The mansion of Baron Volkov smelled like a stale ale and piss all over.
Royal Inspector Aris and General Arthur walked through the long, dark corridors of Volkov's mansion, flanked by their Royal Guards.
Meanwhile, the Blackfang bandits lined on both sides of the halls, their hands resting on their weapons. As they watched the Royal Inspector and the Royal guards walk by, they just looked them with their dead eyes, not even bowing.
Arthur's face was purple with rage, "This is an outrage," he muttered, his heavy boots stomping on the expensive rugs, "A bunch of bandits guarding a Baron? He is in house arrest here."
"Don't be impatient, General," Aris said smoothly, "Let us first meet the Baron."
Despite the Bandits swarming the mansion everywhere, no one stopped them, and they reached the master bedroom. A Blackfang guard even shoved the double doors open for them.
