Chapter 1028 - Chapter 426: Always a Child Before the Professor

Almost without thinking, Harry knew this was definitely Herbology's Professor Garrick.

He clicked on the profile of [Forever Young Garrick], and was greeted by a garlic avatar.

Alright then...

Harry's lips twitched twice, such an avatar could be none other than Professor Garrick.

This big sister-like professor lives up to her name and especially loves garlic.

After all, Garrick (garlic) means garlic, doesn't it?

"Hello, kids!"

Professor Garrick sent a cheerful greeting right after joining the group.

The first to respond was Imelda.

"Good afternoon, Professor! Only you would still call us 'kids'."

Professor Garrick sent a picture of a garlic with eyes and a nose, looking very happy.

"I received your invitation, Imelda," she said, "There's a class reunion on March 12th, right? Don't worry, I'll be there on time—I heard that little Harry is back, isn't he?"

"Yes, Professor." Harry, hearing his name, stepped forward to say hello.

"Tsk tsk." Professor Garrick was typing pretty fast, "Alright, then let's meet that day."

Harry really didn't expect Professor Garrick to still be alive.

Of course, back when he left a century ago, he heard that Professor Garrick was about to get married, and the object of marriage was...

A witch.

This gave Harry's young heart a shock hundreds of times over.

Not only because of an unspoken emotion from his deep inner self towards a young and beautiful sister-like professor but also because—he really saw a living Lala for the first time.

Professor Garrick: What? You've seen a dead Lala?

They stayed in Hagrid's hut until the evening before reluctantly leaving.

Hagrid was also reluctant to let them go, waving from his door and wiping away hot tears with a handkerchief.

It's uncertain what he was crying about.

Just as they entered the castle, Hermione was still excitedly discussing her plans with them, when suddenly Seamus urgently said: "Watch out!"

They turned around to see Mr. Fitch's shadow cast on the wall behind them, and then he appeared from around the corner, hunched over with his chin's drooping flesh shaking.

"Oh ho!" he wheezed, "So late and not in bed—detention!"

"Oh come on, Fitch," Harry said, "I think you didn't see anything, did you?"

Saying this, Harry pulled out a big can of cat food from his wallet and placed it before Mrs. Loli who was meowing.

Mrs. Loli meowed once and enthusiastically began devouring it.

Mr. Fitch looked a bit embarrassed and only then noticed Harry, so he coughed twice, turned his head outside, and said, "I think I was mistaken—"

"Goodbye, Mr. Fitch," everyone said together, then turned and left.

"You sure handled that well, didn't you?" Seamus grinned, "I really thought Fitch would crack down on us, but thank goodness Harry was so quick-witted, or we'd be toast!"

Approaching Gryffindor Tower, they encountered Peeves, who was gleefully rushing towards the sounds of chaos, giggling and shouting, "Where there's a fight, where there's trouble, call Peeves and he'll add to the mess!"

"Alright, I got it," Harry said without lifting his eyelids, "Where there's chaos, Peeves will be there to join in, right?"

Peeves spun in mid-air and excitedly slipped away.

He admitted that Harry was right.

As they arrived at the entrance to the Gryffindor Common Room, Lady Pang was dozing in the portrait, and being awakened, wasn't very pleased, pulled a long face, but nevertheless swung open to let them climb inside.

"What's she unhappy about?" Ron said as they walked into the common room, "Though we're a bit late, look at her face—I'm really starting to think her chin's going to touch the ground if she pulls it any longer!"

"Not that short," Hermione rolled her eyes, "If only she weren't a portrait, then Professor Scamander could use her when he needs someone to dig a pit."

Hearing Hermione's words, Ron chuckled.

At night, they continued gaming in the dormitory.

Playing games is fun, who would go to bed early?

Hermione, still alone, was tidying up her materials; she planned to officially launch the first video by March 15th at the latest.

Next day was Sunday, another leisurely day.

At noon, Hermione called them to the library to help find information. Initially, Neville was really reluctant, but after Hermione promised to help him pursue Luna, Neville gladly agreed.

"Hermione and I are the best friends in the world!" he declared.

They came out of the Gryffindor Common Room and turned into a corridor on the eighth floor; perhaps because it's the weekend, only a small girl was looking at a tapestry of a Giant in a ballet skirt.

Seeing these sixth-year students walking over, she seemed very frightened, dropping a heavy brass balance she was holding in her hand onto the ground.

"No problem!" Hermione said gently, quickly walking over to help her. "Here..." she said, tapping the broken balance with her magic wand, "Revert to original."

The little girl did not thank them but stood woodenly watching them pass by.

Ron glanced back at her.
