Chapter 1152 - Chapter 1086: Faltin

This pocket space really is barren, empty except for a bed and dressing table, but elemental creatures do have some benefits; they don't need to eat, just having energy allows them to live infinitely.

The problem is, if you're imprisoned, this journey is almost endless.

The Dormammu family is deeply mired in a vortex of hatred; Dormammu hates all Faltin people, Omar hates her brother, and her future daughter hates her mother and uncle.

Even the Ghost Rider, who represents the concept of 'revenge' within Marvel, cannot escape the vortex of hatred; he simply draws all hatred onto himself.

He judges sinners, maybe avenging some people and severing their chains of hatred, but the relatives and friends of the sinners hate him, making him a target for all.

This is probably why the Ghost Rider changes hands every one or two hundred years—someone behind the scenes slashing with a knife?

Looking at Omar, who was coldly smiling and deep in thought beside him, Su Ming guessed she had already begun to conceive a plan in her mind to deal with her brother. Everything was restricted here, except thought.

"I will continue deeper into the Dark Dimension, find the Faltin people, and let them support you to overthrow Dormammu's rule," Su Ming looked towards the distant stars. The multicolored light made his figure appear mottled as he gathered up the contract, and voiced his plan in a husky tone.

Omar crossed her arms, pressing her two large masses against her chest with her arms, not caring one bit about the state of her physical appearance, and instead raised a different opinion.

"Dormammu and I were exiled betrayers tens of thousands of years ago because we desired matter and refused to remain perpetually in an energy state. Now, Dormammu has retaliated heavily, treating them like pets in captivity. I don't think they will help me."

Deathstroke turned around, looking at her sitting by the bed: "You seem to have forgotten to mention that you also tortured them greatly; they hate you as much as they hate him."

Omar smiled, her fiery red tongue licking the corner of her mouth like a flame: "Yes, I really enjoy torturing them, holding them in my hands to hear their cries of agony, licking my boots and begging for forgiveness. Although the last time I tortured them was many, many years ago, I still occasionally remember and savor it; I'm very happy and no regrets at all."

Su Ming knew it would be this way; Omar and Dormammu were almost cut from the same cloth, whether in thought or action, except for gender, they were almost identical. This is also the main reason Dormammu is apprehensive about her.

This apprehension turned into a twisted love; the more Dormammu hates the Faltin, the more he loves his sister. When the two were initially stranded on Earth, they relied on each other, struggling to survive.

Back then, Earth in ancient times was full of various Ancient Gods, who casually kneaded the Earth's core into the Earth's crust and vice versa like dough, tearing it apart and piecing it back together hundreds of times each day, making survival too difficult for the sibling who were then just small flames.

Afterwards, the Ancient Gods either died or fled, and shortly after the Earth became empty, the Celestial Gods Group arrived, bringing yet another series of holocausts akin to harvesting crops.

It was then that the Celestial Gods Group created humans and alien species, forcing Dormammu and his sister to fake their flesh and blood to blend in, living like mice every day.

Until later, when 'The First Creator' was killed by the Ancient Avengers Alliance, the Celestial Gods Group, the Eternal Race, and the Second Generation Divine Race left Earth. Dormammu then found the Dark Dimension thousands of years later, forsook his body, and transformed himself from a fire element to a dark element.

The siblings' life on Earth wasn't good, meaning they only had each other to rely upon for survival, creating their unique bond.

Even now Dormammu has Omar locked here in captivity, but the symbol of monarchy in the Dark Dimension, the crown of Regent's Fire, has Omar as its first heir.

This is considered Dormammu's final message; if he were to meet a mishap, Omar would inherit the entire Dark Dimension and become the Dark Demon God.

But he thought a little too far. At his level, dying is indeed difficult, even if the God Eater Atom came chasing Sithorn, there's no way to consume the entire Dark Dimension.

The Dark Dimension is indestructible; Dormammu is eternal and undying. Were this place steeped in a prehistoric world setting, Dormammu likely would have given himself a title like 'Nether River Ancestor'...

Su Ming understood all this, so to deal with Dormammu, leveraging his family is one of the simplest strategies, even more straightforward than using the Time Gem to play with a closed time stream.

Plus, it has the extra benefit that if Omar doesn't behave once she takes the throne, the Supreme Mage can go back to Dormammu, renegotiate terms, and swap him back.

Of course, that would only be a backup plan, prepared just in case.

Anyway, Su Ming's contract with Omar only states that he'll help her jailbreak and become King of the Dark Dimension, without any other guarantee terms; after achieving the goal, he's not responsible, even if he turns against her next time.

