"Let's all take down one at a time!" The leader shouted.
Everyone nodded, tightened their guards, and held onto the creatures' lives.
Si-Hun didn't say anything, nor did he move; he just stood there, watching how every type of monster attacked.
Every strike sat in his mind as if he was memorizing how they moved.
"Pretty lousy…they seem like they have been trained earlier for this,'' Si-Hun muttered as he saw a predator and a monster getting closer while fighting.
He stepped to avoid getting struck.
His instincts shot over as he took out his sword just in case.
The monster seemed to be VERY stubborn; it dodged every attack the predator made.
"Precise for a D rank…" Si-Hun whispered under his breath as a smirk appeared on his face.
"It looks like I should step in before the monster strikes him badly."
"Uh-uh…I have a better idea…" Si-Hun said as he looked over to Kuro.
"What are you thinking?" He asked, squinting his eyes.
"I want to enter this monster's body and fight as him," he told him.
"You sure?''
"Yes."
"Go ahead then," Kuro said, smirking.
They found a dark corner and hid there.
Si-Hun took a deep breath and closed his eyes.
"Transfer." He spoke as his body started to fade on command.
"He did look at the precautions?" Kuro said.
Si-Hun's shadow was left behind, and he was outside the monster's body.
"Si-Hun manipulated the monster and took control over him.
"I would have to make sure I don't die…" Si-Hun said as he smiled internally.
The predator was suspicious for a second about something he didn't even know.
He struck his sword hard.
The sound of metal clicking echoed in the room.
Slowly, they didn't even notice how fast the speed was going, which attracted every other predator and even the monster…
They both were in the zone, and every strike increased the precision and speed.
Kuro stood there, mouth open.
"H-he is vulnerable to attacks!" Kuro whispered under his breath.
The predator was being dragged behind as his sword clicked with the monster's, his feet creasing the ground, testing his skills.
"How is that monster so fast!?" A predator said.
"We need to stop them before our predator gets hurt!" The leader shouted.
"Back off!" The predator looked over to him, and that single mistake made him vulnerable to an attack, but before the sword hit his eye, Si-Hun stopped it right there.
The sword lingered near his eye, and the predator froze.
His breathing shook as he stepped back, sweating.
"You could've died if you kept up longer!" The leader spoke.
Si-Hun took a few breaths, then decided to return to his body.
"Transfer…" He muttered again.
The monster slowly closed his eyes, then opened them shut, snapping back into reality.
He looked over to all of his mates and was confused as to why no one was fighting.
In one of those predators was Shin Rahee… The same predator who was suspicious about Si-Hun months ago.
"It's suspicious how the monster looked unaware of what was happening…as if someone had taken over his senses…And where is Si-Hun?" She whispered under her breath, glancing here and there to spot Si-Hun.
Si-Hun always knew this woman was suspicious of him, so he kept quiet near her.
Si-Hun returned after a few seconds, joining their group sneakily.
Shin Rahee's eyes immediately snapped his way.
Si-Hun narrowed his eyes, sensing someone was watching him.
"She won't leave me!" Si-Hun thought as he shot a glance at Rahee.
Rahee was a stubborn girl, so she stared back.
Si-Hun closed his eyes while turning away, as he knew she wasn't worth giving his time.
"Everyone! Go back to killing monsters now!" The leader shouted as everyone got back to work.
Si-Hun didn't say anything and went near that goblin and struck him with his sword, killing him in one attempt.
The predator who was fighting with that monster was standing there, jaw dropping to the ground.
Si-Hun just passed him an awkward smile before rubbing the back of his neck and leaving.
"That was close…" He said to Kuro.
Everyone finished the monsters in some time and packed up to enter the next chamber.
No one knew if it was the boss chamber or another monster chamber.
They all stood in front of the gate, which was bigger than the previous one.
"Let's all push together again! Let teamwork shine through!"
Everyone, including Si-Hun, put force to open the door.
Just like before, even this time, Si-Hun was the ONLY one who even made an effort!
The gate opened, revealing what they had been predicting before.
