"What photo?"
Marcus's voice was sharp with confusion as he stared at Dmitri, and denial showed clearly in his expression even before he'd seen what Dmitri was holding.
"This one," Dmitri said, and he held up the small photograph so Marcus and Aria could see it clearly. "I found it under the table by the door. It must have fallen when James dropped his wallet."
Marcus took the photograph and studied the image of a woman standing on a Paris street, smiling at the camera.
It was Mora Lee. Or Catherine. The woman looked exactly like both of them.
"Are you sure this fell from James's wallet?" Marcus asked, and skepticism filled his voice. "Maybe it was already on the floor, and belongs to someone else who was here earlier."
"There's been no one else here," Viktor said quietly. "Just us and James. And I watched him drop his wallet, Marcus. Items were scattered everywhere, and he grabbed them up quickly. He must have missed this one."
