"Of course, for various reasons, I didn't actually resign. She kept my position and office, so I can go back anytime if I want."
"But..." Before the two could speak, Kael continued, "It's definitely impossible for now. I need to hide from You-Know-Who, so I can only stay here."
"Really?" George looked at Kael suspiciously.
If this were true, he really didn't need to go to such lengths for the Ministry of Magic.
"Why not stay and see if I go to work tomorrow?"
The two didn't speak, they just whispered to each other, discussing something.
A few minutes later, Fred raised his head, "If we help Cedric, will you lend us the Golden Cup?"
"Don't put it that way, making it sound like I have some motive," Kael said. "I just want him to be able to eat anytime, otherwise he might end up fainting from hunger like Hermione."
"Of course, if you really want to go, that's fine too. If he has time to rest, then he won't need the Golden Cup, so it doesn't matter who I lend it to."
"Alright, we'll go to the Ministry of Magic," George stepped forward and said, "Lend us the Golden Cup."
"Don't force yourself," Kael said with a smile. "School is about to start, and your business is likely busy. I'll think of another way for Cedric."
Saying this, he pretended to put away the Golden Cup.
"Not forced, not at all," Fred immediately put on a smile. "Oh, we were just joking with you before."
"Yeah, if Cedric's in trouble, as friends, we definitely have to help."
"Actually, even if you hadn't said anything, we were planning to go to the Ministry of Magic tomorrow."
"But don't you dislike Ministry work?" Kael asked.
"No matter how much we dislike it, for friendship... we'll overcome it," George said with a forced smile.
"What about Diagon Alley then..."
"You might not know, this time the school will be using owl post to buy the things needed for the new term, so they'll go directly to Hogwarts and won't need to go to Diagon Alley."
"Muggle-born kids will also have professors take them to Gringotts to exchange for Galleons."
"I think the professors surely won't put our shop's name on the admission notice."
"So we won't participate in the lively scenes before school starts."
"No way," Kael frowned.
"It's true," George explained, "Ron received the notice."
"And it's not the first time this has happened."
"I heard Bill mention that when You-Know-Who was still around, Hogwarts did this to prevent Death Eaters from frantically attacking new students."
"There will also be more than three professors escorting on the train."
"If that's the case..." Kael handed them the Golden Cup, "Then your shop really doesn't need to stay open."
As the shop that appears most often on the banned list, of course professors wouldn't procure their stuff.
"That's a bit harsh."
"Though it's true."
The two wiped their hands and solemnly accepted the Golden Cup from Kael.
But in the next second, they showed another look.
"Hahaha, finally got it!"
"Who would have thought, now it's too late for you to regret!"
"What, are you guys planning to back out?" Kael looked at them meaningfully.
"Backing out is not it, since we promised, we will help Cedric," George said. "However, if we find out you deceived us, when this Golden Cup gets returned to you is uncertain."
"It doesn't matter, it's up to you," Kael said with a smile, seemingly not concerned at all.
Perhaps fearing Kael would back out, after getting the Golden Cup, the two couldn't wait to leave.
As the door closed again, a smile appeared on Kael's lips.
Anyway, he finally managed to trick two strong helpers into assisting.
As for the Golden Cup issue... he's really not worried, it's too simple, not to mention it's as easy as pie.
Let's put it this way, even if he wants the Golden Cup back tomorrow, just a word to Mrs. Weasley would make them obediently return it.
Ironically, they've never realized this themselves.
