Chapter 323 - Domination

Flying into the body of the manifested demon god, the two merged seamlessly, as if they had always been a single entity. Dealing with these two guys didn't require such a massive height, so Thea compressed all that power into detail instead of size. Every line and every muscle on the demon god's body was lifelike.

The manifested demon god's ten-meter-tall body took a step forward. The immense power caused the ground within half a kilometer to tremble.

"Roar—!" As if to vent the exhilaration in its chest, the demon god spread its arms and roared at the sky! Heatwaves expanded in all directions. The temperature on the square surged visibly; moisture in the air evaporated rapidly. A single breath filled your nose with the stench of burning sulfur. The hair of many unconscious citizens even began to curl.

"What is this?!!" Enchantress might simply have felt that it was powerful, but El Diablo—Chato Santana—felt it far more keenly. This was a high-ranking demon from Hell! He couldn't tell exactly how high, but judging from the way the demon inside him was trembling, it had to be near the top.

"I gave you a chance, and you threw it away! Who gave you the gall to play with fire in front of me? Let me show you what true Hellfire is!" Thea's voice came from the demon god's mouth. Her originally beautiful and crisp voice sounded like it had been sawed through; every word she spoke carried a harsh, hissing static.

"Fire Tornado!" The ferocious demon god hugged its arms together, gathering a large mass of emotional energy. Thea, whose mana had now greatly increased, injected massive amounts of Fire and Wind attribute mana into it. Injecting mana into the emotional energy mass was like throwing a match into a vat of oil. The two different attributes of mana instantly sent the energy surging out of control.

The demon god grinned, revealing a terrifying smile. With one hand loosely gripping the energy mass, it hurled it at the Enchantress, who couldn't move from her spot.

Seeming to want to intimidate them, Thea didn't throw it very fast. Upon contacting debris, the energy mass expanded violently and began to rotate at high speed. Debris on the square was sucked into the center of the vortex one after another, which in turn accelerated the formation of the fire tornado.

In less than three seconds, a fiery red tornado, a hundred meters high and over ten meters in diameter, had formed. As debris increased, the centrifugal force became greater and greater. The tornado's diameter grew to twenty meters, then thirty meters... expanding as if there were no end, it pounced toward the two.

"Quick, stop her! Attack her quickly!" Enchantress was becoming incoherent, her meaning garbled. Perhaps she didn't know what to do either.

The former gang member, Chato Santana, was much calmer than her. Secretly despising this relic of an African witch, he suppressed the demon inside his body that wanted to flee. Fire erupted from his eyes and mouth simultaneously. With a loud shout, he revealed a flame demon form over three meters tall. The demon clenched its fists and planted himself in front of Enchantress, as if he meant to tank the fire tornado by sheer strength.

"Fool!" Thea scoffed at his action. Just looking at his constantly leaking energy, she knew he hadn't studied this demon transformation at all. Wanting to carry the power of Hell with a mortal body? Keep dreaming. If it were that simple, why would ancient mages study magic? Why not just grab a demon and stuff it into their bodies?

Not only could this guy not control the overflowing energy, but he also wanted to use this transformation—whose combat power was dropping every second—to block a fire tornado? Thea didn't know what to say.

Let alone him, even Thea, the caster, couldn't control the fire tornado right now. Demon spells had always been like this; they never cared about consequences. Use as much power as available. As for environmental destruction and other issues? Those weren't in their dictionary at all.

The ignorant and fearless Chato Santana now stood bravely in front of a fiery red tornado hundreds of meters tall, its width stretching beyond the edge of his vision. At the critical moment, he suddenly realized a problem: school had never taught him how to stop a tornado...

It was too late to go back and ask his school teacher now. He could only plant his feet firmly on the ground, muster all his mana, and go head-to-head with the tornado.

Thea, manifesting Diablo, almost laughed out loud seeing this scene through the demon god's eyes. This guy assumed a posture of holding up the sky with both hands; no matter how she looked at it, he looked like a complete moron. It was simply the height of stupidity. Then, under her gloating gaze, Chato Santana was instantly swept inside. Not only did he fail to stop the tornado, but his continuously overflowing mana actually ended up feeding even more power into it.

Her reinforcement hadn't helped at all. Placed before Enchantress was a dilemma: abandon the citizens on the ground, or tough it out.

She made her decision quickly. She chose to tough it out. Using all her mana, she summoned a pitch-black tornado rotating in the opposite direction to Thea's, trying to bleed off some of its wind speed. Then, she set up three earth walls, ten meters high and over five meters thick, directly in the path of the tornado's invasion.

"Hmph. Looking down on me? Fine, let's do this the hard way." Thea didn't know why the opponent didn't teleport away but chose to tank it; this was very illogical.

Was it that this constitution-improving spell could only be used once, or was it her greed at work, not wanting to give up the blood essence already in hand? Thea didn't know, but she knew that if the opponent didn't run, she could switch to a more powerful move!

The manifested demon god took a deep breath. All the overflowing energy and emotion in the surrounding air were sucked in. Countless energies converged in its mouth. This time, Thea didn't hesitate; she added all four of her attributes—Light, Dark, Fire, and Wind—into the mix.

The demon god leaned back forcefully while absorbing energy, then thrust forward violently, spraying the energy gathered in its mouth out in a beam.

Alternating flashes of red and blue, a massive lightning bolt over two meters in diameter shot out fiercely. The attack speed this time was extremely fast, so fast that Enchantress was caught off guard. Even though it had been fired later, the Lightning Breath overtook the fire tornado and slammed straight into the earthen walls Enchantress had raised.

This move was a channeled skill, not a one-off deal. Thea continuously controlled the manifested demon god to add new energy into the Lightning Breath. The lightning beam struck Enchantress's earth wall; the first layer was pierced instantly.

Enchantress was greatly alarmed. She hurriedly poured mana frantically into the second wall, attempting to stabilize the defense line.

But Thea's total mana was stronger than hers, and she had the manifested demon god for control. One was focused, concentrated fire; the other was a broad, spread-out defense—it wasn't hard to see which would win. The second earth wall lasted less than ten seconds before being pierced again.

Enchantress didn't have time to be surprised because Thea suddenly exerted force again, attempting to take her down in one blow.

"I'll hold it; you shore up the defenses!" Chato Santana roared, still tumbling in the sky. Enchantress's reverse tornado had produced some effect; at least the suction had weakened considerably. Chato had used every ounce of his strength to finally break free. Since they were in the same boat, he saw Enchantress couldn't hold it and could only brace himself to take Thea's Lightning Breath head-on.
