The candle-lit hall was brimming with excited noise, nosy students already garnering multiple theories about what could have happened.
"Did you feel how ominous it was when all the lights went out? I was in the library, and trust me, I screamed."
"That Bell has never been rung at night."
"Reckon there's been some sort of invasion?"
Prefects were shouting at the top of their voices, trying to keep the students in order, as the professors began to file into the hall one after the other.
"What dorm are you in?"
"Assemble according to your dorm numbers, sickos. Students in dorm 001 start this line, so what are you doing here when you're in dorm 326?"
It was staring at me—the Fiérré. I could tell it knew what we did that night. Why didn't it attack me then? I was lost in a trance, so why didn't it come to murder me? Was it scared of taking on Natalie, Athena and Heart at once?
