Chapter 236: Mage Armor

Everyone discussed the incident at the scene for a long time, but on the surface, nothing could be seen.

As the corpse of the dead ghost completely dissipated from the mortal world, the Professors discussed defense measures and then helplessly dismissed everyone.

Levi, Hermione, Harley, and Ron, these second-year young wizards, returned to the common room under the escort of Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick.

As soon as Levi entered the Ravenclaw common room, the young wizards who were already in a heated discussion surrounded him, asking in a flurry what had happened.

After briefly explaining the situation, Levi took the opportunity to say:

"By my estimation, the same thing that happened last school year is likely occurring again!"

"We don't know for now what exactly launched the attack."

"But everyone must travel in groups and not act alone. More importantly, do not place blind trust in strange things—not just alchemical items that can talk, but also unknown magical creatures that can communicate, or weird entities that can control your thoughts..."

"Most of these things contain terrifying Dark Arts; a slight lapse in caution could result in your body being taken or your life being drained dry!"

Levi spoke in a stern, warning tone.

Although tom riddles diary was likely in the hands of a Gryffindor student, it couldn't be ruled out that a student from another house had brought it into the school.

Afterward, he asked Ron about the conflict between Lucius Malfoy and his father, Arthur Weasley, that day.

According to Ron, Flourish and Blotts was crowded with Hogwarts young wizards because Lockhart was holding a book signing.

Levi only had to think about the environment at that time to find it difficult to guess who the person was who actually brought the diary in.

If Lucius hadn't vindictively planted the diary on a member of the Weasley family, then any student present at the time could have been the one!

After all, Lucius's fundamental goal was to rid himself of this Dark Arts item given to him by his master, Voldemort.

He didn't know that the thing he casually threw away was actually Voldemort's lifeblood, the first Horcrux containing a small half of his soul—tom riddles diary.

"Don't worry, Levi. We naturally know that if a magical item has a mind of its own, we'd better know where its brain is!"

The Ravenclaw students spoke to Levi with utmost rationality.

Although Ravenclaw young wizards could be somewhat obsessive, their academic knowledge was beyond reproach; they naturally knew how much harm an item with its own thoughts could cause.

Levi nodded in satisfaction; with his prestige in Ravenclaw House and the school, his words were sometimes more effective than those of some Professors.

At the same time, something similar was happening in Gryffindor House.

Ron, like a bard, recounted the day's experiences, drawing gasps of surprise from the Little Lions.

The ghosts' terrifying Deathday Party, the mysterious washing machine, and the death of a ghost all sounded like a scary and unknown adventure!

Some Gryffindor Little Lions even felt it was a great pity they hadn't joined Harry Potter's group; otherwise, they could have experienced such a thrilling event firsthand instead of just listening to Ron boast.

"Alright, everyone, this isn't a good thing!"

Little McGonagall stood up at this moment, mimicking Professor McGonagall by pursing her lips and speaking with a serious expression:

"You must pay attention to your surroundings, travel in groups, and be careful..."

Little McGonagall relayed Levi's words while carefully observing everyone's expressions.

Before returning to the common room, Levi had asked them to keep an eye on the expressions of people in the castle.

Although he didn't explicitly tell Hermione and the other two that there was a Horcrux in the castle, he conveyed a similar meaning, asking them to keep watch.

In terms of strength, Levi basically no longer feared any Wizard or dark creature below the level of the three great Wizards: Grindelwald, Voldemort, and Dumbledore.

However, rules restricted Levi from acting arbitrarily to achieve his goals.

Otherwise, he could simply storm into every dormitory in Hogwarts and conduct a school-wide search to forcibly find tom riddles diary.

But he couldn't do that, because even Dumbledore, the Headmaster, couldn't do such a thing.

Over the next few days, Levi's words indeed took effect; the young wizards in the castle moved in groups, alert to the light, shadows, and sounds at every location.

The Weasley Twins approached Levi once again, asking if he wanted to put the refraction amulet back on sale.

Whenever something happened at Hogwarts, it was time for the Weasley Twins to join Levi in profiting from the school's crisis.

"No," Levi refused under the surprised gazes of the Weasley Twins.

"According to my deduction, the refraction amulet likely offers no protection against these attacks!"

"I will sell an amulet called Mage Armor to protect the young wizards in school, so they can survive safely through future unknown miracles!"

The refraction amulet was an alchemical amulet invented to deal with the Basilisk; it had no protective effect against attacks launched by a Wizard controlled by tom riddles diary.

The Mage Armor amulet Levi intended to craft this time was based on the Mage Armor arcane Spell Template he had researched by modifying the Iron Armor Charm, using that template as a prototype.

The Protego in the Harry Potter world can summon a layer of invisible, transparent armor to protect the Wizard's entire body and defend against most magic.

Levi transformed it into a First-Circle Arcane Spell Template—Mage Armor. Aside from superior defensive capabilities, there were almost no changes; after all, the original spell was already perfect and almost impossible to improve upon.

If the trigger for Mage Armor was passive, Levi could make Mage Armor permanent on himself.

Once someone launched a sneak attack on Levi, even if he didn't react, Mage Armor would trigger passively to protect him!

The Mage Armor amulets he intended to craft were the same, with defensive power almost identical to the arcane spell.

But after the finished product was crafted, Levi inspected the badge-like amulet in his hand, which looked like a small shield, and found a drawback.

That is, once an attack exceeded the amulet's defensive range, the entire badge would break, and the activated Mage Armor would fail.

The fundamental reason for this was that an amulet no larger than a quail egg used too little magical metal, making it easily destroyed.

If Levi were willing to consume a large amount of magical metal to forge a suit of Mithril or other metal armor,

and then enchant that metal armor with Mage Armor, it could withstand the powerful attacks of even the Dark Voldemort himself.

However, such materials and enchantment would require a massive amount of resources, and the price would be astronomical!

If he wanted the young wizards in Hogwarts Castle to buy such a treasure, probably no one except a few young wizards in Slytherin House could afford it!

Moreover, such armor would be too heavy; with the weak bodies of Wizards, they wouldn't be able to wear it at all!

"Forget it, even this is enough!"

"After all, cost is an unavoidable drawback!"

"With the Mage Armor amulet, they can block those unknown attacks and won't be killed directly like that ghost!"

Levi casually set up the production tasks in the Alchemy Workshop and put the matter out of his mind.

As his study of magic deepened, he increasingly felt that the conflicts in the original story were as laughable as children playing house.

Even now, he could find most of Voldemort's Horcruxes at any time; as long as he dealt with the soul fragment in Harley's head, he felt he could almost kill Voldemort completely!

He now felt that a villain of Voldemort's caliber was no longer worthy of being his opponent!

Let Old Dumbledore and Old Gellert deal with Voldemort's Horcruxes; what I should do most now is cultivate.

Thinking this, Levi opened his arcanist mod.

He still had ten Zero-Circle Cantrip Spell Slots that hadn't been filled with Spell Templates.

Once these Spell Slots were filled, his first-circle Spell Slots would also surge to ten.

