*Knock* *knock* *knock*
*Bang*
Chuck shot up from his bed as the mild knocking sound he filtered out of his sleeping mind turned into a loud bang, making him think that he was under attack. The PTSD he got from the unfolding events made him unstable, wary, and anxious. He stepped down from his bed to see the being that had decided to interrupt his peaceful slumber.
The first thing that Chuck noticed was the fact that his room wasn't dark — it was bright, the beams of rays from the sun seeped in through the windows, increasing the temperature of Chuck's small room. He twisted the door knob, opening it carefully. When the door was wide enough for a human to fit through, Chuck saw a familiar figure force his way though.
"Hey Chucky, what's up?" Erik said with a beaming smile as he casually crashed on Chuck's bed.
