Chapter 129 - Gaining Wakanda’s approval was also a problem.

Wakanda's location was not difficult to find on a map, but what it presented to the outside world was always nothing more than farmland.

Its true technological prowess was concealed beneath a layer of "enchantment."

Of course, that optical cloaking technology was also created using vibranium.

Truly entering Wakanda was not something that could be accomplished with empty words.

Visitors had to show sincerity.

And there were only a few kinds of "gifts" that could satisfy the people of Wakanda.

Bandits. Security. Problems.

Bandits referred to Ulysses Klaue, who had committed heinous thefts along Wakanda's borders and killed many Wakandans. Ulysses Klaue was currently an arms smuggler and had previously dealt with Tony Stark. In short, he was not a good thing. If someone could deal with him and deliver him to Wakanda's border, Wakanda would certainly understand the intention.

Security referred to the safety of Black people. Wakanda was located in Africa, where the population was predominantly Black. They could not ignore the discrimination and suffering endured by their Black brethren around the world. However, due to Wakanda's isolationist policies, they could only watch and could not personally intervene.

Problems—the people of Wakanda had long realized that vibranium was a non-renewable resource. Although they had been developing for many years and had not yet exhausted a single mine, vibranium was still finite, while humanity's demand for resources was infinite. One day, vibranium energy would inevitably be depleted. This was also one of the core reasons Wakanda chose to isolate itself and protect vibranium.

So fundamentally, Wakanda was unwilling to reach out to outsiders.

Unless someone could solve all of these problems.

Xu Dan believed he possessed those bargaining chips.

Thus, the moment he walked out of the laboratory, he immediately contacted Goenitz.

"Goenitz, where are you now?"

"Reporting to my lord—your subordinate is everywhere."

Xu Dan rolled his eyes. "Alright. Then go help me deal with someone. No—better catch him alive. Report back when it's done."

"Your subordinate obeys the lord's command!"

...

After hanging up the call, Goenitz emerged from the shadows of the Antarctica Biotechnology Building and moved in the direction of his target.

Xu Dan rarely gave him missions, so he was usually free.

However, that freedom was never spent enjoying the prosperity of the world. Instead, he always lurked in Xu Dan's shadow, ensuring he could support him at any moment.

Of course, Goenitz was also a man of discernment. He knew that sometimes Xu Dan could handle matters himself and did not wish for interference. In such cases, he would simply observe—yet the moment anything abnormal occurred, he would act.

For example, during the helicopter bombing attempt on the villa—Xu Dan had not even had time to inform him, yet Goenitz had already appeared.

Traveling from New York to Africa still required Goenitz to take a plane.

The last time he had carried Banner back to New York from the Brazilian border, the distance had been relatively short. This time, flying on his own was clearly impossible.

Target: Ulysses Klaue.

An arms smuggler who maintained his own team year-round at an African port.

In truth, it was normal for arms dealers to have private teams.

Goenitz appeared like a ghost aboard one of Ulysses Klaue's tankers.

His attire was completely out of place in this environment.

Naturally, it caused a disturbance the moment he appeared.

The grimy men looked up at the priest-like Goenitz, unsure how to react.

Was he a guest of their boss—or someone here to cause trouble?

Clearly, Goenitz was the latter.

Though calling it provocation wasn't quite right—at most, he was a thief king coming to stir chaos.

As an experienced arms smuggler, Ulysses Klaue reacted swiftly. Upon hearing something unusual outside, he quietly picked up the pistol beside him.

Though a handgun lacked the power of a rifle, its compact size and ease of use made it perfect for a sly businessman like him.

Step. Step. Step.

Goenitz's footsteps—entirely undisguised—drew closer and closer.

Ulysses Klaue grew anxious. He knew full well that he had not summoned anyone to his ship.

That alone spelled trouble.

Thus, he planned to shoot the moment he saw the intruder—kill him with a single bullet and see how mysterious he could still be.

Step.

But at that instant, Goenitz's footsteps stopped.

Ulysses Klaue panicked.

He was just a businessman. His subordinates were nothing more than a pack of rabble, not an army. How could he not panic?

Yet despite his inner turmoil, his outward composure remained intact.

For example, even in this crisis, he calmly reached for a piece of candy from the plate on the table and popped it into his mouth.

Ulysses Klaue was undoubtedly a madman.

There were many lunatics in this world—aside from those locked away in asylums, many wielded enormous influence.

Ulysses Klaue simply wasn't number one yet.

"Who's there? Get out here!"At last, Klaue raised his pistol and aimed it into the darkness.

A figure emerged from the shadows.

But it wasn't Goenitz.

It was Klaue's own assistant and bodyguard.

He raised both hands and slowly approached.

"Oh, damn you—are you trying to scare me to death?" Klaue snapped.

"Boss… I—I…"

"What me what?!"

The assistant dared not speak. He only pointed behind Klaue.

There stood a man clad in black religious robes—nothing unusual in itself, as priests from hypocritical churches often dressed that way.

That wasn't the point.

The point was that the man was floating in midair, like a ghost.

The assistant was so frightened he could barely speak.

When Ulysses Klaue slowly turned his head and saw the strange visitor, he was so terrified that his legs gave out and he collapsed to the floor.

"Heaven—ah!! Buddy, are you trying to scare me to death?!"

"Boss… boss…"

Goenitz lowered his gaze, as if identifying his target.

Soon, his eyes settled on Ulysses Klaue.

Though utterly disheveled, the man perfectly matched the description.

According to intelligence, Klaue was a former military smuggler and should have had considerable armed strength.

Yet who would have thought that someone with a screw loose would hide in a room eating rock candy?

Was there something wrong with his brain?

This operation was simply too easy.

Easier even than Goenitz's very first mission.

"Ulysses Klaue," Goenitz said calmly,"your sinful career ends here."

"Huh?"Klaue knelt on the floor, his face twisted in panic."You…"