For his first-circle arcane Spell Slots, besides filling one with Mage Armor for protection, Levi also planned to fill some with truly powerful offensive spells.

For example, Magic Missile, Burning Hands, Chromatic Orb, Thunderwave, Scorching Ray...

Each of these first-circle arcane spells could be seen as terrifyingly powerful elemental magic in the Harry Potter world.

They might not compare to Dumbledore's Firestorm or Grindelwald's Protego Diabolica, but they were enough to make Levi invincible in the Harry Potter world!

Ultimately, while some spells in the Harry Potter world's magic system were wondrous, their true destructive power was far inferior to the elemental magic of other worlds.

Especially in the current magical world, all Spells have been refined from Ancient Magic into modern magic.

They were changed from being high-powered and extremely uncontrollable to low-powered and highly controllable!

In addition to these offensive elemental spells, Levi also planned to learn some first-circle arcane spells with unique effects.

For instance, Charm Person could greatly increase Levi's already extraordinary charisma, almost to the point of deluding people's minds.

Under the influence of this spell, Levi's charisma alone could make people follow him as if they were under Hypnosis, becoming fanatical sycophants who would even sacrifice their lives without hesitation.

Then there was Sleep, which was essentially an area-of-effect Stupefy; once cast, all life within a 50-meter radius of Levi would fall into a deep slumber.

And Invisible Servant, which consumed magic to create a human-sized invisible servant that could scout, open doors, flip switches, do chores, and block damage...

Once Levi successfully mastered this spell, he planned to send Invisible Servants to sneak into the common rooms of the four houses and enter the young wizards' private dormitories to search for tom riddles diary.

The arcane spells provided by the arcanist mod were as numerous as the stars; even just the first-circle magic left Levi spoiled for choice.

Although the Spells in the Harry Potter world were also diverse, they primarily emphasized being strange and quirky; in terms of power and functionality, they were far from comparable to the Arcanist's arcane spells.

No wonder Levi felt that having merely reached the level of a First Circle Arcanist, he no longer feared any Wizardbelow the level of the three great Wizards in terms of strength and combat capability!

In addition to practicing magic, Levi also bought some data on computer programming and artificial intelligence from the human world via the Shop MOD.

Even the knowledge he purchased from the wizard tower mod was already enough for him to construct a mature Tower Spirit!

But, just as he had told Hermione before, the wisdom of ordinary people was definitely not to be underestimated!

This was true for theories of philosophical and ideological revolution, and it was equally true for scientific knowledge.

Wasn't the energy supply for his wizard tower also constructed with the help of ordinary people's nuclear energy theories?

To create the Tower Spirit, Levi also spent most of his free time practicing those three high-level spells—Soul Extraction Technique, Soul Spirit Construction Technique, and Advanced Enlightenment.

Among them, the power of the Soul Extraction Techniquegave Levi a great surprise.

Any soul, as long as it wasn't strong to a certain degree, couldn't resist the Soul Extraction Technique cast by Leviand would be controlled and compressed into a soul crystal.

"In that case, perhaps I can try to extract Voldemort's soul from the Horcruxes and turn it into soul crystals?"

"Could the same be done with Harry Potter?"

Having just completed the training for the Soul Extraction Technique and mastered this powerful spell, Levi couldn't help but think this.

He wanted soul crystals, and he didn't want to spend Academic Credits; perhaps letting Professor Voldemort sacrifice himself for him was the optimal choice!

If he could really solve the problem of the Voldemort soul fragment on Harry Potter, Voldemort would truly no longer be a threat!

Whether it was Old Dumbledore, Old Gellert, or Levihimself who acted, Voldemort could be killed completely after destroying all the Horcruxes!

"Good heavens, if I think about it this way, the Harry Potterstory could be finished through me in the second year!"

Levi thought with extreme excitement; he didn't feel any fear toward Voldemort, he just felt the guy was like a toad crawling on his foot—he didn't bite, but he was disgusting!

If Voldemort could be dealt with early, he could study and read in Hogwarts peacefully, practice magic, and earn Academic Credits steadily.

But on second thought, Levi felt he was being a bit unrealistic.

Just tom riddles diary, this one Horcrux, had him in a muddle, and he hadn't even gotten his hands on it yet!

Although he knew the locations of the other Horcruxes, could they really be obtained as easily as in the original story?

And even if Voldemort were dealt with, there was still Old Gellert!

Although this guy possessed great leadership charisma and a strange, wild, and attractive aura,

it was undeniable that the reason for this guy's prison break really made one wonder if he wanted to start another war between Wizards and Muggles.

And Dumbledore had actually let this guy into Hogwarts; the two hundred-year-old former lovers, the White Lord and the Dark Lord—they surely couldn't be doing this just for a private reunion, right?

As soon as one problem is pushed down, another pops up!

Levi lamented inwardly; he was starting to feel a bit like a Little Dumbledore.

He really couldn't help worrying about the country and the people!

Chapter 237: This Day Last Year

Every Halloween, an accident occurs, and every time it's the Gryffindor Quidditch team's turn to play, something goes wrong!

This was the pattern Levi had summarized from his memories of the original Harry Potter books!

In fact, Levi was not disappointed; today was the Quidditchmatch between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, but the entire school's faculty and young wizards, including the Gryffindor team itself, didn't hold much hope for victory!

"Harley, you're the only player among us with a Nimbus 2000. The victory of this match rests entirely on you!"

"You must find the Golden Snitch as quickly as possible and end the game!"

"We'll try our best to delay them and stop them from scoring. If you can't end the match early before the score gap widens, I'm afraid we're doomed to lose!"

Wood, the captain of the Gryffindor team, spoke to Harry Potter with a face full of agony.

If he had a choice, he really didn't want to pin all the team's hopes on Harry Potter; after all, this was a seven-person game, not a solo match.

But there was no other way—the Ravenclaw Quidditchteam's broomsticks were simply cheating!

The entire team was equipped with Firebolts. This broomstick had just hit the market and was already being hailed by the entire Wizarding World as the most superior and fastest broomstick in history.

Except for Harry Potter, everyone in Gryffindor was still riding worn-out brooms from the Cleansweep series. How could they compare to Ravenclaw?!

At this moment, Wood finally understood how other teams felt when facing Harry Potter!

It had nothing to do with skill or strategy; it was purely a matter of superior equipment crushing them, leaving their hopes for victory nearly non-existent.

"Don't worry, Wood, I'll give it my all!"

Harry Potter felt the weight of responsibility on his shoulders and nodded seriously with a solemn expression. Fortunately, his glasses had been enchanted; otherwise, they would have flown off long ago!

The match officially began. With a whistle, the seven Ravenclaw players on their Firebolts shot out like arrows from a bow, scoring a goal in an instant!

"Beautiful!"

Lee Jordan, the Gryffindor Quidditch commentator, praised lightheartedly.

But he suddenly realized he was a Gryffindor and immediately tried to cover his words, saying:

"Beautiful broomsticks! By Merlin's wings! The Firebolttruly is the finest broomstick of the century. I bet even seven monkeys riding them could win the match!"

