Chapter 131 - This was the Wakandan view on invasion.

When this topic came up, Xu Dan asked, "King T'Chaka, may I ask what your view is on alien invasions?"

Faced with such a sudden shift in topic, T'Chaka, as a king, merely smiled faintly, clearly believing that he had already seen through everything.

What T'Chaka had seen through, however, was only what he thought he had seen through.

He replied, "Regarding alien invasions, I believe that regardless of the reason for the invasion, it is wrong. Something wrong should be dealt with."

This was the Wakandan view on invasion.

Perhaps it stemmed from excessive confidence—or perhaps they believed that alien forces would never be able to find Wakanda.

That alien destruction would only target major cities with dense populations.

Xu Dan smiled faintly. He pointed toward the sky above Wakanda and said, "What if—just hypothetically—what if the aliens descend from here?"

King T'Chaka followed Xu Dan's gesture and looked up at the sky.

This old man likely had no idea that in the near future, Wakanda would face its ultimate calamity.

Countless alien war beasts would descend alongside alien armies, tearing through Wakanda's protective concealment with their own bodies, before crashing violently onto the land.

Those who had never experienced an alien invasion would never understand what such an invasion truly meant.

It meant endless danger.

Even if humanity managed to win the first time—driving the alien invaders away—

What about after that?

Once the first invasion occurred, it meant that Earth had already been placed on the radar of countless interstellar predators. From that moment on, they could come again at any time—whenever they pleased.

Faced with such a crisis, what should humanity do?

King T'Chaka's smile did not change. "If they descend here, we Wakandans will never let them go."

"I will expel all intruders," Black Panther T'Challa added firmly.

Listening to the words of the king and prince, Xu Dan shook his head in deep regret.

He felt disappointed.

Disappointed in what was supposedly the most technologically advanced nation on Earth.

The leaders of the planet's most advanced country were thinking like this…

Seeing Xu Dan's reaction, King T'Chaka paused slightly and asked in confusion, "Does Mr. Xu Dan have a different opinion?"

Worthy of a king, T'Chaka's tone remained humble.

Xu Dan gazed into the distant sky, then turned his eyes to meet T'Chaka's and said seriously, "If it were me, I would lead all of humanity to take the first step into the cosmic universe—to head for the stars. Blind defense is useless. Since things have already reached the stage of interstellar invasion, alien civilizations won't care about a few expendable troops. If those expendables conquer Earth, they are heroes; if they die, it's merely a loss. Of course, this is only from the standpoint of human morality. In a vast universe containing hundreds of millions of races, who can say whether aliens even see invasion as an evil act—or as something glorious?"

"Only by venturing outward can humanity avoid being beaten passively."

T'Chaka stared at the young man beside him in astonishment. This man was younger than his own son.

And T'Chaka knew very well—Xu Dan was a renowned game developer in the outside world.

A businessman.

Yet such a person could possess such insight!

It was exceedingly rare.

"Mr. Xu Dan, I salute you!"

Hearing this, Xu Dan hurriedly waved it off. "Your Majesty, you flatter me. I'm just making some assumptions—just idle talk."

"No," T'Chaka said solemnly. "Your way of thinking is extremely rare. If more people thought this way, the world would have been peaceful long ago." He looked at Xu Dan with renewed respect. "You have a saying in Huaxia: stabilize the interior before addressing the exterior. That is the current state of the world. If we cannot even put our own house in order, how can we fight against aliens?"

"Hah." Xu Dan shook his head again. "Bad people don't refrain from bullying you just because you're unprepared. Like hunting on the grasslands—leopards never wait for lambs to grow up before chasing them."

"…"

T'Chaka felt as though he had been thoroughly enlightened by someone so young.

No matter how he thought about it, Xu Dan's words made more sense than his own.

It was as though T'Chaka was holding a book and reciting its doctrines, while Xu Dan spoke from direct experience.

The gap between them was like that between the sun and the moon.

"This way, please, Mr. Xu Dan." King T'Chaka's interest in the young man grew significantly.

After being seated in Wakanda's traditional VIP area and given a glass of water, T'Chaka asked again, "Why is Mr. Xu Dan so concerned about alien invasions? Humanity has lived on Earth for so long—haven't we always been at peace?"

"Because it already happened once."

"What?" T'Chaka immediately recalled Xu Dan's earlier words—that once it happened the first time, there would be countless times. Had Earth truly already reached that point?!

"You already know about what happened in New Mexico in the United States. But do you know who they were?"

"This…"

"That's right. Those in New Mexico were aliens—and extremely powerful ones."

"!!"

Father and son felt their hearts tighten. Just as they suspected…

"So, King T'Chaka, do you know when the next invasion will occur?"

"This… I don't know. Does Mr. Xu Dan know?"

"I don't know," Xu Dan replied calmly, lifting his cup and taking a sip. "That's why I prepare every day. No matter when they come, I must do my utmost to do what I can."

After saying that, he added, "I believe being invaded by outsiders on one's own planet is the greatest humiliation for humanity. That's just my personal view—perhaps I'm a bit stubborn."

"No, Mr. Xu Dan!" Black Panther T'Challa suddenly said. "If thinking this way is stubborn, then all of humanity would—if that day truly comes, please contact me. I will personally assist you!"

King T'Chaka, seated on the throne, remained silent.

It was not that he had nothing to say, but that as a king, he had to prioritize his people above all else.

And he could only tacitly approve of his son's stance.

In the face of a global crisis—one threatening all humanity—reaching out to justice was the right choice.

Black Panther T'Challa was indeed a good man.

On one hand, he had received excellent education since childhood; on the other, he was fundamentally kind-hearted.

This could be seen in how he forgave his father's murderer.

An ordinary person would have chosen revenge, even at the cost of abandoning the throne.

But T'Challa was different. Not only did he prevent his father's killer from committing suicide, he also accepted Bucky—who at the time had been burdened with countless crimes.

Of course, all of this lay in the future.

Judging a person by their future actions was hardly rational.

Who could say whether Xu Dan's arrival might not subtly change T'Challa's heart?

"All right, let's set aside the grand talk. King T'Chaka, let's discuss our cooperation. You know what kind of person I am, and you naturally understand the purpose of my visit to Wakanda."

Hearing this, T'Chaka nodded and said directly, "Mr. Xu Dan, although I admire you greatly, I cannot help you… You should speak to my daughter."

Damn—what a turn!

T'Chaka's daughter—Black Panther's sister, Shuri.

A true technological genius.

Although still a minor, genius was nothing unusual in Wakanda.

As a princess, Shuri could be considered Wakanda's foremost scientist.

The Black Panther's nano-suit was her creation.

One must remember—she was still underage at the time, while Iron Man, who also developed a nano-suit, had already grown white hair.

Black Panther smiled as well. "Mr. Xu Dan, I believe Shuri will definitely be able to help you."

Xu Dan raised his glass helplessly. He truly couldn't grasp Wakandan humor—but gratitude was still due.

He hadn't expected them to agree so readily.

All three gifts had already been handed over to Wakandan officials at the very beginning.

Under normal circumstances, such items would be dragged onto the negotiating table, leading to heated arguments.

But Xu Dan handed them over without a single word.

Wasn't he afraid Wakanda might take advantage of him?

Wasn't he afraid they would accept the gifts and do nothing in return?

He wasn't afraid at all.

Because the Wakandan king he understood was not a bad man.

Fortunately, he was negotiating with Wakanda.

If this had been the U.S. government, he would have first considered stealing the nuclear launch codes.
