It didn't take even a full day for Yuji to completely control his cursed energy. In fact, much to Gojo's surprise, after getting punched by the cursed doll the first time, it never woke up again, even if Yuji got distracted.
Gojo tried action movies, sad movies, mystery movies, and even horror movies; yet, no matter how Yuji reacted to the movie, nothing changed. So long as his palm stayed on the doll to give it cursed energy, it wouldn't wake up.
"Yo, Yuji," Gojo called out from the door behind Yuji, as Yuji turned around on the couch to see him.
"Yes, Gojo-sensei?"
"You're making good progress on your training. Your level of cursed energy control has massively improved in just a few hours. I'm not even sure you needed that long, either. Whatever that binding vow did for you, it's definitely working—although I'm a bit worried that just agreeing not to run from Sukuna when the time comes was an equal trade for this."
"Anyway, I'm heading out to, uh... handle something. I'll be back in no time. Maybe by then, I'll know what you can work on next," Gojo said, as Yuji nodded.
"I understand."
Seeing Yuji would be fine there, Gojo had some business to attend to. After all, an energy equal to a special grade had been following him and seemed too cowardly to come out and face him directly, so he'd lure it out.
He sat in the back seat of a car as Ijichi drove him towards where Principal Yaga wanted to meet.
"I'm surprised you're choosing to get there so early..." Ijichi said, trying to make conversation.
"Yeah, so am I."
"So, do you need a pit stop or anything? There's still a lot of time before that meeting."
"No thanks. Actually, stop here," Gojo said, as Ijichi stopped the car, letting Gojo step out.
"You go ahead to the principal."
"What?! Uh, am I being tested? You won't, like, beat me up if I really leave, right?" Ijichi was starting to get worried.
"What do you take me for?" Gojo asked, a bit offended.
Ijichi decided to stay quiet and drive away as instructed.
"Well then..."
CRASH!!
Jogo slammed into the ground, leaving a deep crater where Gojo once stood. However, being much too slow, Gojo was already looking down at Jogo from the edge of the crater with his hands casually in his pockets.
"Take this!" Jogo gestured as a mini volcano manifested in the wall to Gojo's side, instantly engulfing Gojo in searing hot magma, leaving him blanketed in smoke as well as burning away a massive portion of the forest surrounding the area.
"Was that it? He was nothing special!" Jogo said to himself, grinning.
Gojo, remembering what Sukuna said just before Yuji fainted, felt extremely annoyed at this moment.
"Hehehe, who the hell are you calling 'nothing special,' baldy?" Gojo said, as Jogo grit his teeth.
"Stupid brat!"
'I can communicate with him normally. As expected of a special grade, they're just that special. Guys like him don't pop up all over the place,' Gojo thought, a smile gracing his face once again.
"Hehe, things are starting to get interesting."
"Why so silent? Losing heart?" Jogo said, mistaking Gojo's silence as fear.
"Don't kid yourself, idiot." Gojo let him make the first move as he cracked his knuckles.
"Ha, you humans have no sense of danger!" Jogo said as multiple magma bugs came from the volcano on his head, immediately surrounding Gojo and charging at him, only to be caught in his neutral infinity.
"I wonder what happens if they sting me..." Gojo mused, as suddenly all the bugs began screeching violently before they all exploded.
Appearing at the top of the overlooking cliff, Gojo smirked.
"Combining both sonic and explosive attacks. Very impressive..."
Just as he said this, Jogo was already beside him as he swiped at Gojo's head, causing it to burst into flames.
"There's more!" Jogo shouted, putting a hand on Gojo's chest and blasting him point-blank with lava once more.
"Is that it? So that guy was exaggerating. Humans these days are so weak; they don't live in truth!" Jogo complained, his grin falling with boredom.
"So deplorable, it makes me sick," Jogo said, agitated. "Real strength, and the truth. Through death, it will soon be spread!"
"This shit again?" Gojo complained. "When are you gonna learn?"
"How?!" Jogo questioned.
"Uh, short answer: you never hit me," Gojo said, waving the smoke away from his face.
"You're lying! That's not what I saw! I definitely killed you!" Jogo grit his teeth, the temperature rising around them once again.
"Nah, what you touched was... the infinity between me and you."
Holding up his hand, Gojo put on a goofy smile.
"Here, I'll show ya. Put out your hand~"
'Well, there's no killing intent. It can't hurt to find out, at least...' Jogo thought as he tried to put his hand on Gojo's.
VUUURRRNN
"What's this?" Jogo muttered. His hand was touching something that kept him away from Gojo himself.
"See? I'm not touching you at all," Gojo smiled, seeing his reaction.
'This is infinity? I can't touch him; my hand stops just before...'
"I know what you're thinking. It's not stopping you entirely; it's slowing you down faster the closer you get to me." Gojo got a mischievous smile on his face suddenly. "So, whaddaya think? Wanna hold hands?"
"No thanks!" Jogo said, trying to move away, but Gojo already closed his hand around Jogo's and then...
"Don't be shy, you're making me feel embarrassed~" Gojo smiled as, before Jogo could even process it all...
WHAM!
Gojo's palm slammed violently into Jogo's stomach as he spit out blood.
'How! He didn't even use cursed energy in the attack!' Jogo thought as he saw Gojo pulling his hand back again.
THWACK! THWACK! THWACK!
Three more blows harder than the last shattered Jogo's ribs as he was left in the air in front of Gojo from the impacts.
Before he could fall, Gojo held up a single finger and spoke.
"Remember this. Infinity is something that is naturally there; I just bring it into reality..."
"Convergence and Divergence. If you touch this empty space, what would happen?"
CURSED TECHNIQUE REVERSAL: RED
Jogo's eyes widened as he was violently thrown away by a blinding red force, blowing him through countless trees before he managed to correct himself mid-air.
"RAAAGGGHH!" Jogo unleashed a blast of magma in front of himself, yet Gojo was already behind him as he punted Jogo into the lake in the distance.
"Oh shit, this is the perfect opportunity!" Gojo muttered to himself before vanishing in a teleport.
Meanwhile, Jogo was floating in the water before using cursed energy to stand atop it as he panted. He was remembering how Geto told him if he tried to fight Gojo, he would die, and he laughed.
'Hahaha, that man was right... but if I can't hit him, I'll just use my domain!' Jogo began to let his cursed energy heal him as he looked around for where exactly Gojo was.
"Where'd he go??" Jogo muttered when, behind him, he heard it.
"Sorry 'bout that." Gojo appeared holding Yuji by the back of his shirt as Yuji questioned how they got here.
"Thanks for waiting."
Jogo, however, was more surprised seeing Yuji here.
"He's...."
'That boy is Sukuna's vessel!'
"Yuji here is going to be sitting in on today's class!" Gojo said cheerfully.
"MT. FUJI! HIS HEAD IS MT. FUJI!" Yuji pointed at Jogo.