His words implied that Ravenclaw's scoring was entirely dependent on their broomsticks—relying only on good equipment without a shred of skill or tactics.

"Jordan," Professor McGonagall, who was supervising the match nearby, immediately scolded him.

Although she also felt Ravenclaw's victory was a bit unsporting, there was nothing she could do. After all, who started this bad trend?

If she hadn't brought Harry Potter onto the house team in his first year and gifted him a Nimbus 2000, Ravenclawwouldn't be following suit now by accepting Levi Keynes's donation!

Levi, that boy really knows how to make money!

Thinking back to when he had to work just to attend school, and in the blink of an eye, he could donate broomsticks to the school!

Feeling a bit annoyed, Professor McGonagall shifted her focus to Levi.

Levi's life was getting better and better, to the point where he could donate broomsticks to the school, which naturally filled Professor McGonagall—who cared about him—with joy.

Even though her own house team was about to be defeated because of the broomsticks he donated, she couldn't bring herself to feel angry.

However, while Professor McGonagall was magnanimous, the Gryffindor young wizards were not.

Their eyes widened as they watched Levi sit down next to Gryffindor's Miss Know-It-All!

Good heavens, the broomsticks you donated are about to defeat our house's Quidditch team, and you dare sit in the Gryffindor stands!

Wasn't this a blatant provocation right in front of our faces!

Levi, aren't you being too bold? Do you take us Gryffindoryoung wizards for incompetent fools?

In truth, these were just joking thoughts in everyone's minds.

After all, a Quidditch team seeking better broomsticks wasn't against the rules!

If they wanted to blame someone, they should blame Gryffindor for not having such an outstanding alumnus to donate six Nimbus 2000s to their team!

Or even better, seven Firebolts!

They only hated their lack of financial power! Watching Ravenclaw's score climb steadily on the pitch, the Gryffindor young wizards thought bitterly.

"Levi, how much does it cost to buy a Firebolt?"

Ron was sitting right next to Levi, asking with a face full of envy as he watched the Firebolts whistling past on the pitch.

Although he knew he couldn't afford it, it didn't stop him from asking the price and inquiring about the broomstick's performance.

"Anywhere from 300 to 500 Galleons," Levi said casually.

His eyes weren't on the match at all; instead, he was scanning the faces of every Gryffindor young wizard.

If someone were being controlled by tom riddles diary, their life force would definitely be drained, showing symptoms like a pale complexion, weakness, and dark circles around the eyes.

If he could find the person fitting these characteristics in the stands, perhaps he could easily obtain that diary Horcrux!

"Why is the price range so large? Shouldn't there be a fixed price?"

Hermione couldn't help but ask curiously upon hearing the price. In her impression, even Diagon Alley in the Wizarding World was like a department store in the Muggle world, with prices marked on every item.

"Limited production, hunger marketing, price upon request, lottery wins," Levi rattled off a few terms, and Hermioneshowed a look of sudden realization.

Wasn't this just the trick of high-end custom goods?

So-called high-end luxury goods played this game: no fixed price, one-on-one transactions upon request!

Although Hermione wasn't very familiar with this tactic, she could guess the Firebolt's marketing model.

Ron, on the other hand, only half-understood and couldn't grasp the riddles they were speaking; his attention was quickly drawn back to the match.

However, while watching the game, he also noticed little Purrloin cradled in Hermione's arms!

"Levi, your purple cat is really cute, but she doesn't eat rats, does she?"

Ron hesitated for a moment before asking Levi.

Because of Purrloin's presence, he had already argued with Granger several times this semester!

However, based on his observations, he was completely worrying for nothing. Levi and Hermione always fed Purrloin various delicacies and fruits, and never seemed to feed her things like raw rat meat.

This cute cat didn't seem to have any desire to hunt.

"Purrloin isn't an ordinary cat; she is intelligent and won't harm other lives randomly!"

Levi spoke thoughtfully, suddenly looking at Ron with an explanation that was both clear and vague.

"That's good, that's good," Ron said, glancing apologetically at Hermione and the Purrloin he had suspected, letting out a sigh of relief.

He had recently noticed that his pet Scabbers would always mysteriously disappear for a while, and was lethargic and particularly sleepy.

He had thought Purrloin the cat had frightened his rat Scabbers, which was why he had several big rows with Granger!

But now, hearing Levi's answer, he finally breathed a sigh of relief, knowing he had suspected the wrong person!

Ron didn't want to fall out with Levi and lose a friend over Scabbers and Purrloin!

He had always been grateful to Levi for giving him the hero king game console last year and for organizing the Hero King Game Championship!

Ron's personality was insecure and sensitive; he had always felt like an insignificant nobody in his family.

But when he discovered his talent for gaming and won the Champion title at the King of Heroes Championship, that feeling of being the center of attention made Ron feel like he was truly living!

That version of himself standing in the middle of the crowd, being noticed, was the real him!

Naturally, he was grateful to Levi—grateful for the hero game console, for inventing the King of Heroes game, and for organizing the game tournament!

He was even more grateful to Levi for giving him the chance to become the Champion!

So, hearing Levi's explanation and answer, Ron chose to believe him immediately, no longer suspecting that his pet rat Scabbers's lack of appetite and lethargy were due to Levi's pet cat.

But in Levi's mind, a bolt of lightning struck. He suddenly realized which Wizard was being controlled by tom riddles diary!

Or rather, he finally knew why he couldn't find the Wizardwho had hidden the diary!

No wonder during the Christmas attack, everyone in the castle—both staff and young wizards—had an alibi!

He had actually forgotten that inside Hogwarts castle, there was a ghost sleeping with Ron—a henchman of Voldemort who had been hiding his name for over a decade!

He hadn't brought him to justice yet!

"Ah!"

Just as Levi figured this out, a scream suddenly erupted from the pitch!

Looking up, what happened last year was happening again today!

The Quidditch Quaffle was once again being manipulated, attacking Harry Potter as he chased the Golden Snitch in the sky!

"Incarcerous!"

Before anything could happen to Harry Potter, Professor McGonagall, who had long been on guard, controlled the Quaffle with a spell and scanned the entire pitch with eyes as sharp as a hawk's!

She was like an enraged lioness at this moment, wanting to find the sneaky culprit who had attacked Harry Potter!

She was absolutely furious. Every year, some evil-doer used her favorite Quidditch match to launch an attack on Harry Potter, and using the same method too!

It wasn't just an attack on Harry Potter; it was a provocation against Hogwarts!

"Match is over! Everyone, return to your house common rooms in an orderly fashion immediately!"

Professor McGonagall let out a roar like a lioness. After ending the match and arranging for the young wizards to leave, she immediately summoned the Professors to conduct a school-wide search and investigation!

No matter what, she had to find that sneaky coward who only dared to launch sneak attacks!

Levi naturally left the pitch with the crowd, silently wishing the House-elf Dobby good luck. His priority now was to find the Weasley Twins!