A language trap of this magnitude, if it were Mephisto, the Demon King more professional than lawyers, he certainly wouldn't sign it.

It can only be said Omar has been out of touch with humans for too long, unaware that Earth is no longer that pure world.

Faced with her complete lack of regret, Su Ming didn't bother to say anything; nobody knew what the Faltin folks had done to them in the past, so there's no way to judge if their revenge was appropriate.

Besides, as long as the Supreme Mage protects Earth, he won't care about the fate of aliens.

"I've thought about hatred too, but it doesn't matter. If their hatred for Dormammu is a 10, their hatred for you is just 9.9. The difference is who the ruler is now, and that person bears more responsibility. Hatred comes in degrees, so I'll explain to them human wisdom—it means choosing the lesser of two evils."

Su Ming casually pulled out a pack of spicy strips from his belt and tossed it to Omar, but she refused it as she didn't need human food.

She stood up and returned to the dressing table, starting to comb her long hair, unfazed by being called 'harm': "Since you're so confident, then I'll leave it to you. The next time Dormammu comes looking for me will be when the fixed star is blocked by a planet."

She pointed to the basketball-sized sun in the distance, a planet that even had a clock function.

Su Ming looked at her slightly receding hairline, calculated the orbit speed of the so-called planet, and then nodded: "Alright, give me some time."

After speaking, the cloak took him out from the other side of the cage, as expected, this cage only confined Demon Gods, not humans.

It's not surprising Dormammu left large gaps in the cage, considering the Dark Dimension usually doesn't have humans, right?

In this dimension where there's no up, down, left, or right, and no specific space concept, Su Ming relied only on the Magic Floating Cloak, the mage's supreme treasure. He told it he wanted to find the origin of the Faltin series of magic, and the cloak dragged him around flying chaotically within the dimension.

Several times he felt like he was going in circles, but in these regions the usual sense of space is invalid. It could be a short round trip that actually traversed different dimensions.

Not to mention countless pocket spaces and dimensional rifts separating the Dark Dimension and Main Dimension, so Su Ming's view shifted from white to black and then to colors.

After flying for an unknown length of time, Su Ming finally saw a planet in the void—in the Dark Dimension, such a red planet is quite striking.

The cloak landed him and then went on strike, indicating he had arrived.

"The journey was very bumpy, and the scenery was non-existent, thumbs down."

Su Ming took a deep breath, glanced around, and flicked the edge of the cloak with his finger.

The cloak darted aside, rushing behind his head, altering from cape shape into two long headbands, playing hide-and-seek with Strangulation.

Unable to teleport himself, relying on the cloak to traverse dimensions, was this experience its fault?

This brought back Deathstroke's original appearance, but that's fine; in the Marvel Universe, no need for the cloak to differentiate himself from other Deathstrokes. A headband is lightweight.

He stood on the crimson ground, looked up at the sky which seemed to have no atmosphere, directly revealing the magnificent galaxy, then looked at the surrounding horizon devoid of mountains, cities, or anything.

This planet is overly round, so smooth—feels like if pushed, it could slide far away like skating.

Picking a random direction, he walked while chatting with Strangulation: "This Faltin really has nothing; the land beneath isn't made of matter condensed to solidity, yet you can walk on it—first time seeing this."

Strangulation formed into little bean sprouts emerging from his shoulder, shook its head in disagreement, noting another solidified energy host had been walked on before, namely Asgard's Rainbow Bridge.

"No, the Rainbow Bridge is soft; where's the solidity in that." Su Ming stomped hard, creating a thunderous sound, but when lifting his feet, no footprints could be seen on the red ground.

Strangulation tilted its little head, at a loss for words, seemingly agreeing the Rainbow Bridge was softer and smaller each time.

The Immortal Palace person called Heimdall was useless, looking large but lacking any power.

"Faltin people and Flame Elemental Creatures probably like fire and magic—can't do magic, so how about making a fire to attract them?" Su Ming flew up to look around, all red, no point in wandering.

Strangulation agreed with the host, but noted the absence of grass—what to use for fire?

Su Ming reconsidered, pulled the headband-shaped cloak from the back of his head and stood it upright in front.

It stood like a steel beam on the ground, occasionally swaying like seaweed.

He took out a sheet of paper, wrote a note, handed it to the cloak to roll up.

"Cloak, go to the Main Dimension to deliver a message to Howard, ask him to sell me an atomic bomb—I know he definitely has a spare. He'll understand once he reads the note."

The seaweed-like cloak glanced at the Supreme Mage, then at the black bean sprouts on his shoulder pretending to be fierce, and flew away begrudgingly.
