Chapter 212 - Are you the reincarnation of Arceus?

As soon as these words were spoken, the whole room fell silent, so quiet you could hear a pin drop. Corey and the others even wondered if something was wrong with their ears.

"He... he must be mistaken, right? This is a terrifying opponent who can instantly take down all six of Elite Lorelei's main Pokemon. He intends to fight her with just his body? Is he kidding?"

No sensible person would ever say something so foolish!

"He does indeed have some special abilities, but... no matter how strong a human is, it's impossible to battle a Pokemon. A human is still a human, how can they fight a Pokemon? Especially such a powerful one!" Corey also couldn't understand Ash's actions.

Just like he couldn't understand how Mewtwo, being a Pokemon, could suddenly become a Trainer. A Pokemon becoming a Trainer was already inconceivable, and now something even more unbelievable was happening: a human was going to battle a Pokemon as if they were one!

And that Pokemon was the one who just now instantly defeated the Champion-level main force. Is this even right?

A Pokemon commanding a Pokemon just involves using your brain. Intelligence, when trained, can sometimes yield results, but strength is different...

No matter how much a human trains, no matter how much they push their body to its limit, they can't compare to a Pokemon.

For a human to take the field as a Pokemon is way more absurd than a Pokemon taking the field as a Trainer!

Misty, Brock, and Gary said nothing, but their faces were full of worry. Unlike others, they knew better how strong Ash was, standing at the pinnacle of humans with his special abilities.

But Mewtwo's power was at the pinnacle of Pokemon! Compared to the pinnacle of humans, the difference was vast, making any comparison unnecessary.

So Ash's pinnacle and Mewtwo's pinnacle couldn't be compared at all. Misty and the others didn't want to not believe in Ash, but with such a disparity in power, how could they fully trust him?

Being able to defeat even Lorelei's main Pokemon like that, Mewtwo had undoubtedly stepped into that realm. No matter how strong Ash was, could he really match the Divine Level?

That's clearly unrealistic.

But Ash isn't someone who acts recklessly without intelligence. Many times before, Ash had used strategies and battle arrangements that seemed irrational to them, yet they worked unexpectedly well in the end. So perhaps this time, Ash might also have some strategy to cope with it?

When Lorelei saw Ash stepping up, her expression slightly changed, and she subconsciously took a step forward, but then backed away.

Even though she hadn't spent much time with Ash, it was clear Ash isn't someone who would knowingly throw his life away. Behind him were so many he needed to protect. If he rushed in without any strategy, it would be irresponsible to his partners and teammates.

So in the end, Lorelei didn't move, but instead quietly watched Ash's back, praying in her heart, "Be careful, Ash."

"What nonsense," Mewtwo looked at the boy standing in front of him, an uncharacteristic look of disdain appearing on her usually calm face. Clearly, Ash's actions made him feel sheer contempt.

To stand in front of her despite witnessing her power, this was beyond commendable bravery; it was sheer foolishness and idiocy.

The fact that Ash hadn't abandoned his Pokemon stirred some small ripples in Mewtwo's heart, but Ash's behavior of standing before her just seemed utterly foolish.

"Whether it's nonsense or not, why don't you try and see for yourself." As Ash spoke, he suddenly stamped his foot, his figure leaving an afterimage in the air, instantly appearing in front of Mewtwo.

This extraordinary speed made Mewtwo's pupils contract sharply. She instinctively activated a barrier, the light-blue psychic shield firmly guarding her.

This was the very barrier that had just reflected the attacks of Lorelei's six Champion-level Pokemon, its defensive power already well-proven.

Faced with this barrier, Ash simply threw a punch, his fist glowing with a light blue aura.

"Bang!!"

"Crack crack crack!!"

A muffled boom resonated throughout the entire arena, a visible shockwave spreading outward from the two, blasting away all the stone and gravel on the ground.

And that psychic barrier, which could withstand the full-force attack of six Champion-level Pokemon, now had cracks spreading across it like a spiderweb!

"Crack!!"

With Ash's angry shout, Mewtwo's barrier shattered completely. This scene left not only the surrounding Gary and others but even Mewtwo herself in total shock.

'What the heck?'

While Mewtwo was in shock, Ash had already crouched down, his prepared left fist shooting out from his waist!

"Bang!!" This punch landed directly on Mewtwo's face, making Mewtwo's already bewildered mind even more dizzy.

"Thud-Bang-Crack!"

With one punch, Mewtwo rolled dozens of times on the ground, finally embedding her entire body into the arena wall.

All of this happened in the blink of an eye, and no one could react to what had just occurred until several seconds later when there was a faint sound of breathing in the arena.

Corey was breathing in small sips, not daring to take deep breaths. The scene just now had left him forgetting to breathe, almost suffocating, and now he only dared to breathe lightly, afraid that his breathing might shatter this dream-like scene.

What did he see? The Mewtwo that could suppress the six Champion-level main forces of Lorelei was now being knocked back over a hundred meters by a boy named Ash, who broke the barrier with a single punch and punched it in the face!

Besides dreaming, Corey couldn't think of any other circumstances where he could witness such a scene.

Neesha and Fergus were even more speechless, their thoughts aligned with Corey's, and they began cursing in their hearts. Is this something a human can do?

