Upon hearing this, the kneeling commoners became even more frightened, and some even developed resentment toward Qian Renyue.
Qian Renyue closed her eyes briefly, then spoke gently to the people present, "I will close the clinic. Everyone here today may receive some silver. I sincerely apologize for wasting your time, and I will compensate you accordingly. Please go seek treatment at other clinics."

"How dare you! This is your mother's bedchamber! Without waiting for an announcement, you barge straight in—where is your upbringing? A man's furious voice rang in Qian Renyue's ears.
Qian Renyue dodged the thrown teacup and stood at the doorway, coldly looking at the harmonious, affectionate family of three inside. She slowly spoke, her voice icy to the bone, "Never."
"What did you say?" the man asked in disbelief.
"Didn't you ask whether I ever placed you in my eyes? I said—never," Qian Renyue replied again, the corners of her lips lifting into a mocking curve.
