Whether it was Deathstroke or Omar, both were slightly surprised to recognize each other's identities.
This place where Omar was, was a completely enclosed environment. At first glance, the whole cosmos seemed within reach, but it was merely a backdrop. Probably jumping would hit an 'air wall.'
She shouldn't have known I succeeded The Ancient One, unless Dormammu recently visited and told her the news.
Then this woman must be aware of my skills, making it hard for any sneak attack.
And seemingly a human beauty, Omar was actually a mass of dark clouds, pondering similar issues.
Why would a short-lived species like humans know about my centuries-long imprisonment? Unless some former Supreme Mage passed the word.
That implies the other party came prepared, making things troublesome.
So both were lost in their thoughts, and the atmosphere became quiet for a moment. Su Ming sat at the bedside, seemingly calm but actually closely monitoring the other's every move.
Of course, the other party did the same, leading to the bizarre situation of the two sitting side by side on the bed, speechless.
Both looked at each other, and neither spoke first.
In comparison, Su Ming had an advantage; he could leave anytime he wanted.
However, he had to find a way to plug the leaking cage to protect Earth from being assimilated by the Dark Dimension.
Take her along through the exit? The hope was slim. This cage could let small fish in, but whales couldn't swim out. Even if it worked, taking a Dimensional Demon God to Earth was too risky.
Abandon her here? She would certainly continue widening that previous breach, reopening the path to Earth, and causing dark matter to erupt continuously. She might do it just to cause trouble for the Supreme Mage.
It seems there's only one way left...
"Omar, let's strike a deal." Deathstroke's red lenses turned towards the other, and his hoarse voice echoed in the vast, flat world.
"Oh? I've heard human warlocks like making deals, but what can you offer me?" Omar's gaze swept unobtrusively over the golden scimitar on the side.
Divine weapon, armor, symbiote—this Supreme Mage seemed nothing like a Warlock.
"Do you hate your brother? Do you want to escape this cage?" Su Ming slowly pulled a contract from his pouch. It was a magic contract witnessed by Emperor Vishanti. Though its binding power might be ineffective against another Demon God, it seemed more formal this way.
Moreover, compared to other Demon Gods, Emperor Vishanti was always three-in-one, possessing some intimidation.
"Hehe, so you have a way to free me?" Omar showed some interest, her curvy body moved slightly closer to Su Ming.
But as she was composed of dark matter, essentially a cloud, intimate contact remained risky, so Su Ming dodged.
"Of course, not only can I free you from this cage, but I can help you ascend to the throne of the King of the Dark Dimension, allowing you to lock Dormammu away and return what's been done to you tenfold."
Omar glanced at the black and yellow mask before looking at the paper with Emperor Vishanti's trinity emblem. Lazily, she leaned back, lying on the bed:
"So what do you want? Do you wish to reproduce with the noble Faltin race to improve your inferior human bloodline? With magic's help, it might be possible. I've already thought about it; I'd have a girl and name her Keli."
Su Ming felt a wave of toothache.
Who in their right mind would roll in the sheets with such entities comprised of magic elements? After all, he wasn't a real mage and preferred carbon-based life forms.
Many warlocks remained childless due to certain mental issues or to study bloodline adaptability to magic. They often fell in love with other species, like someone falling for silicon-based life forms from alternate dimensions, or monsters full of tentacles, or aliens.
These odd species often had reproductive isolation with humans and usually couldn't reproduce.
Not to mention many warlocks had no interest in the opposite sex. They simply wanted to study diligently. Others were worn out by casting costs, turning into feeble mages, willing but unable.
Take the Magic Prince Monac, for example. He fancied beauties worldwide, but in comic history, he remained childless, only accompanied by a rabbit.
He couldn't help it. His hypnosis was ingrained; to him, a rabbit was like a child. If he accidentally killed a real child mistaking it for a rabbit, it'd be too cruel.
"No thanks, I have no interest in the Faltin's fireball bloodline. I only need you to become the King of the Dark Dimension, promise not to invade Earth again, and allow me to freely use the Power of Dimension."
Su Ming had no interest in Omar, this woman wasn't even human. No need to expect humanity; for such beings, having children was like creating experimental subjects.
She would indeed have a daughter named Keli. She loved Keli to death, yet also envied her daughter's talent, so she locked Keli in the pocket space sewn with the Dark Dimension...
Omar sat up from the bed, revealing a ferocious smile with her face entirely twisted: "Alright, I can promise that. Earth is just a small bay in distant memories, holding no special significance. But the power you borrow must have limits."
It wasn't exaggeration. Omar's achievements included managing the Dark Dimension and bursting a planet larger than Earth with a fingernail, like popping a grape.
Her fights with Dormammu were like a 50-50 split, and now Dormammu, mastering the Dark Dimension, had almost infinite energy. Su Ming dared to negotiate only because he had the confidence to bridge this gap in infinite energy.
"That's great, let's sign the contract. After signing, I have some questions needing your answers." Su Ming quickly wrote a few words on the paper, in English. These Dimensional Demon Gods didn't worry about language barriers.
Omar, confident in herself, though imprisoned, showed no fear of Dormammu.
She picked up the contract, looked over it briefly, and touched the paper with her finger. In an instant, a black lotus-like flame bloomed, and her name appeared on the contract.
"Here, all dimensions and spaces are isolated. Emperor Vishanti cannot reach. The contract will only take effect once you take it outside."
She casually explained, and Su Ming nodded.
This special cage was specifically to confine Demon Gods, and it's likely located within the Dark Dimension; Emperor Vishanti wouldn't be able to venture inside.
But there was little to worry about because Omar couldn't go back on her word before escaping. And after escaping, the contract would take effect, signing with an unfamiliar dimension; Emperor Vishanti might even descend in person, serving as the backer.
"No problem, now let's discuss when Dormammu will visit you next time."
He packed away the contract, and the red light in his visor glowed brightly.
