The camp under Silva's protection went on without any problems. Because Silva gave the camp enough breathing room from the monster avalanche, they were able to bolster the camp's defences and increase their supplies as well.
The Hephaestus cabin took every bit of wasted celestial bronze and created Greek firebombs with it. They even took the monster parts they gained from the attacks to create new weapons to use against the monsters that would appear later.
The Ares and Athena cabin members were making new traps and plans while passing them on to other campers to prepare them for the next group of attacks.
Plus, since the campers had Silva's protection and the guarantee of not dying, they decided to use this opportunity to train their younger members to deal with different monsters.
They even started competitions to see who could get the highest number of kills in the shortest amount of time.
Though Silva was excluded from the competition, as they knew the difference between first and second place would be too great if they included him.
After a few weeks, Silva sensed the presence of multiple monsters gathering at a distance from the camp.
'They must be getting ready for Clarisse, who's coming here on Percy's Pegasus,' Silva thought as he turned towards the campers.
"Clarisse is coming here with the Fleece. Get ready to take care of the monsters who are planning to stop her from saving the tree," Silva ordered, and the campers prepared for war.
A quarter of them went in different directions around the camp to bolster the defences so that the monsters wouldn't attack from other directions while the main battle would be going on in the direction where the monsters were currently gathering to attack Clarisse.
Silva stayed behind to make sure nothing else happened. He figured it was better for the campers to deal with the monsters and gain experience so that they could survive future battles. He had a feeling that soon he would go on a quest of his own, and when that time came, the campers needed to be prepared.
He also knew about his mother's kidnapping, which was going to happen soon. He had already planned how much he should influence that quest.
Bianca Di Angelo—she should survive.
When the prophecy spoke about a member of the quest being lost in the land without rain, Bianca's death could have been prevented if Percy had not joined the group later, when one of the Hunters had gotten poisoned due to a shirt in the camp.
But without Percy, the quest would not have been completed at all, as his expertise and abilities were useful in many different ways.
'But I can satisfy the conditions of the prophecy and save Bianca's life at the same time with my ability to manipulate fate,' Silva thought as he watched Clarisse put the Fleece on Thalia's tree, reactivating the barrier and saving it from the poison Luke had injected into it.
Though he did wonder: was Thalia's return included in the plan if, by any chance, the original plan of reviving Kronos with the Fleece failed?
Later in the story, they claimed that Thalia's return was planned, and Luke had boasted many times that Thalia would burn down Olympus. But Thalia coming back to life with the Fleece is a phenomenon that can't be known by anyone unless they know about the future.
And there is no chance Kronos's army has an Oracle. If they did, the original campers in the canon would not have succeeded even a little bit.
'Well, let's put it aside for now,' Silva thought as the camp finally returned to peace.
After a few weeks.
Silva realized the day had come for Thalia to return from the tree. As he sensed the tree with his powers, he was able to feel the Fleece occupying the source of the tree where Thalia's body had resided before with Thalia's body acting as the conduit for the power source. Her powers from Zeus's bloodline absorbed the electric currents present around the tree to act as a fuel source for the barrier to sustain itself.
Thalia was the power source, while the tree was the machine that made the barrier.
Right now, the Fleece was slowly taking Thalia's place while ejecting her from the tree. At the same time, the Fleece made sure to heal her from the wounds she had obtained from the monsters years ago so that she wouldn't be in any trouble when she came out.
While checking Thalia's condition, Silva simultaneously used the opportunity to study the structure of the tree that was creating the barrier. Normally, the secrets of the tree were guarded, and Silva was unable to find out how it worked.
But right now, during the transition, Silva was able to understand how it worked.
'All right, I might not be able to use it like the original version, but I might be able to create something similar,' Silva realized after successfully reading how the barrier enchantments worked.
He then informed a camper doing patrol to inform the others about Thalia. The camper ran as fast as possible and immediately used the emergency alarms meant to inform the camp about serious matters.
Realizing the seriousness, the entire camp woke up. Silva saw Annabeth and Percy running towards Thalia, with Grover running in front of them. Silva watched as they took her to the infirmary.
The camp went through a whirlwind of emotions at the realization that the child of Zeus had returned. This also made many afraid, as there was a credible rumor that something would happen when a child of the Big Three reached the age of sixteen. They thought they had a few more years since Percy was still young. But Thalia's return changed everything.
And a few days after resurrecting, Thalia came to Silva.
"We need to talk," she said, and Silva knew she was serious.
