Private Airport - 6:34 AM
The car pulled up to a private aviation terminal far from the main airport. Emily had never been to this facility....it catered exclusively to people wealthy enough to own or charter private jets.
Six figures in tactical gear waited near a sleek aircraft...the Shadow Valley operators. They looked professional, alert, and frankly terrifying. These weren't security guards. These were soldiers.
"Sister Emily, look!" Ming Li said excitedly. "Real operators! Shadow Valley's best! I trained with some of them! That's Kozlov....he can kill someone fifteen different ways with just his hands! And that's Chen...she's a sniper, can hit targets at fifteen hundred meters! And..."
"Maybe don't list everyone's kill skills right before we get on a plane with them," Emily suggested.
"But they're impressive skills!" Ming Li protested. "Sister Emily should know she's protected by the best!"
