Chapter 1099 - Chapter 802: Got Them Wrapped Around My Finger_3

"So, can we beat Kael?" George continued to ask.

"We can!" Fred said, then added, "As long as we don't use wands, we can. He can't just use the Fiendfyre Curse on us."

"True." George rubbed his chin, "Then when Dad's not paying attention, we can hold him down together."

"Alright, let's do it."

The two were plotting their plan, and when they looked up, they saw Kael extending a hand.

This wasn't the main point.

The main point was, there was a bag in that hand, filled with Galleons, roughly estimated, at least over a hundred.

The two blinked, momentarily stunned in place.

"What are you standing there foolishly for, take it." Kael said.

"Huh?" Fred and George were a bit baffled.

"It's like this, that Communication Coin you didn't have time to make, I made it, and even earned a bit." Kael explained.

"Since you made it, why give us the money." Fred asked.

"Cedric decided it." Kael said, "He's been helping me these days. Originally, I was going to give him a share for his hard work, but he didn't want it.

"He said you've been doing his job these days, so he asked me to give this to you."

"Huh?"

"Do you want it or not? If not, I'll take the Galleons back." Kael pretended to withdraw the coins.

"We want it!"

"Of course, we want it!"

The two quickly snatched the bag from Kael's hand, opened it, and counted carefully.

There were a total of 200 Galleons, much more than they had estimated.

"Oh, how could we possibly accept this."

"Yeah, we were just doing our normal work, we really shouldn't." They said as they quickly stuffed the Galleons into their pockets.

"By the way, I think I overheard you planning to hold me down and beat me?" Kael drawled, "Now that Mr. Weasley is not here, what a perfect opportunity."

"What do you mean by that? You must have misheard."

"We're best buddies, there's no way we would do such a lowly thing."

"Yeah, yeah, you must have heard wrong."

...

The previous battle plan seemed to vanish instantly, and the two enthusiastically came over, kneading Kael's shoulders and massaging his arms, acting overly flattering.

But before Kael could enjoy it for long, Mr. Weasley appeared, holding an excited Ron as they came out of the office.

"Hermione has already returned, she should be at the entrance to the Auror Office now. I'll take you over."

"Alright." Kael nodded and turned to follow them.

Fred and George courteously escorted him all the way to the lift.

"How exactly did you do it?" Ron couldn't help but ask after the lift doors closed, "How come they've changed their attitude towards you so much all of a sudden?"

"Oh, nothing, just some insignificant little tricks." Kael laughed.

As always, dealing with the Weasley Brothers, he knew exactly how to handle them.

...

The lift stopped at the second floor, and they stepped out.

Just as Mr. Weasley had said, Hermione was waiting at the entrance to the Auror Office.

After working at the Muggle-Worthy Excuse Committee for nearly a month, she looked a bit thinner than before.

But unlike Ron, her eyes didn't show any signs of fatigue, nor did she seem relieved that it was finally over.

Quite the opposite, she seemed to have a lingering desire for more.

"Do I have to finish today? My work improvement plan is almost complete."

Upon seeing them, she immediately approached, "School doesn't start until September, right? There's still three days left, why end so quickly?"

Confirmed, she really did want more.

Ron looked at her like he was staring at a monster.

"No rush, Hermione." Mr. Weasley softly said, "Whatever you want to write can be done at home, plus, school is starting soon, you all need to prepare in advance."

"But I've already gone through all the seventh-year content," Hermione blurted out, "And finished all the homework on the second day of vacation, I really don't have much to prepare."

Mr. Weasley instinctively glanced at Ron and then shook his head, withdrawing his gaze. "Then take these days to relax, don't always think about work, remember, you're still a student."
