headache—or at least that was all Nach could come up with.
"What am I—a freaking Terminator?"
Whatever the real reason was, Nach decided to set it aside. No one would be able to explain it to him anyway. And it's not like anyone would believe him if he told them.
What mattered was that it was gone.
Ever since he found himself transported into the story of Highschool of the Dead, the Reader's Viewpoint had been his only clue in figuring out a way to wake up from what he thought was a dream.
Now that it was gone, maybe he needed to accept that this wasn't a dream at all—that he was truly in another world, or a different reality.
It reminded him of that really old anime about a girl who got pulled into a book and struggled to resist her desire to sleep with the male protagonist.
What was its title again? And how did she get out of the book?
"Nah—I can't remember."
What Nach did remember, though, was who he was: a 24-year-old freelancer, part-time survival nerd, zombie apocalypse enthusiast, and full-time degenerate pervert.
But there was more to it.
He wasn't exactly a foreigner. More specifically, he obtained Japanese citizenship after his father married his Japanese stepmother, and he had been living in Shizuoka, Japan, since he was nine.
When he turned twenty-one, his father and stepmother started traveling abroad for fun. They left him in charge of his fifteen-year-old stepsister and his three-year-old half-sister, whom he had to raise. There was also his stepsister's best friend living with them, so looking after the younger child wasn't that difficult.
Not to mention, he had plenty of free time since he only did odd jobs related to his survival hobby—like working as a gym instructor for women.
"Right… Nicole and Belle both got mad at me for messing up the curry for dinner. That's why I was… argh… using the female leads as fap material before bed…"
Setting aside that mortifying realization—and another one he had just indirectly admitted—along with his worries about how to return to his world, Nach focused on the situation at hand. Not his morning wood, but how long he had been unconscious and what had happened afterward.
He sat up in bed, leaning his back against the headboard.
As he patted Shizuka on the head—something she seemed to enjoy, judging by how she hugged his right thigh and leaned her face against his rod—Nach surveyed the spacious room and glanced outside through the gap in the curtains.
The clock on the wall had stopped, probably because of the EMP blast. Since it was still dark outside and there were no sounds of communication, it was likely past midnight.
That didn't exactly answer his first concern, but whatever—he thought.
As for his second concern, the fact that Shizuka was sleeping comfortably beside him reassured him that the Takagi Estate hadn't fallen after the EMP blast.
In the original plot of Highschool of the Dead, the Takagi Estate should have fallen by the time Shido's group arrived.
Perhaps because Shido was now dead—and Nach had arrived instead—or so he believed.
He had done a lot of unreasonable things and made even more stupid decisions. Now that he was starting to doubt whether this was a dream, maybe it would be better not to be reckless with his life.
There was also the fact that he had essentially reached the discontinued part of the story, meaning he had no clue what would happen next.
He wouldn't be able to see what was happening to everyone else either, since the Reader's Viewpoint was gone.
Regardless, he already had all the female leads and supporting characters he liked and cared about in one place.
"Wait—Rika wasn't here yet."
"Rika…?"
Nach's muttering woke Shizuka.
She raised her head to look at him.
"You finally woke up, Nach…" Shizuka murmured, still lying on his lap. Her half-asleep, slightly dazed expression only made Nach more excited and aroused.
"Did I make you worry?" Nach asked, steering the conversation away from mentioning Rika.
"Mhm~ I really did my best looking after you."
"Thank you, Shizuka, but I think you need to look after me even more."
Despite being half-asleep, Shizuka understood what he was asking for. After all, it was right in front of her.
She pulled down the bedsheet, revealing his massive throbbing erection, and opened her mouth to take care of him—by giving him a blowjob, of course.
"But you wanted more, right, Nach?"

Hey'a—It's UelUel. Welcome to the lazy and lousy Volume 2 of Extra in Highschool of the Dead.
YEAY!
Here are a few notes to start:
First, I'm giving Nach more background. If it clashes with what I've already written about him, let's just leave it at that—I'm too lazy to search previous chapters and too lousy to do more editing.
Second, I'm ditching the Reader's Viewpoint. I don't need it anymore since I've basically run out of material from the original manga.
Third, seriously, add my other ongoing books to your library. Maybe send some Gifts and Subs to help motivate me to keep writing.
Fourth, I think it's better to reduce the smut scenes. I'm getting tired of writing them. There will still be more, but I won't go into as much detail as before. Instead, I'll focus more on the reasons why Nach becomes intimate with the female leads.
That's all. Keep reading—Extra in Highschool of the Dead, Volume 2