Ash's friends, who knew him better, like Misty, were also dumbfounded. They knew Ash was strong, but they never expected him to be this powerful.

The barrier Mewtwo just put up was certainly not held back; it was the same type of barrier that could block six Champion-level Pokemon, which is a Divine level power. Yet Ash broke that barrier with one punch and sent Mewtwo flying over a hundred meters with another punch!

What does this indicate? It indicates that Ash's power has reached the Divine level!!

Are you kidding me! Humans don't even have Divine level Pokemon, and now you're telling us that someone has already possessed Divine level power? Goodness, you're a humanoid Legendary Beast!

"Is Ash the reincarnation of Arceus?" Gary finally blurted out, and this wasn't a joke but his sincere thought.

Darn it, besides the reincarnation of Arceus, what other reason could explain all the miraculous events happening to Ash?

First, he set out on his journey for less than three months, then defeated an Elite level Pokemon. Then, after traveling a bit longer, he could contend with an Elite Peak Pokemon. Later, he somehow managed to beat Mewtwo, who exceeded Champion-level peak power!

Finally, the most incredible event right now is that he broke the barrier of a Divine level Psychic Type Pokemon with his bare hands and sent Mewtwo flying with another punch!

Geez, is there any reason besides being the reincarnation of Arceus?

Maybe Ash is actually Mew in disguise, but he just lost his memory of being a Pokemon and thinks he's human! Yeah, that sounds pretty reasonable.

"You're becoming increasingly unbelievable! I've been following Ash since he started his journey, and we watched him progress little by little. It's just his progress was a bit faster than normal..." Misty retorted with some insecurity.

"A bit faster... If I compare my Pokemon training progress to walking, then he's like riding a rocket! You call that a bit faster?" Gary's mouth twitched as he retorted, his face full of disbelief.

"And it's not just about training speed now; the issue lies with this guy himself! Ever since I was aware, we've been playing together, arguing since we were kids. Is there any skill of his that I don't know of? But aside from being a bit stronger, he's just an ordinary plain person."

"Yet after setting out on his journey, his talent in training Pokemon can be explained as being developed after just encountering Pokemon, but how do you explain his Aura Power? Did his hidden power within explode when he started traveling, making him this strong all of a sudden?"

Gary's question also rendered Misty and Brock silent.

They became Ash's companions not long after his journey began, but they were unclear about what happened before Ash's journey; however, when they met Ash, his power was already evident.

Even Misty, who met Ash on the day of his journey, wasn't sure where Ash's power came from.

She met Ash at noon on the day of his journey, when Ash was punching and kicking a flock of Spearow, showing that Ash probably already had Aura Power at that time.

If Ash didn't obtain the Aura Power before his journey, then it couldn't be that he awakened it just that morning and trained it to such a level in a few months, right? That would be even more unbelievable!

Probably, no matter how much Misty racked her brain, she wouldn't think that Ash actually awakened his Aura Power that very morning, and once it awakened, it was at the Divine level. It's just that Ash couldn't fully utilize it at that time.

Now Ash not only can use all the powers of Aura Ash that he inherited but also the Aura Power he developed himself. Thus, even at the same Divine level, Mewtwo got beaten so badly.

Of course, Mewtwo's carelessness also played a part.

Even Lorelei, who was usually calm and unperturbed, couldn't help but experience intense turmoil within her heart.

Imagine being a Champion Trainer whose six strongest Pokemon are top-notch even by global standards, yet all six together couldn't defeat one Pokemon. Just then, a human appears and with one punch, defeats the opponent that all your Pokemon couldn't handle despite giving their all. How would you feel?

Nothing in Lorelei's life has shocked her more than the scene in front of her right now.

Even with her composure, she felt like saying – this is unbelievably absurd!

Her six Pokemon were all dumbfounded, staring at Mewtwo embedded in the wall, questioning their own existence, wondering if they're truly Champion level or if Mewtwo is.

On the field, Ash slowly withdrew his fist, exhaling a breath. This was his first time using his full strength since acquiring Aura Power!

The effect, well, seems pretty good. Even Mewtwo got knocked down with a punch.

Initially, Ash was worried he couldn't defeat Mewtwo since, although Aura Ash had said inheriting his Aura meant reaching at least the Divine level, and he had wrestled with Legendary Beasts, Ash still had his doubts.

But now, all concerns are gone, he can win!

Embedded in the wall, Mewtwo struggled to open her eyes; she could still feel the lingering pain on her cheek, almost knocking her unconscious.

After all, the punch felt no different from being struck on the head.

Once she slightly recovered, disbelief flooded into her mind.

Why... why can a human do something like this? She is a Divine level! She has reached the extreme level in the Pokemon world, yet why is she being beaten like this?

Punching through the barrier, another punch landed on her face, and now her body is stuck in the wall completely unable to come down. She couldn't even think of such a result!

All along, Mewtwo was aware of the special power within Ash, and her perception vaguely sensed the terrifying energy hidden within Ash back when they were at the Viridian Gym.

Now, Mewtwo herself has grown stronger, possessing formidable power after breaking through, a strength even she could hardly believe she possessed. She felt there were no Pokemon in the world who were her match.

And today, Ash shattered that reality for her.

Ash reached her level and is even stronger!

How come a mere human...?

"Hey, Mewtwo, how long are you going to keep lying there?"
