Facing the old butler's teasing gaze, Kyle's expression didn't change a bit.
That's right, he was just lusting after her body. He was a pervert.
He admitted it openly.
As for his own granddaughter and Kyle getting together, Alfred was happy to see it happen, so the old butler quickly withdrew that meaningful gaze.
"Catherine is currently with the family's business managers, learning how to handle affairs regarding the family assets," Alfred explained.
Kyle understood immediately.
The government affairs of Amegakure were also handled by Konan. It would be absolutely no problem for the Grindelwald family's assets to be managed by Catherine in the future.
Without Catherine there, this huge house was left with only three old men whose combined ages exceeded three hundred years, and a bunch of house-elves hiding who knows where.
Feeling bored, Kyle dove headfirst into the library.
He'd better seize the time to learn more magic and get stronger.
Otherwise, if he encountered any danger at Hogwarts next school year, he'd have to perform a strategic retreat while going to fetch reinforcements again.
At this rate, when would he be like Madara—the "Asura of the Ninja World"—and surround an allied army of tens of thousands of ninja all by himself?
During dinner, Kyle noticed that Dumbledore's long nose seemed even more crooked than before.
According to Grindelwald, Dumbledore's nose had been broken twice before.
So today... was it broken for a third time?
Kyle stole a glance at Grindelwald's nose; it was still straight. It looked like Grindelwald had won the Wizarding Boxing Championship held in Dorset.
Stopping his scrutiny of their noses, Kyle cast his gaze upon his Dark Lord father.
"Dad, I want to learn some new magic."
Grindelwald raised his eyebrows. "What do you want to learn?"
"Apparition," Kyle said fervently. "And some other high-power offensive magic."
"Of course, no problem." Grindelwald nodded.
Dumbledore gazed at Kyle, having no intention of stopping him.
Perhaps because of the two dangers Kyle had encountered previously, or perhaps because he had thought things through after taking a hard punch to the nose from Grindelwald that afternoon, Dumbledore felt that Kyle urgently needed to possess some power to protect himself.
Based on his observations over the past year or so, Dumbledore was not worried that Kyle would become a dark wizard who committed all manner of crimes like Voldemort after mastering powerful strength.
Kyle possessed everything Voldemort never had—family love, friendship, and even romantic love.
The way Hermione and Hannah looked at Kyle... Dumbledore believed he definitely wasn't seeing things wrong.
It really was enviable; becoming a winner in life at such a young age.
"Just high-power offensive magic isn't enough," Dumbledore spoke up voluntarily.
He held up his index finger. "A powerful wizard must know how to defend himself in addition to attacking. I think I should teach you some defensive magic."
Hearing that Dumbledore was also going to teach him magic, Kyle was extremely expectant.
"Shall we start after we finish eating?"
Nighttime, the magical training room.
Grindelwald stood with his hands behind his back; he hadn't even drawn his wand.
"Before I begin teaching you, I want to test your current level." The old Dark Lord spoke faintly. "Attack me with everything you have."
Kyle thought for two seconds and decided to probe first. He raised his hand and flung a Stunning Spell at Grindelwald.
This Stunning Spell was fast and urgent, not something a young wizard of his age could normally produce. Third or fourth-year students at Hogwarts could easily fall victim to it if caught off guard.
However, Grindelwald simply flicked his finger and deflected it.
The old Dark Lord scolded sternly, "You studied at Hogwarts for a year and only learned this little bit?"
Kyle put away his wand. It seemed his spell intensity wasn't enough; against Grindelwald, it was still a result of 99% magic immunity.
Clap!
Kyle clapped his hands together heavily. Dual-casting an instant combination Ninjutsu, a Lightning-Water Dragon Bullet roared and lunged toward Grindelwald.
Grindelwald grinned. "Now that's a bit interesting."
A wand appeared in Grindelwald's hand, and a white screen of light appeared before him in an instant.
The menacing Lightning-Water Dragon Bullet smashed into pieces against the seemingly soft but actually extremely sturdy light screen.
Of course, a normal Lightning-Water Dragon Bullet certainly couldn't have any effect on Grindelwald.
With all the offensive means Kyle currently mastered, the only things that could break through a Shield Charm were the highly penetrating Chidori, or relying on his Feng Qiu Huang.
The exploding Lightning-Water Dragon Bullet emitted intense lightning, the dazzling light forcing Grindelwald to slightly avert his gaze.
Now!
A blade flashing with lightning tore through the light screen.
The corners of Grindelwald's mouth raised slightly. He pointed his wand forward, and Kyle, who had already closed in behind the Lightning-Water Dragon Bullet, was blasted back like a cannonball.
"Nice idea," Grindelwald evaluated Kyle's performance. "Using magic to obscure my vision and taking the opportunity to close in..."
A burnt smell interrupted his words.
Where was the burnt smell coming from?
Grindelwald's ears keenly caught the extremely faint sizzling sound in the air. Suddenly, his expression changed.
Because the source of this sound was—his sleeve.
Grindelwald lowered his head, only to see that at some point, a burning paper tag had been stuck to the cuff of the hand holding his wand.
Bang!
A ball of firelight exploded on Grindelwald's arm.
Because it was his own dad, Kyle had controlled the power of the Explosive Tag to a very small degree, basically about the same as a firecracker played with by children.
But some other things produced by the Explosive Tag's explosion were uncontrollable, such as black soot.
Seeing Grindelwald turned into a big black face, Kyle burst out laughing right then and there.
He quickly pulled a camera from his pocket and instantly pressed the shutter at Grindelwald's soot-covered face.
Click! Click!
Two crisp camera shutter sounds rang out in the training room. Kyle didn't hesitate to activate Lightning Release Mode and tried to rush out of the room.
But Grindelwald's movements were faster than his. He reached out and pointed remotely at the door, and the door immediately locked tight.
Standing before the locked door, Kyle felt a chill on the back of his neck. He turned his head and found Grindelwald's icy gaze locked onto him.
He swallowed with some difficulty.
"Um... Dad, I'm a little tired. I think we should start the magic learning tomorrow."
After saying that, Kyle reached for the door handle.
Awkward. He couldn't pull it open.
Grindelwald expressionlessly used magic to clean the black soot off his face, but his face—black as the bottom of a pot—couldn't turn back to white no matter what.
Next up was the time for a "kind father and filial son."
