The mine was as bright as day, there were also other miners and knights giving orders and keeping everyone in check.
As soon as he started working, slowly hitting the rocks with the pickaxe, the knight walked away and joined the others who were drinking at a corner.

Bell minded his business and slowly starting to break the rocks. He didn't know how to mine, he'd never done anything like it in his previous life but he's mined in video games, a lot, how hard can it be?.

"Gahh..." Bell fell on the ground. "I've never been more tired in my life. I've been hitting the same rock for what felt like a whole day but nothing happened"

**THUD**
Bell heard a sound, it was coming from the other side of the mine. He sat up as he looked at the direction of the thud, most of the miners were gathered at the edge of the platform, at first he thought they were just taking a break till he heard one of them say something.
"H-he fell down!"
One of them said, making Bell to quickly stand up and walked towards the miners. More came to the edge, looking down at the abyss.
"No, he didn't. I saw something pulling him!"
"I think there is a monster here!, Let's get out while we can!"
The knights soon noticed the commotion and intervene.
"What is going on!?," The knight, who has previously ordered Bell to his station, asked. He was clad in a gold armour, with similar design as Daria but his was bulky. "Why aren't you on your work station!?"
"How can we work when there is a monster hunting us on by one?!!!" One of the miners yelled.
Bell quickly pushed his way to the front, he was finally in front of the crowd as the knights walked to the edge of the abyss and looked down, while the rest of the knights tried to calm the miners.
"There's nothing here sir" the lower ranked knight in a bronze armor informed the higher rank Knight in a golden armor.
"You see?, It's just your imagination" The golden armored Knight said with a smile. "There is nothing he..."
"Arghh!!"
Everybody eyes widened in shock as they watched the bronze armoured knight being pulled down.
"It's, it's a monster!" A miner yelled as he push one of his co-workers and headed towards the bridge.
Before the knight in a golden armour could react, he started coughing out blood. A giant spider had pierced through his stomach, breaking his armor in the process.
Bell eyes widened from shock as he slowly walked back, the others were also shocked.
"W-what is that?" An elderly man shakenly and pointed above them.
Bell cautiously raised my head upwards.
"I-it's a spider monster!!!" Another miner yelled and everyone started running.
The monster looked exactly like a spider but it was a lot bigger. It stood about ten feet tall and thirteen feet wide, it body was designed in a mixed colours of white and black, blue stripes pattern went from it's head to it's thorax, it's eyes glowing red as green fluid slowly dripped down from it's maw.
The monster stood upside-down on the ceiling, it webs were used to hold all it's captive that it had successfully tied up with it's strings.
With his heart pounding against his chest, Bell tried to run but fell down. His legs didn't want to move, his body became numb with shock.
"Ahhh!!!!, wahhh!!!" a teenager yelled as a smaller spider jumped on his shoulder and bit his neck.
He struggled as the spider venom flows into his body before falling to the ground, after witnessing that, Bell suddenly gained control over his body. He stood up quickly and dashed towards the mineshafts, pushing his way through the crowd.
More smaller sized spiders appeared out of nowhere and started tearing up any they could get their hairy legs on and chew some parts before throwing away the rest.
Bell and the rest of the miner finally stopped at the abyss that lead to the tunnel and outside the mine but the bridge was gone, leaving them without any way to escape.
"What are we going to do?!!!"
"The monster most has destroy the bridge!!!"
"We're all going to die!!!"
As the miners began to panic, the surviving knights - about five of them - stood between them and the spiders.
"Alright men, ready your weapon!" A knight with a sliver armor ordered. "It's our job to protect the miners"
Slowly, the rest knights who were panicking came to a resolve and unsheathed their swords. The knights charged at the monsters, using their swords, they were able to cut down the spiders but they kept coming more and more.
Not long during the battle the spiders began to retreat, with not even one of the knights injured, the miners began to cheer for them.
Bell let out a sigh of relief and sat on the ground. His heartbeat was finally calming down, he lets out a sigh before being interrupted by the system message.

Bell didn't even have enough time to read the message when the ground started to rumble.
"Sir!, There's something approaching!" A knight announced as if everyone wasn't feeling the rumbling.
"Just hold your ground, make sure nothing gets past us!" The knight in a sliver armour ordered.
The knight ready their weapons, waiting for whatever that was going to appear for the abyss.
*BOOM!!* *BOOM!!* *BOOM!!*
The footsteps was getting closer and closer till, suddenly, it was silent.
_I-it... stopped_
Suddenly, a giant spider pounced on the silver knight and sunk it's fangs through his armor, it's maw leaked out purple liquid and the knights body slowly melted as he screamed in anguish.
The knights quickly attacked the spider but suddenly, it was gone.
