Chapter 140: Feeding Each Other with the Snow Empress
"Snow Empress I've come to see you!"
A clear crisp sound rang out and Xue Di sensed that Bing Di seemed a little different today.
However she was naturally cold and thoughtless so she didn't think much of it and just watched Hyotei walk over indifferently.
Qi Tian didn't care about Xue Di's cold attitude; that was just her nature.
Perhaps she was like Zhu Zhuqing seemingly cold on the surface but extremely passionate on the inside?
"Snow Empress what do you think of my cultivation level?" Qi Tian displayed his own aura to Snow Empress.
Only then did the Snow Empress speak. "Your cultivation has exceeded four hundred thousand years?"
Her voice was as cold and aloof as her appearance and only then did Qi Tian realise how unapproachable the Snow Empress was.
However he would not be discouraged; the mission had to be completed and quickly!

Qi Tian came to the Snow Empress and stared at her for a while.
Xue Di had exquisite features and flawless skin and was wearing only a simple white dress.
Her pair of white jade-like feet like works of art stood on the cold ice and snow.
'She truly is an elf of ice and snow with flawless looks and figure! She's just a bit too aloof' Qi Tian thought to himself.
She let Qi Tian stare at her without any discomfort as if it had nothing to do with her.
"Snow Empress do you know how I broke through?" Qi Tian started to find a topic to talk about.
Xue Di looked at Qi Tian seemingly waiting for his next move and Qi Tian didn't keep her in suspense.
"I discovered an ice silkworm that has grown to a cultivation level of 990,000 years by consuming ice marrow and it has not yet experienced a single heavenly tribulation."
Snow Empress suddenly realised that Ice Empress was Ice Silkworm's natural enemy so she did not stand up for Ice Silkworm.
However that wasn't her focus.
"Ice Emperor do you know how that Ice Silkworm survived the Heavenly Tribulation?" Snow Empress asked.
"What should we do? What should we do?" Hyotei asked anxiously because she didn't know how to answer Xue Di.
She was so focused on enjoying the delicious food that she didn't even think about that.
She hadn't expected the Snow Empress to pay attention to this; if she had known she would have spared the life of the Heavenly Dream Ice Silkworm.
Fortunately Qi Tian knew the reason. "It is hiding in a place isolated from heaven and earth where there is no heavenly tribulation!"
The Snow Empress nodded slightly. "I see. So its heavenly tribulation hasn't disappeared; it must have accumulated."
"If you don't eat it the power of the heavenly tribulation you encounter in the future will be unprecedented."
After learning the truth about how the Heavenly Dream Ice Silkworm escaped the Heavenly Tribulation the Snow Empress lost interest.
"Snow Empress do you know? That ice silkworm is incredibly fast; it actually managed to escape into the human empire."
Xue Di listened quietly while Qi Tian continued to tell her about things related to the human world.
Bing Di watched as Qi Tian used her body to chat with Xue Di and seemed to have grasped something.
"So this is how you can chat with the Snow Empress?" Hyotei thought to herself.
Because of Xue Di's personality her conversations with Xue Di used to end abruptly every time.
Qi Tian was able to talk to Xue Di for so long and she realised that she should know how to get along with Xue Di in the future.
"Snow Empress it's a bit inappropriate for someone of your status to live here."
"I saw some nice houses built by humans in their territory. How about I build you a palace?" Qi Tian said.
"Okay!" Xue Di did not refuse and seemed to be somewhat interested in it as well.
This was the heart of the far north where ice and snow never melt. Qi Tian planned to build a palace using the ice and snow.
The palace's design could be modelled after the castle of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect which would make it more aesthetically pleasing.
However Qi Tian did not intend to build it too big. If the palace was too large it would seem too spacious for just two people to live in.
Only a more exquisite palace could make Xue Di feel at home and help her overcome her loneliness.
Qi Tian with Xue Di by his side built a palace on the snowfield in less than a day.
Both of them had a strong grasp of ice and snow and under Qi Tian's guidance a palace built of ice slowly took shape.
This palace like a 'crystal palace' was even more exquisite in appearance than the luxurious castle of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect.
"How is it? Isn't it beautiful?" Qi Tian asked.
Snow Empress nodded. She felt that Ice Empress was different today; she seemed to have become more interesting.
She felt that she didn't dislike this kind of interaction and even had a faint sense of anticipation.
"Snow Empress how about I live with you?" Qi Tian asked.
Qi Tian's suggestion was exactly what Xue Di wanted to hear so she nodded and agreed to Qi Tian's request.
Bing Di watched Qi Tian and Xue Di interact all day and felt a little jealous wishing that she was the one who had been interacting with Xue Di all day.
But when she heard that she could live with Xue Di in the future she suddenly felt relieved.
"Human powerhouses are terrifyingly strong!" Hyotei was completely convinced.
Qi Tian led Xue Di into the 'Crystal Palace' but this house seemed to be missing something.
He then sent over some decorations and furniture which were arranged inside the palace to make it look more human.
"Snow Empress are you hungry?" Qi Tian asked.
Xue Di looked at Qi Tian indifferently but since she was in a good mood today she still answered Qi Tian's question.
"Hyotei have you forgotten who I am? I don't need to eat!"
She was a being born from ice and snow feeding on the primordial energy of heaven and earth truly untouched by worldly concerns.
"Snow Empress I haven't forgotten. I just wanted you to taste the food of the human world."
Xue Di sensed Qi Tian's concern and nodded slightly agreeing to Qi Tian's suggestion.
Qi Tian did not immediately serve Xue Di hot food but instead took out some light snacks for her to taste and gradually get used to.
Two people sat facing each other at an ice table on which were several desserts giving the palace a touch of home.
Qi Tian picked up a pastry and brought it to Xue Di's lips.
Xue Di didn't notice anything amiss. She opened her glistening lips took the pastry and slowly savoured it.
The way she ate was extremely pleasing to the eye and Qi Tian sat opposite her quietly admiring her.
How does it taste?
She hadn't taken human form and Qi Tian was afraid that her sense of taste was different from that of humans or that she had no sense of taste at all.
But Qi Tian was overthinking it. She was the darling of heaven and earth. Since she was born in human form how could she not have a sense of taste?
"Not bad!" Xue Di nodded.
Seeing that Qi Tian was staring at her she picked up a pastry and held it to Qi Tian's lips.
You eat too!
Seeing this Ice Empress wished Qi Tian would get lost immediately because this was a gift from Snow Empress!
Unfortunately Qi Tian didn't seem to be planning to leave so soon.
He opened his mouth and took the dessert then went a step further and pretended to accidentally kiss her fingers.
Snow Empress narrowed her eyes and watched quietly but Ice Empress was already close to being a master in Qi Tian's mind.
"Mmm delicious!"
Qi Tian looked at Xue Di and said it was unclear whether he was referring to the snacks or her fingers.
