"Phew, thank you, Beedrill." Alex Carter reacted at this moment, stroking Beedrill's head. Only then did he suddenly feel a cold sweat break out on his back.

"Strike first, Beedrill, Haunter, Muk, Double Team!" Alex shouted after steadying himself.

Suddenly, the entire field was filled with their figures. The three men saw this and angrily issued commands.

"Mightyena, Snarl!"

"Swoobat, Psychic!"

"Golbat, Air Slash!"

"Arbok, Slam!"

The battle was on the verge of breaking out, and the sounds of fighting on the field were incessant.

Alex sneered, "Hmph, even if I die today, I won't let you take advantage of me."

In this situation, anyone who dared to be distracted would attack with all their might. It was either you die or I die. Alex commanded with a stern face.

Even though Haunter, Muk, and Beedrill were all covered in wounds, he showed no sign of backing down. He understood that he had no retreat, and neither did Haunter and the others. This was the bond that existed between a Trainer and their Pokémon. When emotions were invested in each other, a chemical reaction would occur, creating more bonds.

Suddenly, the Swoobat's movement slowed. A murderous glint flashed in Alex's eyes. "Haunter! Dark Pulse!"

Haunter, hearing this, flashed behind the Swoobat under the cover of its Double Team, and a black light wave shot out from its mouth. This was a super effective type-advantage move. After an explosion in the air, the Swoobat fell to the ground, losing its ability to battle.

At the same time, Muk also took advantage of the chaos to go unnoticed, using Dig to defeat the Arbok.

At this moment, Alex looked at the Mightyena. This Mightyena was probably the strongest among these Pokémon. Not only was it agile, but it also possessed attack moves of multiple types. What was more, it perfectly countered Haunter's type.

"This kid is indeed strong enough. No wonder he aroused the apprehension of the higher-ups, who repeatedly emphasized him."

The three Team Rocket members in front of him exchanged glances, and the apprehension in their eyes grew even more intense. This was just a newcomer who had just started his journey, yet he was already this strong. Who knew what he would become in the future?

If at first, it was only to complete the mission from above, then now it was more than just completing the mission. This kid must die, and all future troubles must be eliminated.

"Mightyena! Howl, then use Sucker Punch!"

"Golbat! After Mean Look, use Aerial Ace!"

"Success or failure rests on this one move, Beedrill, Pin Missile! Haunter, Dark Pulse! Muk, Sludge Bomb!"

Haunter and the others heard this and attacked with all their might. After a tremendous roar, the smoke caused by the colliding attacks dispersed.

"How is it?" The three men looked coldly at the field. Beedrill lay on the ground, Haunter was sprawled nearby, and Muk was nowhere to be seen.

"Kid, your aptitude and strength are both very strong, but unfortunately, you ran into us."

They thought they had victory in their grasp, laughing heartily as they looked at Alex. With each step they took closer, Alex's face grew paler, as if he were truly terrified.

The thought of them completing their mission and working for that lord made them tremble with excitement. Because that was a symbol of status. What were Team Rocket, what was Team Plasma? Only that lord was the true king. By then, they would rise rapidly, and their strength would greatly increase.

At this moment, the leader suddenly stopped, his expression slightly changed. "Something's not right. This kid didn't show any fear even in such a critical situation just now, so why does he seem genuinely scared out of his wits now? I think something's off."

Alex's lips curled into a cold smile when he heard this. "Is it too late to realize it now? Haven't you noticed that Muk is gone?"

"Damn it! It's a trap!" Before the three could retreat, Muk suddenly burst out from underground, then leaped into the air, expanding its body to use Body Slam, directly taking them out.

Seeing this, Alex's tense expression finally relaxed. With a sudden release of tension, he couldn't help but feel dizzy and sat down on the ground. That battle just now had consumed too much mental energy, and everyone was injured.

"You all worked hard, Haunter, Beedrill, Muk!" Alex forced a smile and stroked the Pokémon that had come closer.

"Come back, you've all worked hard. Beedrill, Muk." After that, Alex slowly stood up.

Looking at the three unconscious people in front of him, a flicker of hesitation crossed Alex's eyes. Should he eliminate them or not? This hesitation did not last long. Alex's expression immediately changed, and a cold, sinister gaze emanated from his eyes.

A great man does not bother with trifles, especially one with his status. In this world, life withers at any time, and many organizations do bad things under the guise of justice. Alex couldn't stop this, but if someone dared to bully him, then he wouldn't be blamed for being ruthless.

Ever since he came to this world, under the system's intentional or unintentional guidance, and the incidents he experienced, Alex was gradually becoming ruthless.

Just as Alex was about to act, a sudden round of applause came from above.

"It's over!" Alex frowned and looked up.
