"You died that night."
Aria's voice cut through the planning session, and everyone stopped talking.
She was staring at Dmitri with an intensity.
"I watched you die on the security monitor," Aria continued. "I saw them shoot you three times, and I saw you fall, and you were alive now?"
Dmitri had been studying the financial records on Viktor's computer, but now he straightened slowly and met his sister's eyes.
"Aria, this isn't the time," Dmitri said.
"Then, when is the time?" Aria demanded. "We've been working together for weeks, and you've never explained how you survived, and I think I deserve to know how my dead brother came back to life."
Marcus glanced at Viktor, who gave a nod that said Let this happen.
"Sit down, Aria," Dmitri said quietly.
"I don't want to sit down," Aria replied. "I want answers, and I want them now."