"What's wrong, Levi? It's not time to split the profits yet, is it? We've only sold a few amulets!"

In a corner of the castle, Levi cornered the Weasley Twins, who were trying to sneak into a secret passage to go play outside the school.

George and Fred thought Levi was there to collect the money and spoke with some confusion.

After Levi had refined the Mage Armor amulets, he had entrusted them to the Weasley Twins to sell.

The Mage Armor summoned by the amulet was a genuine First-circle arcane spell with powerful effects, and it wasn't cheap. The Weasley Twins hadn't sold many in the past few days and wondered why Levi was in such a hurry for the money.

Could it be that their boss was running low on gold coins in his vault after donating those broomsticks to Ravenclawand was anxious to recoup his losses?

"George, Fred, do you still have the Marauder's Map on you?"

Levi asked the two of them with some tension and concern.

"Of course, it's our most precious treasure!"

"Levi, do you need to use it? We agreed back then, and now is a good time to lend it to you!"

The Weasley Twins realized what he wanted upon hearing the question and pulled out an old piece of parchment.

What they held was the Marauder's Map, which could show Wormtail disguised as the rat Scabbers!

Levi had figured it out—without the Basilisk to launch attacks in the castle,

tom riddles diary had instead teamed up with Wormtail, who was disguised as Scabbers.

The remnant soul of Voldemort and Wormtail, Peter Pettigrew, had colluded and worked together to launch attacks in the castle.

This also explained why Ron's pet rat Scabbers had been so lethargic.

As a Horcrux, it wasn't that simple for the remnant soul inside tom riddles diary to be resurrected!

Moreover, to cast Dark Arts powerful enough to kill a ghost, a large amount of life force was certainly required!

Tom Riddle wasn't just draining Peter Pettigrew's life force; he must also be using killing to gain the capital for resurrection!

Levi asked the Weasley Twins for the Marauder's Map to prove Peter Pettigrew's existence to Dumbledore.

By catching this damned traitor, he could not only obtain the tom riddles diary Horcrux and make Dumbledoreaware of Horcruxes,

but also rescue Sirius Black and save him from further imprisonment—truly killing two birds with one stone!

Voldemort truly had good luck; after being casually discarded by one servant, he could actually encounter another!

With such a lucky Voldemort, the soul crystal made from his soul must be of very high quality!

Levi held the Marauder's Map and rushed excitedly toward the Headmaster's office in the castle, thinking with immense excitement.

His good teacher Voldemort, even when half-dead, could still contribute strength to him; it really moved him to tears!

However, when Levi arrived at the Headmaster's office, the Gargoyle at the door told him the Headmaster was not in the office!

"...Then where did he go?"

Unwilling to give up, Levi searched the entire school and finally had to ask Professor McGonagall.

"That is not your concern. Return to your common room immediately!"

Before Levi could get an answer, Professor Snape jumped out and said ominously:

"Instead of being a school detective, you should be more careful about your own life. You-Know-Who's henchman..."

"Severus," Professor McGonagall cut Professor Snape off with a cold voice.

You-Know-Who's henchman?

Levi was stunned upon hearing this. Had Peter Pettigrew's identity been exposed?

Or did the Professors think the attack Dobby the House-elflaunched on Harry Potter was the work of Voldemort's followers?

Things were truly getting more and more complicated!

Chapter 238: Major News

In the end, Levi failed to learn Headmaster Dumbledore's whereabouts from Professor McGonagall and Professor Snape.

He was sent back to the Ravenclaw common room again and didn't see Harley and the others until dinner time.

"Levi, I know who attacked me! During the holidays..."

Harry Potter approached Levi and took the initiative to talk about the incident during the holidays when Dobby the House-elf came to find him.

"Why didn't you tell me? Harley, that's just too dangerous!"

"Wizards have said that if a House-elf hasn't received orders but instead thinks they're doing something for your own good, you'd better be careful!"

Ron said in shock from the side after hearing Harry Potter's words.

During the holidays, he and his two older brothers had driven the flying car to pick up Harley and take him to stay at his home, The Burrow.

However, he hadn't known that Harry Potter had been given a hard time by Dobby the House-elf, who tried to block him from going to school.

"Now that you mention it, I think the reason the two of us couldn't get into the station and were forced to drive the car to school must also be because of Dobby's interference!"

"Could the attacks in school also be his doing?"

"Merlin, whose elf is this? How dare it turn against its master!"

Ron said in astonishment; even though the Weasleys didn't have an elf, as a well-informed old hand in the Wizarding World, he understood creatures like House-elves very well.

In his view, Dobby the House-elf was quite insane and clearly out of his master's control, acting on his own initiative—it was too dangerous!

Hermione nodded, but she didn't entirely agree with Ron Weasley's words. She thought for a moment and countered:

"I actually don't think the attacks on the ghosts in school were done by Dobby the House-elf!"

"On the contrary, he clearly knows something about these attacks, which is why he suddenly appeared during the holidays to stop Harley from coming to Hogwarts!"

"It's just that this House-elf is indeed a bit crazy, and the methods he used were too extreme!"

Levi nodded along with Hermione's words. little witchHermione's wisdom could never be underestimated; she had easily deduced the correct answer!

"The situation is quite clear now, Harley!"

"Dobby the House-elf must know what's going to happen at school, which is why he tried to stop you from coming here during the holidays!"

"Next, as long as we catch this House-elf, we can figure out exactly what's happening at school!"

"What exactly is the source of the danger?"

Levi explained the course of action to the trio of Harry Potter and his friends.

Although he had already guessed the truth and was prepared to take The Marauders map to find Dumbledore, this didn't stop him from involving Harley and the others to solve the matter together.

Training Harley and cultivating his means of dealing with Dark Wizards and terrifying magic had always been part of his agreement with Headmaster Dumbledore.

"I understand, Levi," Harley said, taking a deep breath with a determined look in his eyes.

He was now actually looking forward to Dobby the House-elf appearing suddenly. When that happened, as long as he questioned or caught him, he could find out what danger was in the castle and who had launched the previous attacks!

While they were talking, the sound of owls flapping their wings suddenly came from outside the Great Hall. A swarm of owls carrying the latest edition of The Daily Prophet landed in front of their respective owners!

"Merlin, someone has actually escaped from prison again!"

A young wizard who was the first to get The Daily Prophetshrieked.

Levi also took the newspaper from Rowlet's talons and saw the front-page headline reading:

[Azkaban FIEND ESCAPES! MURDERER Sirius BlackMAKES FRANTIC BREAKOUT, TARGETING Hogwarts!]

I, Rita Skeeter, with a trembling and indignant pen, sound the alarm for all Wizards in Britain—

The man with blood-stained hands, cold and ruthless, known as Voldemort's most loyal lapdog—Sirius Black—has escaped from the cages of Azkaban.

Do you still remember that bloody night twelve years ago?

On a Muggle street, a loud explosion reduced an alley to ruins, and thirteen innocent lives were lost on the spot. All of this came from Black's sin-stained wand.

