The fight outside is intense, I can hear every grunt, every blow being landed and every painful noise as body hits floor.
I remain standing at the door, heart caught in my throat as I am frozen with my hand at the handle.
Jaehyun can handle it…right? My heart is still racing for him, and I can feel the pure rage of his alpha, it's silent but killing at the same time, like the rage of a king.
I shudder as another wave of pain gets to me through the bond, one part of me wants to yank the door open and fight with him against the mad doctor, but another part of me is worried for our pup.
The groan that rips through my throat is as a result of the confusing mix of pains, a tight and dull pull in my head and a strong throbbing in my heart.
