Chapter 75 - Chapter 75

Since the Bloodstones specialized in hunting vampires and werewolves, she knew far more about these things than S.H.I.E.L.D.

"Traitor!!!"

The moment he saw Blade, the blood slave glared at him viciously.

But when his eyes met Linen's masked face, he instantly fell silent.

"So, why did you call me here this time?" Elsa asked, leaning forward with interest. "Have you finally decided to marry into our Bloodstone Family?"

"I told you before—we're the same kind of people. Fighting vampires and werewolves every day together would be amazing!"

Ignoring her blatant enthusiasm, Linen looked past her and nodded at Blade.

"Long time no see, Eric."

"Long time no see, Judge."

Blade nodded back, then fell silent again.

"Tsk. Still so boring. Last time in New York, you tossed me around in all sorts of ways—then asked me to marry into the Bloodstone Family and ran off yourself. I chased you for days!"

Hearing Elsa complain so boldly, Linen felt a headache coming on.

From behind him, he could feel Tony and Steve staring.

Linen turned around and shot them a glare.

Instantly, both men looked up at the ceiling as if they were deeply fascinated by it.

Noticing Linen's masked eyes now filled with cold light instead of pure white, Tony quickly pretended to be interested in a corner of the room.

"I'm here for something serious this time."

Linen pointed toward the blood slave.

"Do you know which vampire family he belongs to? My friend was captured by the clan behind him."

Elsa's expression immediately turned serious.

She examined the blood slave carefully, then shook her head.

"I can't tell yet. I need to retrieve my tracking slate—"

"Greg Family."

Before Elsa could finish, Blade finally spoke.

"He's just a dog raised by the Greg Family. They use him to lure in innocent girls for sacrifice."

"Three years ago, I tracked him down and almost killed him. But he was rescued by Santos Greg, the head of the family."

Hearing that, Steve—who had been pretending to study the ceiling—stepped forward.

"Mr. Eric, can you locate the Greg Family? This is very important to us!"

"I can't," Blade said. "But she can."

He pointed at the Bloodstone necklace hanging around Elsa's neck, then closed his mouth again.

"Wow… Steve Rogers. Captain America himself!"

Elsa grinned, shaking Steve's hand.

Then she added, "If you can convince Linen to marry me, I'll help you immediately."

Steve froze.

Just as he began considering how to respond, Elsa burst out laughing.

"Hahaha! Relax, I'm kidding. Don't take it so seriously."

Then she walked toward the blood slave.

As she pulled out a dagger, the blood slave panicked.

"Damn it! What are you doing?! Stop! You crazy vampire hunter—my master will never—"

Before he finished, Elsa pinned his arm and cut a shallow wound across it.

Blood began dripping down.

Elsa removed the Bloodstone necklace.

In the back, Linen folded his arms and casually asked Blade,

"So, Eric… are you planning to marry into the Bloodstone Family?"

The usually silent Blade suddenly stiffened. His eyes widened behind his sunglasses.

He looked at Linen. Then at Elsa.

He looked like he had just witnessed the most horrifying thing on Earth.

God forbid he ever got tied to the lunatic Elsa Bloodstone!

"Don't look at me like that!"

Without turning around, Elsa said coldly,

"Eric, if you keep staring at me like that, I'll dig your eyes out."

Then she turned back to Linen with a sweet smile.

"I only saved this unlucky guy from vampires and asked him to help me with some things. He's never touched me… except you."

"And Eric—no offense—but the Bloodstone Family rules say no woman in the family will ever marry a black man."

Blade let out an audible sigh of relief.

Then he glared at Linen with deep resentment—even through sunglasses.

"Ahem…"

Linen patted Blade on the shoulder with a look that said, I understand your pain.

He had known Elsa for more than three years. He knew exactly what she was capable of.

Blade quietly stared at him again as if asking,

What did you survive? How are you still alive?

They shared a silent look.

Only men understood each other at moments like this.

Luckily, Elsa was the only one left in the Bloodstone Family.

If there were more like her…

that family would be terrifying.

"Tsk… bad men."

Elsa muttered when she sensed their terrified gazes and mutual sympathy.

She resumed the ritual.

More than ten minutes later—

The Bloodstone necklace flared with blood-red light.

Elsa turned.

"There's a result."

Linen looked at Steve and Hill.

"Time to move."

"I'll get everything ready."

Hill immediately left to prepare the Quinjet.

Aboard the Quinjet, ten minutes later—

Following the direction indicated by the Bloodstone's red light, Elsa guided Hill from the co-pilot seat.

In the cabin—

"So what's going on between you and that beautiful girl? Why do you and the cool black guy both look scared of her?"

Tony stared at Linen like a gossip lover.

She was beautiful, but both Linen and Blade treated her like she was radioactive.

Linen and Blade exchanged another silent glance.

No words.

Just trauma.

A woman with family legacy + hereditary insanity.

No matter how beautiful she was… no sane man wanted trouble.

Tony shrugged.

"Fine, don't tell me. I just hope Natasha's okay. I'm really worried."