He personally betrayed the Potter family, pushing them toward death, and then brutally murdered the loyal Peter Pettigrew. Everyone in the wizarding world calls him a madman, a butcher, and a remnant of the Dark Lord.

No one expected that Azkaban, guarded day and night by Dementors and claimed to be impregnable, would have a breach torn through it so easily by him.

According to reliable internal sources (I guarantee this on my reputation as a journalist, the source is absolutely private and authentic), Black had long since lost his mind in prison, muttering to himself all day, repeating only one sentence:

"He's at Hogwarts... He's at Hogwarts..."

Who is this "he"?

The answer is already obvious—

Harry Potter.

The Boy Who Lived is currently attending Hogwarts.

And Black, once the Potter family's "best friend," is now like a bloodthirsty mad dog lurking in the darkness, prepared to finish the business Voldemort left incomplete years ago.

The Ministry of Magic has issued the highest level of alert.

Minister Fudge revealed to me with a solemn expression: Black is extremely dangerous, extremely cunning, and extremely cold-blooded. He can disguise himself, launch sneak attacks, and will not hesitate to cast the Killing Curse on you.

Any Wizard, regardless of age or gender, should they encounter him, must not talk, must not approach, and must not attempt capture—the only thing you can do is immediately, instantly, run to find an Auror!

Hogwarts has been locked down in layers, and Headmaster Dumbledore has increased security, but who can guarantee that the monster that ran out of Azkabanwon't quietly slip into the castle?

Children, please lock your dormitory doors at night.

Parents, watch over your young wizards.

This is no ordinary fugitive; this is a life-claiming ghost crawling back from hell.

Sirius Black is on the prowl.

And his next prey might be right beside you.

—This paper will continue to track the story and bring you the first-hand truth.

Exclusive report by Rita Skeeter

After Levi, Hermione, and Ron finished reading the entire report, they didn't even have time to be shocked; instead, they nervously turned their gazes toward Harry Potter.

In Harley's emerald green eyes, bloodshot veins had already surfaced due to anger. For the first time, he learned that his parents' deaths weren't just because of Voldemort, but also because of the betrayal of his parents' good friend!

Sirius Black!

He had betrayed his father and mother, and even killed Peter Pettigrew, and now he was coming for him!

Harley's face broke into a smile of extreme rage, and he couldn't help but show a hint of murderous excitement!

Great, he's coming for me!

I will avenge my parents with my own hands!

Only one thought remained in Harry Potter's mind: to kill Sirius Black with his own hands and avenge his parents!

Seeing Harley like this, Levi couldn't help but sigh inwardly. I knew it!

He suddenly remembered the Hero King Game Championship held at the end of last term. Ron, as the Champion of the competition, had been interviewed and reported on while carrying his rat, Scabbers.

Because there had been no news of an escape from Azkaban, Levi had thought that the newspaper reporting Ron's victory hadn't been seen by Sirius Black in prison!

Now it seemed that the old newspaper with the image of Scabbers the rat had ultimately been brought into Azkabanand seen by Sirius Black!

As the true traitor who betrayed the Potter couple, Peter Pettigrew's Animagus form was recognized by Sirius Blackat a glance!

This awkward fellow, who had chosen to go to prison for self-punishment, had escaped because of this!

Sometimes, Levi really wondered if there was something wrong with the brains of Sirius Black, Potter, and the others?

When choosing a Secret-Keeper, they actually chose the cowering, cowardly, rat-like Peter Pettigrew!

After being sold out by him, when Sirius went for revenge, he was unwilling to speak the truth, leading to his own imprisonment while Peter Pettigrew gained the reputation of a hero!

If the brains of the four Marauders were cracked open by a Swooping Evil, it would probably fly away in disappointment!

"Harley, what are you doing? Don't be impulsive!"

Ron looked worriedly at Harry Potter, who was both excited and angry, yet lacked any fear.

He had also read the report in The Daily Prophet and could imagine how angry and sad Harley must be right now!

He was worried that his good friend Harley would do something foolish, like actively searching for Sirius Black to seek personal revenge!

How could Harley possibly be a match for Sirius Black? When that guy killed Peter Pettigrew, he also killed a full twelve Muggles and blew up an entire street!

"Ron, he's coming for me, right? He's looking for me, right?"

Harley stood up abruptly. In his vengeful state, he paced back and forth in front of the three of them, his wandgripped tightly in his hand as if ready for revenge at any moment.

Ron's face instantly turned pale with fear. The thing he worried about most had happened: Harley definitely wanted to find Sirius Black for revenge!

What should he do?

He cast a furtive glance at Levi and Hermione, seeking a solution from them.

What can I do? These are all the sins of the father's generation!

Receiving Ron's pleading look, Levi was also at his wit's end. Even if he spoke the whole truth now, it would be hard to convince Harry Potter without evidence.

Even if Harry Potter believed him, without evidence and without catching the supposedly dead Peter Pettigrew, he couldn't save Sirius Black!

Truly, with James Potter dead, I have no heart left to explain the rights and wrongs!

Levi sighed in his heart, suddenly understanding why Sirius Black, who was intent on revenge, didn't explain to others that it was Peter Pettigrew who betrayed the Pottercouple.

"We have to believe the Professors will protect Harley!"

"But Ron, from now on you must stay with Harley. Don't give Harley a chance to leave the castle, and certainly don't give Sirius Black a chance to find Harley alone!"

Hermione, having received Ron's pleading look, whispered to Levi and Ron.

She also hadn't expected that so many things would happen in the castle right after Halloween!

However, Levi felt that things weren't that complicated. The root of everything lay with Ron's pet, Scabbers the rat—or rather, Peter Pettigrew.

As long as he caught this rat with Dumbledore and then forced it out of its Animagus transformation...

He could prove to the public that this "hero" who was supposed to be dead was actually alive!

By using Veritaserum to make Peter Pettigrew tell the truth, not only could Sirius Black's name be cleared, but they could also follow the clues to find Tom Riddle's diary!

If they also caught Dobby the House-elf and linked it to Lucius Malfoy, they might even send that fence-sitting Death Eater to Azkaban!

The root of everything was Peter Pettigrew!

Holding The Marauders map, Levi could certainly catch Peter Pettigrew by himself now!

But to solve everything easily, Levi felt it was best for him to act together with Headmaster Dumbledore!

Let Old Dumbledore witness the injustice within the Order of the Phoenix with his own eyes. Leveraging Old Dumbledore's connections and influence in the Wizarding World, clearing Sirius Black's name would be easy!

More importantly, he could also let Dumbledore personally find the Horcrux that was Tom Riddle's diary from Peter Pettigrew's person.

Knowing the existence of Horcruxes, he could then set about dealing with Voldemort's Horcruxes with Old Dumbledore.

Without the Horcruxes acting as revival vessels, whether it was Levi, Old Dumbledore, or Harry Potter, they could all finish off Voldemort.

Old Dumbledore, please come back quickly!

