"Bring it, swords!"
Alex raised his hand, and the countless swords that had been planted in the ground shot into the sky.
As he lowered his hand, they rained down like bullets, heading straight for Assassin and Kotomine Kirei.
"Since it's the final battle, I might as well go all out!" Morgan's eyes sparkled.
Of course, a public display of power couldn't be complete without the Fairy Queen herself. She raised her staff and began chanting an incantation.
"Gáe Bolg, the Endless Spear!"
A moment later, high above the boundary of the reality marble, a massive golden spearhead pierced through the fiery clouds and slowly descended.
Tamamo-no-Mae, finding the spectacle amusing, also unleashed her royal-level magic.
"Cataclysm!"
There was nowhere for Assassin to hide. And inside the boundary, Kirei couldn't split off a clone to escape either.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Amidst the thunderous explosions, Assassin and Kirei were wiped out.
The fourth Servant had fallen, and the Lesser Holy Grail's magic reached full power.
Alex deactivated Unlimited Sword Works, and everyone smiled.
The Holy Grail War… was over.
Next stop: Ryudou Temple.
No rush yet—the first half of the final day had only passed, plenty of time remained.
"It's getting late. Let's grab lunch first, then head to Ryudou Temple in the afternoon," Alex told the women.
They all nodded enthusiastically.
After ending the live stream, they went to a noodle shop in the new city for some udon, then strolled back to the old town, the mountain village of Shinzan.
No hurry, so they treated it as a leisurely walk after lunch.
When they passed Wieminagawa Bridge—essentially the Fuyuki Bridge—they paused for photos together.
By 1:30 PM, they finally reached Ryudou Temple.
A strong, almost palpable magical aura emanated from underground—the concentrated leyline energy of the Great Holy Grail.
Alex first used a spell to clear out bystanders, then turned to Hestia.
"Your turn!"
"Piece of cake!" she replied.
With a flash of divine power, she brought the Great Holy Grail up from beneath the temple. It hovered in midair like a black void.
"This magic… it's already corrupted!" Hestia said immediately, reading the Grail's condition at a glance.
"Can your sacred flame evolve?" Alex asked, a spark of anticipation in his voice.
"Yes!" Hestia nodded.
"Good," Alex breathed a sigh of relief.
Then he looked at Merlin, Morgan, and Artoria.
"You three, you can enter the Grail now."
They exchanged glances. Merlin and Morgan understood immediately—Alex intended to use the Grail to give them real bodies, materializing their souls through the Third Method.
Only Artoria seemed confused about why she needed to enter, but since Alex said so, she followed.
The three leapt into the Grail.
Inside, black, scorching mud waited. The moment it touched a Servant, it transformed their spiritual forms into true physical bodies.
"How… how is this happening? I have a body?!" Artoria exclaimed.
She hadn't wanted one. She had answered the Grail's call only to make a wish—to change Camelot's fate. How could she return if she now had a body?
"No… this isn't right!" she yelled.
Seeing this, Altriel couldn't help but ask softly, "What happened to Saber?"
Alex chuckled. "Nothing serious. The black mud inside the Grail just gave her a body."
"What?!" Altriel's eyes went wide in shock.
As the small Grail vessel created by the Einzbern family, she had studied magic since childhood. Soul materialization—the Third Method—was exactly what the family had pursued!
Hestia's eyes shone as she stared at the Grail.
"Magic of the soul… this world really is fascinating," she murmured, jotting down every observation.
As a goddess, the Third Method wasn't immediately useful to her, but she might need it in the future.
Alex, meanwhile, wasn't bothered. That power was still far from his reach. One step at a time—too big a leap and it backfires.
As long as Hestia learned it now, he could learn from her later when he was ready.
Time passed, and the Grail finally spat out three figures: Merlin, Morgan, and Artoria.
Artoria's eyes were filled with despair. She finally realized the Grail wasn't a wish-granting machine—it had deceived her.
Alex glanced at Hestia. She nodded, then wrapped the Grail in sacred flames.
The filth inside burned away bit by bit, and the black magic turned into a clear, pale blue.
The black Holy Grail transformed into a blue one, the color of the sky, as if it had merged with the heavens themselves.
Under Hestia's control, the Grail slowly descended and settled before them.
Alex stepped forward, placing a hand on it.
He activated the Beiming Divine Technique and began absorbing it.
Endless streams of magic flowed into him, refining into his own power.
The sensation was intoxicating.
But the Grail's magic was immense. After absorbing only a little, his body reached saturation. Any more would be dangerous.
He opened his eyes, nodded to the women, and entered the Grail.
Inside, the purified Grail was a miniature paradise of birdsong and blooming flowers.
The scenery reminded him of the last episode of Fate/Apocrypha, when Sieg entered the Grail.
Walking through the flower sea, Alex soon noticed someone.
A woman who looked exactly like Altriel, dressed in a noble white gown.
No—Altriel had been created in her image.
The Winter Saint, Illyasviel von Einzbern.
The woman looked at Alex and said, "So you're the last Master in the Holy Grail War. Thank you for evolving this world's evil—you can finally speak your wish!"
Alex knew the Grail's wish mechanism had limits. A wish like Artoria's—changing Camelot's fate—was almost impossible to fulfill.
History had already happened. It couldn't be rewritten.
At best, a wish could spawn a parallel world, one that diverged from humanity's established timeline.
And if you weren't careful… well, that would be the birth of a new singularity.
Too complicated a wish was doomed to fail. Better to aim simple and practical.
Alex said, "I want to possess a Noble Phantasm in a human body."
Hustisa nodded. "Alright. Which Noble Phantasm do you want?"
Without hesitation, Alex answered, "The Treasury of Kings!"
"..."
