"I found the owner of Guardian Trust Holdings."
Ghost's voice came through Marcus's phone at 2 AM, three days after they'd fled the operations center and gone completely dark.
Marcus sat up in the cheap motel bed where he and Aria had been hiding, and Dmitri was already awake in the chair by the door with his gun in his lap. They'd been rotating sleep shifts since the threatening messages, and paranoia had become their default state.
"Tell me," Marcus said, putting the phone on speaker so Aria and Dmitri could hear.
"It took me seventy-two hours to crack the final encryption layers," Ghost said, and she sounded exhausted. "Whoever set this up knew what they were doing because the shell companies were nested seven layers deep with military-grade security on each one."
"Just tell us the name," Aria said, fully awake now and sitting beside Marcus.