Levi muttered in his heart. He sometimes noticed that Grindelwald, under the alias Gellert von Vitez, would pay extra attention to him.

He didn't know why this Dark Lord was paying so much attention to him.

It couldn't be that he wanted to take him under his wing as a henchman, right!

Without Old Dumbledore acting as a protective umbrella in the castle, even Levi couldn't help but feel a bit apprehensive when facing Grindelwald, wondering what that guy wanted by constantly looking at him.

Fortunately, the next morning, Dumbledore's figure appeared in the head table's seat. Besides him, there was also a cold-looking Wizard whose style was very similar to a Vampire.

While Levi was observing the staff table, this cold Wizardwas also scanning the students and faculty of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with a scrutinizing gaze.

"Everyone, before breakfast, I have an announcement to make!"

Dumbledore rose from the Headmaster's golden chair and stood before the podium, saying:

"I assume you have all noticed the news reports. Sirius Black has escaped from prison and is likely coming for someone in the castle!"

"I hope all students will remain vigilant and not leave the school grounds at will, to prevent attacks from Dementors or Sirius Black!"

"Additionally, because Dementors are patrolling the school's perimeter, the weekend trips to Hogsmeade Village for third-year students and above are temporarily canceled!"

As soon as Headmaster Dumbledore's decision was announced, the long tables of the four houses immediately broke out into boos!

For the young wizards, things like danger or Dementors didn't feel real at all, but not being able to go to Hogsmeade Village on weekends was a tangible loss of benefit!

"Alright, everyone, this is for your own safety!"

"Next, please be quiet and listen to Mr. Rufus Scrimgeour, Head of the Auror Office from the Ministry of Magic, regarding matters that require attention!"

Headmaster Dumbledore said, leading the applause.

Immediately after, the cold middle-aged Wizard who had been scrutinizing Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry stood up and briefly stated the Ministry of Magic's decision.

Excellent, the Head of the Auror Office from the Ministry of Magic is also here. With him and Dumbledore, if Peter Pettigrew can be formally captured in front of them, all problems will be solved!

Levi looked at the cold and serious Rufus Scrimgeour, thinking excitedly that he planned to solve all this academic year's troubles in one go today!

Chapter 239: Second Year Speedrun

After the morning meeting in the Great Hall, Levi didn't bother going to class. He went straight to Headmaster Dumbledore and Rufus Scrimgeour, the Head of the AurorOffice.

"Headmaster, I've read the news and looked into some secrets. Back then, Peter Pettigrew, Sirius Black, James Potter, and Remus Lupin formed a group called the Marauders, right?"

"They used to be good friends, didn't they?"

Dumbledore, being stopped, found it very strange. Why was Levi asking this?

Could it be that he was angry about Sirius Black's betrayal, had doubts about friendship in his heart, and was here on Harley's behalf to seek answers?

"That's right, child! They were indeed friends, but Sirius Black chose betrayal. He sold their whereabouts to You-Know-Who, and even killed Peter Pettigrew, along with twelve Muggles, blowing up a street!"

Before Headmaster Dumbledore could answer, Scrimgeour spoke to Levi with a serious expression:

"However, do not worry about safety. Dementors are guarding all school entrances. The Ministry of Magic will surely bring that damned escaped convict to justice and end his wicked life with a Dementor's Kiss!"

"Rufus, don't tell a young wizard such terrifying things," Headmaster Dumbledore frowned upon hearing this, then turned to Levi curiously. "Levi, what are you trying to say by asking this?"

In front of Headmaster Dumbledore and the Head of the Auror Office, Levi revealed the truth with great excitement:

"I just want to confirm with you, were the codenames of the Marauders quartet: James Potter—Prongs, Sirius Black—Padfoot, Remus Lupin—Moony, and Peter Pettigrew—Wormtail?"

Dumbledore became even more confused upon hearing Levi's words, vaguely realizing that a hidden truth was about to come to light today!

"I discovered that Wormtail, which is Peter Pettigrew, isn't dead. His name appeared on this Marauder's Map!"

Levi finally said what needed to be said!

Headmaster Dumbledore and Rufus Scrimgeour, the Head of the Auror Office, couldn't help but look at each other in shock!

With a loud "Bang!"

The door to the Gryffindor second-year boys' dormitory was kicked open!

Harley, Ron, and the other boys were all in class. Peter Pettigrew, who was groggy from having his life force drained by the diary, was startled awake, his heart pounding as he opened his eyes.

What's going on? What are those brats up to now?

Peter Pettigrew, maintaining his Animagus form as Scabbers the rat, cursed inwardly.

And his master, Voldemort—why couldn't he show some pity?

By absorbing so much life, he felt as if his own lifespan was being shortened!

Just as he was thinking this, Peter Pettigrew opened his eyes, only to find that the ones who had burst into the boys' dormitory were the terrifying Headmaster Dumbledore, Professor Snape, Professor McGonagall, and others!

Merlin's beard, what's happening?

Could it be that the things he and his master, Voldemort, had done were exposed!

Impossible, absolutely impossible. If it were exposed, they would have come for him long ago!

Calm down, Peter, calm down!

Peter Pettigrew screamed frantically in his mind. The rat's paws were shaking on the bed, and he was so scared he was about to wet himself!

But just as he was hesitating between fleeing and revealing himself to beg for mercy, he was stunned to find an ancient and majestic spell hit him:

"Revelio!"

Peter Pettigrew's Animagus form was instantly broken by Dumbledore's magic!

A short, plump, filthy wizard with a face full of shock and terror, looking like a rat with buckteeth, appeared before everyone!

"Squeak!"

A piercing, rat-like scream erupted from Peter Pettigrew's mouth. Subconsciously unwilling to accept the reality of his exposure, he scrambled across the bed on all fours, trying to escape.

"Incarcerous!"

Levi immediately cast a spell on him, then turned to Professor Snape, whose face was extremely grim, and said urgently:

"Professor, where is the Veritaserum you carry? Quick, give him three drops!"

But the only response Levi got was Professor Snape's murderous gaze and a terrifying curse that struck Peter Pettigrew!

"Aargh—Squeak!"

The short, ugly, and filthy Peter Pettigrew stiffened completely as Professor Snape's Cruciatus Curse hit him!

The intense pain made his body go rigid. After letting out a scream, he lay twitching on the bed!

"Severus Snape! What have you done?! You dare to use an Unforgivable Curse in public! Do you want to go to Azkaban?"

Rufus Scrimgeour, the Head of the Auror Office, had a look of pure rage on his gloomy, cold face.

Although he didn't look like a good man—resembling a Vampire—as the Head of the Auror Office, he was a man who truly stood for justice!

In the original story, when Voldemort was resurrected and Fudge stepped down after facing reality, Scrimgeour, as a hardliner, was promoted to Minister for Magic.

Because he insisted on resisting Voldemort, refused to collaborate, and wouldn't reveal Harry Potter's whereabouts, he was brutally murdered!

Now, Snape had used an Unforgivable Curse right in front of him. Regardless of whether the victim, Peter Pettigrew, deserved it, in his eyes, Snape was unforgivable!

