Chapter 126 - “In the White House?! Oh my God!”

"Your company? Would you believe me if I told you that I have loyal players even in the White House?"

"In the White House?! Oh my God!"

Old Pym's worldview was shaken, but he soon regained his composure.

When he first saw that strange letter, he hadn't believed it at all. After all, in this day and age, who doesn't fabricate information for corporate espionage?

But the more he examined it, the more he realized that everything was far too real!

Based on his own deductions, combined with certain undeniable facts, the information carried at least seventy percent credibility!

His most trusted and proud student—Darren Cross—had betrayed him!

In his entire life, aside from his wife, it seemed that everyone else had betrayed him in one way or another!

If that still wasn't enough to draw old Pym's attention—

Then later that night, when his daughter Hope returned home earlier than usual, what she said directly caused old Pym to consider inviting Xu Dan!

"Thank you for reminding me. If it weren't for those undeniable facts, I might still be completely in the dark!"

"It's nothing, just a small matter."

"Shhh—what I'm curious about is, how did you find out? I never told anyone about this, not even Hope!"

"Dr. Pym, what you should be focusing on isn't how I know—but how to bring her back, right?"

Bring.Back.Her.

These three words exploded in old Pym's ears like a bolt of lightning!

"She's… really alive," Pym whispered.

He didn't know why, but after hearing those words from a stranger, his emotions surged uncontrollably.

Ever since the Wasp disappeared, his heart had been tormented day after day. Even he himself had never been one hundred percent certain that she was still alive!

After so many years, Hope had grown up so much, and she—

This was a man's stubborn, deep, and affectionate persistence.

"Do you know where she is?! And how to bring her back?!"

"Of course I know. If I didn't, why would I come to you at a time like this?"

"Please tell me! Whatever you need—anything at all—as long as I have it, I'll give it to you!"

Many years ago, Howard Stark had stolen some of his Pym Particles, and he had immediately severed all ties with S.H.I.E.L.D.

Yet today, to a man he had known for less than thirty minutes, he said:Whatever you need, I'll give it to you!

All for one woman.His wife.

In front of the Wasp, nothing else mattered.

And this wasn't even a negotiation—it was completely one-sided!

If Xu Dan had simply told him that the Wasp was dead, that alone would have been enough.

He had already suffered for so many years—what difference would a little more pain make?

But she was alive!

The hope in his heart was instantly rekindled, and the urge to see the Wasp almost shattered his sanity.

However, faced with Hank Pym's eager gaze, Xu Dan calmly picked up the coffee on the table, took a slow sip, then set the cup down before speaking leisurely:

"I'm going to keep you in suspense for now. I don't need anything from you—but I do need you to do one thing for me."

"Do something?" Hank Pym immediately tensed, asking defensively, "What kind of thing?"

Over the years, countless capital groups had approached him, trying to entice him into wearing the Ant-Man suit again and doing dirty work for them.

He had refused every single time.

If Xu Dan was the same kind of person… what should he do?!

Faced with information about the Wasp, he had absolutely no room for maneuver!

Just as he was struggling internally, Xu Dan smiled and said:

"Help me make a helmet."

Hah—

Hank Pym instantly let out a long breath of relief.

Just a helmet!

He had made the atmosphere so tense that he nearly gave himself a heart attack!

Let alone a helmet—even giving him the Ant-Man suit wouldn't have been a problem!

"Tell me," he asked, "what kind of helmet?"

Xu Dan immediately took out a blueprint.

"Simply put, it's a game helmet. I'm developing a virtual holographic game where players enter the virtual world by wearing a helmet. However, due to connection issues, it places a certain burden on the brain. I need that burden reduced to zero."

"That's impossible," Hank Pym said firmly. "Entering a virtual world through a helmet involves cutting-edge biological science. I can't do that."

Hank Pym stared at Xu Dan, feeling that this kid was deliberately trying to make things difficult for him!

After all these years, he had embarrassed countless others—but he never expected to be embarrassed by Xu Dan today!

Hunting geese all his life, only to finally be pecked blind by one!

"You don't need to worry about that," Xu Dan said calmly. "Because that part has already been solved. All you need to do is eliminate the pressure the helmet puts on the human body."

"Already… solved?!"

Listening to Xu Dan's casual tone, Hank Pym was completely stunned.

Those who didn't understand wouldn't know—but those who did understood just how terrifying this technology was!

He now couldn't help but wonder:Had this young man already received backing from the White House?

Otherwise, why would he dare say that he had loyal supporters inside the White House?

And biological science experts of this caliber were usually monopolized by the government—how could an ordinary person obtain them?!

"Yes. It's already done."

"I… I see," Hank Pym wiped the cold sweat from his forehead and asked cautiously, "May I ask—who is your chief technology officer? Do I know him?"

Scientists were known for having their quirks.

And old Pym had plenty of them!

Still, this wasn't something that needed to be hidden.

Antarctic Company wasn't some military secret—did its personnel list really need to be classified?

Other companies practically shoved their developer credits into their games for fear that no one would notice them!

"Bruce Banner. I don't know if that name rings a bell."

"Bruce Banner…" Hank Pym repeated slowly. "I feel like I've heard that name somewhere… but I can't remember where."

The corners of Xu Dan's mouth curled slightly as he said softly:

"The Hulk."

As soon as those words were spoken, Hank Pym's pupils shrank violently in shock!

The Hulk was no secret within their circle. Anyone who should know, knew. Even those who shouldn't knew something.

"That man?! You dare to use him?! Aren't you afraid he'll suddenly lose control and rampage through the city?!"

"What if I told you I've solved his rampage problem?"

"That's impossible—unless you're God!"
