Chapter 219 - Chapter 189: Street War

These ninjas are said to be difficult to deal with, but that's only compared to the previous two groups.

Just look at the weapons they've brought out: Samurai Sword, Emei Needle, Nunchaku, and Kunai. Are they seriously going to use these against a Weapon Master in Super Armor?

Moreover, Su Ming doesn't need to hold back this time, after all, ninjas won't divulge more information.

The Hand Union is an Assassin Organization, and is in competition with Deathstroke, the mercenary. Even though it's impossible to completely uproot the Hand Union, killing a few more assassins now is a good thing.

With a change of mind, the golden long staff in his hand instantly transformed into Dual Blades, and Su Ming met their charge, brandishing the blades to slash at them.

No need for defense, just attack. Their weapons can't even leave a mark on the Holy Statue Armor, while Su Ming takes them down one by one. All their evasion techniques were accounted for, leaving no chance of escape.

Most of their ninja techniques are just Blinding Techniques. As long as he doesn't believe the illusions of his vision, relying on his superhuman brain's spatial awareness and air flow, Su Ming makes an accurate strike every time.

"Ugh!"

"Huh!"

"Banzai!"

A few seconds later, this group of cross-dressers all lay dead in the alley. After their deaths, they bizarrely turned into brown ashes, leaving nothing behind.

It's completely the style of Death Warriors, even arranging posthumous measures for their own comrades' corpses.

Next up are the people on the bus, they are agents from Leviathan, whom Su Ming knocked out and released.

The current leaders of Leviathan should be Vasili Dassaiev and Victor Uvarov. Let them continue developing slowly over in the Fur Bear area. Leviathan doesn't get along with SSR or Hydra, so they'll just add to the chaos.

Finally, there are the people in the street. These scattered individuals are of unknown origins. Su Ming originally planned to sweep through them, but after knocking a few down, the others realized the situation and shouted "Hail Hydra," instantly uniting.

Su Ming discovered they didn't know each other initially. Only after shouting the slogan did they confirm they were on the same side, which prompted him to stay alert.

It seems there aren't just Red Skull's people here; subordinates of other leaders have also been sent.

Over the years, he's gathered some intelligence, learning that the situation differs slightly from the comics and movies.

For example, Wolfgang von Strucker, codenamed Baron Strucker, was Hydra's original leader. He later clashed with Red Skull, who nearly killed him, so he fled to Japan to start anew. Though still called Hydra, he and the Germans went in different directions and are now researching electromagnetic weapons.

Then there's Daniel Whitehall. He and his followers should be in Southeast Asia, searching for mystical items for Xiaohuzi, and researching Tibet's legends of immortality.

In addition, there are other leaders whose whereabouts are unknown.

Names like 'Viper,' 'Kraken,' Baron Zemo, 'Hive,' and 'Medusa.'

Counting Red Skull and Dr. Zola, there are nine people in total.

They are Hydra's current generation of leaders.

After Strucker was overthrown, none of them acknowledge each other. Now, they mostly operate independently, occasionally engaging in internal conflict.

They are all future patrons, so for now, it's best not to kill their subordinates. But Su Ming is determined to obtain the SSS Serum; others will have to wait for the next opportunity.

......

With exceedingly high running speed, Su Ming transformed into a black and yellow phantom. These people were very professional, all using silencers on their pistols, which bought him more time.

Running on the slippery road, Deathstroke rushed at each agent quickly. Tomatoes by the roadside were blown away by bullets, and stray bullets hitting lamp posts sparked like fireworks.

Their resistance was futile. Before long, everyone on the street was taken down by the unpredictably lengthening and shortening golden long staff.

He glanced at the two knocked-out SSR agents by the doorway, then gathered some newspapers to cover them up.

Such a pity, with nearly every well-known organization of this era present, you've been infiltrated too.

He walked to the antique store entrance, wiping bloodstains off his armor. After all, he was about to meet everyone as Deathstroke for the first time, so he ought to make a good impression, right?

Too much bloodshed isn't good; he plans to con S.H.I.E.L.D. for money in the future.

And so came the scene of him "politely" walking into the antique store earlier.

The elderly lady running the store was too old, and Su Ming worried she couldn't endure being hit with the Godslayer. So he used his long-unused weapon, the Deathstroke-standard titanium alloy long staff, to give her a zap.

A flash of blue light passed through the cluttered antique store, and the old lady instantly collapsed. Let's hope she didn't have a heart condition.

But with her firing off shots, those below would surely know an intruder had arrived, so there was no time to worry about the elderly's health.

Su Ming went directly behind the counter, took the Nightfall Greatsword off his back, and thrust it at the bookshelf.

The guards at the entrance obviously detected the commotion outside, but before they could react, a piece of pitch-black metal pierced through the thick door in front of them.

They were stunned. The door was the same level as the White House's tunnel door—yet it was so easily breached by a cold weapon?

Looking at the Nightfall Greatsword glinting with X Metal, it was like they were gazing into the cosmos, feeling an intense chill.

This was Su Ming's specially designed dramatic entrance.

Of course, he knew there was a secret door switch beneath the counter, but wouldn't that render his entrance less imposing?

Directly destroying what they held invincible would bring more shock to them.

"Ch-ch-ch....."

The great sword moved slowly, a heavy steel door slicing open like butter. Had it not been spitting sparks and scorching their uniforms, the soldiers guarding the underground lab might've thought they were hallucinating.

"Boom!"

In less than five seconds, a circular hole appeared in the door, the cut metal falling like a giant coin.

A person clad in yellow and black armor appeared before them.

Su Ming had noticed the flickering streetlights outside, knowing Stark was drawing power from New York, causing unstable voltage. After taking care of everyone outside and entering here, the lights continued to flicker.

It seems Captain America's sunbathing was only halfway done, precisely as calculated.

"Hello, I'm your new neighbor, my name is Deathstroke."

Slinging the Nightfall Greatsword over his back, Su Ming waved gently, like a supervisor conducting an inspection.

"Fire!"

Of course, the soldiers wouldn't greet him warmly. Cutting through the door like that made him an obvious enemy.

The dread of the unknown and strict security protocols prompted the soldiers to take aim and fire frantically at Su Ming.

Su Ming shook his head, truly unfriendly. The weapons in your hands are even sponsored by Wilson Enterprises.

He couldn't be bothered to use Godslayer, instead just using the titanium alloy long staff to carve his path.

Sweeping, lifting, shocking—despite the commendable discipline these soldiers had, ordinary men couldn't stop a Super Soldier. Within a corridor of about a hundred meters, Su Ming reached the lab door in seconds.

At the door, a female officer was cornered, curled up in a corner. Blood and bodies littered the hallway, yet they couldn't even hinder the armored man.

In an instant, he was in front of her. His exquisite martial arts and powerful physique made the combat seem like a dazzling performance.

She noticed the red monocle focusing on her, rendering her too afraid to fire, since previous attempts proved bullets futile.

"Don't worry, they're not dead. You can now thank me on behalf of all American women."

While saying this, Su Ming tapped the spot on his mask where his lips were.

She was Colonel Philip's secretary, Officer Lorraine, a side character in the Marvel World. However, the actress playing this role went by the nickname 'Little Rose.' Su Ming had seen her performances in "Elementary" and "Game of Thrones."

Encountering someone both familiar and foreign, Su Ming's mood lightened slightly. This world was indeed a mix of everything, but at least there was another person he knew now.