Dumbledore's expression was grim to the extreme; he undoubtedly realized this as well.

He was especially annoyed when he saw Grindelwaldleaning against the doorframe of the dormitory with a face full of schadenfreude.

"Rufus, Severus was simply overcome with righteous indignation and lost his reason for a moment. Let's go to my office to talk, shall we?"

Dumbledore waved the Elder Wand. The bedsheet under the rigid Peter Pettigrew twitched, and he fashioned a rat cage, locking Peter inside.

Beautiful magic! Levi's eyes widened as he watched this. In the process of turning the sheet into a cage, Peter Pettigrew was also turned back into a rat.

Headmaster Dumbledore truly lived up to his title as a master of Transfiguration. Object transformation and human transformation were performed simultaneously; everything in his hands seemed to move according to his will!

Even with Levi's level of Transfiguration, he couldn't achieve such effortless ease.

"I... he..." Scrimgeour hesitated, his face grim. He glanced at Peter Pettigrew, who was held by Dumbledore, then at Professor Snape, Professor McGonagall, and the others.

Hogwarts was, after all, Scrimgeour's alma mater, and Albus's character and influence were obvious to all.

Especially Peter Pettigrew—this guy wasn't dead, but had been hiding as a rat for all these years.

This meant that Sirius Black might very well have been framed, and there was more to the story!

As the Head of the Auror Office under the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, what he should do now was get to the truth, see the guilty punished, and clear the names of the innocent!

"Fine, Albus, let's go to your office to talk!"

The tough Scrimgeour finally chose to compromise!

He gave Professor Snape a harsh glare before being the first to walk out of the boys' dormitory, heading straight for the Headmaster's Office.

Headmaster Dumbledore breathed a sigh of relief, glared at Professor Snape, and then, carrying the rat cage containing Peter Pettigrew, forced a smile and said to Levi:

"Child, thank you for your reminder and information. You have helped right a great wrong!"

"And you've reminded this old fool that I got some things wrong back then!"

Levi stole a glance at Professor Snape. A trace of awkward gratitude actually flickered on the Old Bat's face, as if he were thanking him for catching the person who truly betrayed Lady Lily.

"...So Peter Pettigrew is the traitor, the one who tipped off You-Know-Who back then, right?"

Levi asked tentatively. He knew exactly what was going on, of course, but he wanted to establish the facts now.

The people around him fell silent. They had all realized this. If Peter Pettigrew wasn't the informant, why had he been hiding all these years?

It surely wasn't out of fear of retaliation from Sirius Black, a "Death Eater" who had been in prison for over a decade, that he didn't dare show himself!

"We will give the world the truth!"

Dumbledore was silent for a long time before he could only manage that one sentence. Levi clearly saw a mocking smile on Grindelwald's face!

To this, he could only say: Sirius Black, look at how many people you've screwed over!

The Professors all followed Headmaster Dumbledore out of the dormitory. The last to leave—Grindelwald, Professor McGonagall, and Professor Flitwick—all gave Levi a simultaneous smile of relief and encouragement.

Once the Professors had left, Levi's eyes immediately entered Source View, scanning the entire boys' dormitory.

Since Peter Pettigrew was here, the Horcrux, Tom Riddle's Diary, must also be here!

Under Source View, as long as he found a concentration of magic carrying Voldemort's soul symbol, it would undoubtedly be the Horcrux!

Levi's eyes went vacant as his gaze swept across the room. Under Source View, everything lost its physical form, leaving only lines and symbols of magic!

Found it!

Just as Levi expected, he found a worn diary in a hidden spot under Ron's bed.

Under Source View, the diary emitted an extremely dense dark magic. A fragmented, filthy soul—the soul symbol of that aura—was howling like a vengeful spirit!

No matter how cunning you are, you've still ended up in my hands, little Tom. Heh heh heh!

Levi chuckled like a villain, and with a flick of his hand, he produced a sealed stone box, placed the diary inside, and stored it in the Spatial MOD storage space.

Having found Tom Riddle's Diary, Levi followed the Professors out of the Gryffindor common room and toward the Headmaster's Office.

As the informant who provided the key clue, he had to keep a close eye on the development of events and, at the critical moment, present Tom Riddle's Diary as a Horcruxto Headmaster Dumbledore.

Once Headmaster Dumbledore knew about the existence of Horcruxes, Voldemort would be as good as dead!

In the Headmaster's Office, because testimony obtained through Veritaserum couldn't be used as evidence in court, Headmaster Dumbledore personally questioned Peter Pettigrew, with Scrimgeour acting as a witness.

In front of Dumbledore, Peter Pettigrew didn't dare hide a thing.

Even though he already knew about the existence of the Horcrux, and even though he had previously been controlled by the Horcrux that was Tom Riddle's Diary, he had to tell the truth.

"...I... what could I do?"

"I was scared, Professor Dumbledore... I was never brave like them... I wasn't forced, I went to him myself... I wanted to live..."

"I was terrified. If You-Know-Who came looking for me, I'd be dead!"

"So..."

Peter Pettigrew confessed voluntarily. His cowering, shifting expression and timid eyes made him look exactly like the fat rat he once was!

However, he didn't say a single word about Tom Riddle's Diary, and even took the initiative to take responsibility for the attacks on the ghosts in the castle.

That dead rat—he's certainly loyal enough!

Levi, who had already found the diary Horcrux, thought resentfully as he watched Peter Pettigrew's evasive eyes.

However, he didn't publicly reveal that Peter was hiding the diary on the spot.

The matter of Horcruxes concerned the possibility of completely ending Voldemort. It was a grave matter, and Levi only dared to discuss it privately with Headmaster Dumbledore.

With so many people around now, he absolutely couldn't say it immediately.

Furthermore, Levi was very curious. Headmaster Dumbledore, Professor Snape, and even Scrimgeour might be masters of Legilimency.

Could they read this from Peter Pettigrew's mind?

But on second thought, even a seventeen-year-old Tom Riddle was still Voldemort; he couldn't have failed to consider this.

When he was controlling Peter Pettigrew to commit the crimes, he probably took measures to ensure that no one could easily read his existence as a Horcrux!

Sure enough, when the entire interrogation ended and Headmaster Dumbledore, Scrimgeour, and the others prepared to call Minister Fudge to exonerate Sirius Black, none of them had detected the matter of the Horcrux.

Should I find a spare moment now to talk to Headmaster Dumbledore alone?

Levi thought with some hesitation.

The Horcrux that was Tom Riddle's Diary was a bit special!

Perhaps because it was his first time making a Horcrux and he was a bit out of practice, Voldemort hadn't just left a small fragment of his soul in it.

He had also left behind the memories of the young Tom Riddle after he entered the Chamber of Secrets, specifically regarding his research into the Slytherinbloodline.

When Levi had entered the Chamber of Secrets to subdue the Basilisk, he hadn't found any knowledge left behind by Slytherin.

He had complained at the time that he was too late, and that successive generations of Slytherin descendants had already scoured the Chamber of Secrets clean!

