Chapter 361 - Chapter 233: Arrival at the Area Zero Research Institute! New Possibilities?

Naoki looked at the Scream Tail from a distance.

"...Currently, capturing Paradox Pokemon is far more challenging than I imagined."

"It's not only because Paradox Pokemon are inherently fierce and aggressive, but also because they can't communicate with humans like normal Pokemon, and can't understand my intentions."

Is there any other way besides conquering it with force?

At that moment, Naoki suddenly remembered that he once used the Water of the Reversed World from Giratina to make a series of reversing cuisine.

But another issue arose.

Though there are reversing cuisines that can change Scream Tail's personality.

But, Giratina quickly recovered last time; does this mean the cuisine's effect isn't permanent?

If he takes Scream Tail back, briefly reverses its temperament, making it obedient, but someday when he's not paying attention, Scream Tail reverts to its true nature...

Naoki didn't dare to gamble.

He hesitated for a moment internally and then instructed Koraidon to hold tight, stepping forward to stroke Scream Tail hard.

Only after satisfying his tactile addiction did he release his grip and pressed a Poke Ball against Scream Tail, first capturing it inside, then activating the release function of the Poke Ball.

A beam of red light flashed, and Scream Tail's figure left the Poke Ball.

It growled, baring its teeth threateningly.

"Agha!"

Seeing this, Koraidon let out a loud roar, and its terrifying aura turned into a gust of wind sweeping towards Scream Tail.

Instinctively, Scream Tail immediately turned to flee and quickly disappeared from sight.

Koraidon was relieved to see this scene; it confirmed that it had never seen this Pokemon's presence on the ranch!

Meanwhile, Naoki ran to Pawmot's side, petting his sweet-natured baby, unable to help but sigh internally: "Modern Pokemon are still cuter!"

Pawmot enjoyed the gentle stroking immensely, tilting its head back in pleasure.

Beside them, Dragonite saw this scene and also came over for a touch.

"Alright, everyone gets a pet!"

Naoki started giving the group of Pokemon a simple massage.

After a brief rest at the second observation station, they continued onward.

This time, Naoki didn't continue to walk on the ground; he climbed onto Koraidon, ready to ride it and break through Paldea Giant Pit, heading to the deepest part of Zone Zero.

Koraidon's descent speed was extremely fast, accompanied by the sound of wind, and the surroundings were quickly changing.

The deeper they went, the darker it became, with caves and cliffs visible everywhere, towering waterfalls spilling from above. For a moment, Naoki felt as if he had entered another world.

At the same time, the number and scale of the strange Crystals were increasing visibly until Koraidon landed on a massive Tera Pillar.

Standing there, Naoki saw the human buildings standing below.

Those must be the institutes built by the two professors in Zone Zero.

"Let's go! Let's head over!" Naoki said.

Koraidon turned and looked around, its expression becoming somewhat glum, seemingly not fond of this place.

But looking at Naoki's figure walking ahead, it still lifted its feet to follow.

"Just like in the game, Zone Zero has a lot of Crystals," Naoki remarked, looking at the surroundings and talking to himself.

Logically, sunlight shouldn't be able to reach such a deep area.

But surprisingly, this vast hollow is so bright and spacious.

Without question, all this light comes from the colorful Crystals embedded in the ground and walls, illuminating the entire bottom layer of the Giant Pit.

As they continued forward, some rare Pokemon began to appear, difficult to encounter outside.

These were known as "Glimmet" and "Glimmora" Pokemon.

They blossomed on the Crystals, appearing mysterious and beautiful.

There was an enormous number of Glimmora; their roots adhered closely to the Crystals, as if sprouting from within.

As Naoki and Koraidon passed by them, these Glimmora only slightly moved their petals.

"Beautiful and radiant Glimmora blooms on Tera, carrying Toxic..." This looked rather eerie.

Naoki shivered inexplicably, deliberately bypassing the Glimmora and arriving at a winding downward tunnel.

A signpost at the entrance indicated that this passage led to the institute.

"Alright, there should be no danger on the path ahead!"

Finally reaching here, Naoki couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief internally.

He led Koraidon onward, but as they passed through the tunnel, they suddenly saw a mysterious Pokemon on a solitary, gigantic Tera Pillar ahead.

That Pokemon was covered in a layer of green metallic armor, with green spikes resembling thorns protruding from holes in the armor, forming a complete chain of thorns.

Wasn't that... Iron Thorns, the future variant of Tyranitar?!

Naoki paused slightly, and as he noticed the Iron Thorns, it also noticed him, gazing over with its cold, emotionless metallic eyes.

Unexpectedly, Iron Thorns did not immediately attack like Scream Tail.

It just stood there motionlessly, its gaze shifting as Naoki moved.

"Just as recorded, Iron Thorns has an extremely calm disposition, disliking unnecessary combat..." Naoki murmured.
