amidst the brewing chaos that unfolded right before the student's eyes, chuck got a system prompt, offering him a quest to defeat the beast before him. the quest seemed impossible, as chuck couldn't singlehandedly kill the beast. maybe with the combined effort of the whole cohort, chuck would be able to give the beast the final blow, completing the quest. chuck also couldn't ignore the quest, because completing it also meant that he would have settled his new daily quest of killing a living creature.
"i hope we make it out of this alive," chuck thought as he stared at the beast with his god eyes.