Especially that schemer Voldemort, who had picked the place clean, leaving nothing for Levi.

Now, with Tom Riddle's Diary in hand, Levi couldn't help but consider the idea of searching Voldemort's soul to check the bloodline research knowledge left by Slytherin!

The Basilisk, combined with Slytherin's bloodline research, was the key clue for changing classes to a Blood Mage!

Chapter 240: Operation Catch the Dog

Between tomorrow and the unexpected, one never knows which will come first!

Harry Potter felt that the shifting tides of fate were exactly like this; just this morning, he had steeled his resolve to fight a duel to the death with the traitor who sold out his parents!

By noon, he was told that his godfather, Sirius Black, had actually been framed.

The real culprit had already been reported by Levi Keynesand was captured personally by Headmaster Dumbledoreand the Professors in the boys' dormitory!

*Gag*—

Intense horror and nausea caused Ron Weasley, who was sitting next to Harry Potter, to gag out loud!

"Levi, are you saying that for all these years, Percy and Ronhave been sleeping in the same room as Peter Pettigrew?"

"They've been living day and night with Scabbers the rat, and Scabbers is actually Peter Pettigrew's Animagusform!"

Harley and Hermione asked Levi in utter shock, wanting to confirm the news they had heard once more.

This was simply too unbelievable!

The two of them, along with most people, found it hard to believe that a Wizard could actually disguise himself as a rat for so many years!

Hearing Harley and Hermione's questions, both the vomiting Ron and the pale-faced Percy saw their symptoms worsen!

"It's very difficult for a rat to live for over ten years, even if it's a pet in the wizarding world. Unfortunately, the Weasleys didn't realize this!"

Levi could only shrug helplessly like a little bear.

To be honest, if he weren't a Transmigrator who had read the original books, he wouldn't have been able to imagine someone disguising themselves as a rat for over a decade!

He could only say that magic was truly miraculous!

Harley's expression shifted, his heart filled with complex emotions; his arch-enemy had suddenly become his closest living relative, his godfather!

The 'hero' who had supposedly sacrificed himself in others' accounts turned out to be the traitor once the truth came to light!

Things had changed so quickly that he couldn't process it for a moment. The killing intent he had suppressed this morning felt frustrated, with no way to vent it.

But this is a good thing after all, isn't it?

Harry Potter thought with a heart full of joy.

His godfather's name had been cleared. Once he was exonerated and released, wouldn't he have one more family member? He wouldn't even need to return to Uncle Vernon's house during the holidays or face that family that hated the sight of him.

"I could probably live with my godfather. Even if I lived in a doghouse with my godfather Sirius, I'd be happy!"

Harry Potter thought excitedly, suddenly filled with longing for Sirius Black, imagining the days of living together.

In the afternoon, the young wizards who had no classes indeed saw Minister Fudge of the Ministry of Magicarriving at Hogwarts with a team of Aurors.

No one knew what Headmaster Dumbledore said to this cowardly Minister of magic, but when Fudge left, he looked smug and full of smiles, escorting Peter Pettigrew away from the school.

The next day, a notice was posted in the school announcing that the Dementors guarding the school perimeter had been withdrawn!

"It's a pity we didn't even get to see what a Dementorlooks like before they were removed!"

Some 'brave' young wizards said with faces full of regret.

"You wouldn't want to face a Dementor. Those monsters leave people with nothing but nightmares and cold despair!"

young wizards who knew something about Dementors or had even seen them let out a sigh of relief instead.

Levi actually felt it was a pity. If he could have made contact with a Dementor, he might have been able to unlock a new reward in the Bestiary.

It would have been even better if he could catch a Dementor and lock it in the Bestiary's small world for research.

Considering that the escaped Sirius Black had been exonerated but didn't know it yet...

The Ministry of Magic published the news of Sirius Black's rehabilitation in The Daily Prophet, announcing that they would no longer hunt him.

But even so, the entire wizarding world waited for several days without any news of Sirius Black showing himself.

A certain big black dog lurking near Hogsmeade Villagelistened to the discussions of passing Wizards and snorted inwardly:

"The Ministry Aurors really have come up with every trick in the book to catch me!"

"They even made up such a story to lure me out!"

In fact, Sirius Black was also somewhat hesitant, because in his heart, he felt as if he really had been exonerated, and that damn fellow Peter Pettigrew really had been caught by the Ministry Aurors!

But he was also worried about being deceived and missing this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for revenge!

If it were a trap and he was caught and sent back to Azkaban, he would truly have no chance left for vengeance!

"I can't expose myself. I have to break into Hogwarts first to scout the situation!"

Sirius Black thought to himself.

Ron had been quite happy these past few days. The matter of Peter Pettigrew had become common knowledge, known to almost the entire British wizarding world.

His parents, Mrs. Molly and Mr. Arthur, even wrote a special letter to apologize to him and Percy, saying they shouldn't have tried to save money by letting that rat stay with them for so long.

It was terrifying to think about; if Peter Pettigrew had harbored ill intentions, he could have taken Percy and Ron's lives at any time!

Mrs. Molly and Mr. Arthur also promised Ron that they would give him a new pet for Christmas as a gift and compensation.

Because he was full of anticipation for the gift, Ron's mood had been extremely good lately, and at night he was as happy as if he'd eaten honey-coated dung!

In the middle of the night, Ron was having a beautiful dream and sleeping soundly when he suddenly felt the quilt on his body being pulled down by a large hand.

He opened his eyes and saw a shadowy black figure in the dim room, staring intently at him with eerie green eyes in the darkness!

"Ghost!"

Ron let out an ear-piercing scream, startling Harley and the others in the same dormitory!

It woke up the students of the entire Gryffindor House!

"It must be Sirius Black! Everyone, search for him and tell him that Peter Pettigrew has been caught and he has been exonerated!"

Professor McGonagall, who hurried over upon hearing the news, immediately mobilized the students of the entire house to find Sirius Black.

Not just the Gryffindors, but students from the other three houses also came after hearing the news, following the Gryffindor young wizards to excitedly search the entire school for Sirius Black!

Not sleeping in the middle of the night—this was a school-sanctioned night-roaming operation!

"Sirius's Animagus form is a big black dog!"

Before the young wizards could notice any clues left by Sirius Black, Professor McGonagall, as the Transfiguration Class Professor, provided the key lead.

Operation Catch the Dog officially commenced. Every corner of Hogwarts Castle was turned over by the young wizards; even dog bowls turned upside down on the ground were drawn in to help find Sirius Black's hiding place.

"Come out, Sirius Black! You've been exonerated! You were framed!"

Some young wizards shouted at the top of their lungs throughout the castle, the excited smiles on their faces directly waking up the grim-faced Old Bat, Snape.

"What's with all the shouting, you damn big dog!"

Snape slammed his office door shut with a 'bang.' In his view, whether it was Peter Pettigrew or Sirius Black, neither was a good person!

It was just a matter of one deserving death and the other's crimes not quite reaching that level!
