Donna proactively started helping Su Ming drag the corpse of the monster, while Barry Albera was in charge of cleaning up the traces here. Barry had already retrieved the equipment and was researching the program on the portable computer.
Bo Bo really seemed like a secretary, holding Su Ming's phone and reporting issues to him.
"Batman is now even more wary of you."
"Let him be, you're a detective too, you know the symptoms of paranoia."
Su Ming dragged the tail of the Chimera, the part that was the snake's body, and walked deeper into the passage.
"But he also mentioned an important issue that the Justice League didn't contact Olympus at all," Bo Bo scratched his chin, a serious look in his black eyes.
"Hmm? Is that so..."
So someone intentionally notified Olympus, or specifically Athena, but why?
Could it be Eris? No, because she causes strife just to watch the chaos, but everything happening here is within the Divine Speed, which she can't see.
Is it Luthor? But doing this doesn't seem to benefit him...
For now, there aren't enough clues, so let's not overthink it. There are too many enemies of the Justice League, and plenty of people can achieve the same thing.
It's just important to be prepared to prevent interference when dealing with Hecate and the Inverted Man.
After passing through the hall, the group continued into the mountain, and the road conditions became worse again.
The path got narrower and they encountered a super deep pit, like a stadium in size, with a bottom that's too dark to see.
"This should be the pit sealing the Primordial, it leads straight to the Earth's Core."
Standing at the edge of the cliff, Bo Bo peeked down and then stepped back, lighting a cigar slowly.
In reality, as a gorilla, he grew up in a circus and never even climbed trees, so he has a fear of heights.
"Seems like you know quite a bit too." Su Ming and Donna lifted the monster, flying across a narrow path on the edge of the cliff.
"I do know a lot, but I won't go out of my way to provoke others."
"Then you're wrong. Batman is different from ordinary people. To him, 'someone who knows everything and says everything' is better than 'someone who knows everything but says nothing,' it reassures him more."
Su Ming, while flying slowly, glanced at the gorilla.
Bo Bo grinned, put the cigar back in his mouth, and used all four limbs to catch up a few steps: "That's for you guys, but I'm just a gorilla, a poor animal with no superpower."
Su Ming sighed to the sky, Bo Bo really is the smartest detective among animals, discovering even Justice League's weaknesses.
Yes, the Justice League consists of potential animal conservationists, whether they're humans turning into animals or animals suddenly gaining Super Intelligence.
They're always lenient with such villains.
It seems they naturally believe it's animal instinct that makes them bad or make mistakes, the mistakes of these Beastmen can all be forgiven.
The Human Bat goes without saying, everyone knows what he did in Gotham, yet he's now part of the Justice League as a researcher.
Beyond that, Grud, Cheetah, Crocodile Man, Sharkman, Tiger Whale, and others, these animal-themed villains, when they err, receive punishments from the Justice League that are often lenient.
It's important to know that many of these animal-themed villains are linkedto various myths, and their opponents are primarily Diana or Sea King, who both are capable of killing.
But Diana clearly has little resistance to furry Big Cats, no matter how many times Cheetah harms her, she can't bring herself to kill Cheetah.
Last time Diana needed help from Cheetah, and Cheetah's condition was for Diana to kill her after the task was completed. She was tired of her not-quite-human-or-animal form.
Due to the curse, she can't kill herself, only the Celestial Divine Power from Diana after removing her bracelets has enough power.
Diana agreed without hesitation, but after Minerva helped complete the task, she couldn't bear to hurt the Big Cat anymore. Its furry appearance was so cute, those big eyes, sharp ears were beautiful, without Cheetah, who else was there to play with?
So Diana filled Minerva with a big bowl of mind chicken soup before slipping away.
Minerva, dazed, later realized she had been tricked by Diana! Fooled by a Female Warrior whose mind was almost all muscle!
So this time Cheetah joined Luthor's camp, it made sense, her goal was to get back at Diana for not keeping her word.
What surprised Su Ming was why the Joker teamed up with Luthor, given those two never see eye to eye.
One is always talking about human spirit, wanting to build a society without gods; the other... mentioning humanity would hit his laugh point.
They don't seem compatible at all.
Unless they saw Batman and Superman's sweetness and, feeling abandoned, formed a 'Heartbreak Alliance'...
"Hmm, that's probably what Luthor's team should be called, it's full of people hurt by the Justice League."
The more Su Ming thought about it, the more it made sense, so he took the liberty to name the opponent's team and nodded in confirmation, leaving Donna puzzled.
"What does the Magic Pillar look like?" Su Ming noticed Donna's gaze and shifted the topic.
Upon hearing the question about business, Donna answered seriously: "They say it's a pillar, but it should be a super large Magic Array. The pillar of magic shouldn't be a tangible thing."
Albera followed behind the group, swaying by the cliff as she walked, looking a bit drunk, seeming like she might fall off at any moment.
"I agree with the little beauty's view, her understanding of the essence of magic is much stronger than her sister's."
Zatanna, behind her, shrugged. Though she had a better relationship with Xiaodai, the fallen Barbie Doll spoke the truth.
"Hee hee," Donna smiled smugly, if she had a tail, it would have been high in the air now.
Su Ming keenly spotted her weak point, she liked being told she was stronger than Diana because the two were too alike and were inevitably compared.
This weakness might be used by enemies, so Su Ming needed to be prepared with countermeasures, considering all possibilities.
The two flew at the forefront holding the monster's corpse, with others following. On the other side of the large pit, Su Ming saw a big door.
If he's not mistaken, that should be their destination.
He had even thought about whether to just destroy the Magic Pillar directly, like blowing up the Mage Tower of Destiny.
But in reality, that would only be a temporary fix, Hecate could find another energy point for modification, it would just cost her more effort.
So it's better to use this last place as a trap, to solve everything once and for all.
Just as Hecate thinks she's about to succeed, have Zatanna's Antithesis Magic release the Inverted Man, Hecate would probably be in ecstasy then, wouldn't she?
That's the pleasant decision he made.
