Chapter 1226 - Chapter 393: Effective Blessing_3

"I'm glad I'm not an ordinary god."

He jested a little.

Upon hearing this, Ian thought of his nonsensical experiences and couldn't help but smile wryly, "To be honest, I came to this era by chance as well, just in time for this disaster."

Indeed, for Ian, constantly traversing through history is not any fun adventure; he still fondly remembers his domineering days at Hogwarts.

Alas, fate is full of mischief, and much is said in tears.

Seeing Ian's expression, Ra's gaze turned profound.

"In the world of magic, Ian Prince, there are never coincidences; the flow of time, the meeting of destinies, all have their profound meanings. Your presence here may be the very choice of time itself." Beings like them enjoy speaking in riddles, with a character suggesting they'd perish without doing so.

Ian wanted to ask more questions, but distant noises suddenly arose. Priestess Carina led a large group of survivors rushing towards them, their faces beaming with the joy of surviving a calamity and devotion to the gods.

"Ra! It's truly Ra returning to the human world!" Carina exclaimed excitedly and knelt on the ground, followed by the crowd, the entire scene solemn and majestic.

Sun God Ra turned to his people, emitting warm divine light, beginning to soothe the startled faithful, heal the wounded, and purify the polluted land.

In this sacred and bustling scene, Ian quietly withdrew. The evil god had been vanquished, the city was reviving, and he had found what he had been searching for in this era—not only the fragments of the Eye of the Ra but also precious knowledge about the origins of his family.

It was time to leave this era.

Ian Prince quietly exited the crowd, taking advantage of when everyone was focused on worshiping Sun God Ra, he silently traversed the ruins, reaching the back of a half-collapsed pyramid. Here was relatively secluded, away from the gaze of others, with only slivers of sunlight seeping through the crevices of stones onto the ground.

He took a deep breath, slipped off what appeared to be a simple silver ring from his finger. The ring surface was etched with minuscule Rune Language, glimmering faintly in the sunlight.

This was the portable time machine he procured from Female Titan Claire, its exterior disguised as an ordinary ring, revealing its true form only when needed.

"Restore," Ian softly recited the spell, tossing the ring onto the ground before him.

In midair, the ring began to transform, spreading and restructuring like a blooming metal flower.

Within the silver stream, a device resembling Doraemon's time machine gradually took shape—a domed cabin, red seats, a control panel adorned with buttons and dials flickering with multicolored lights.

Ian took one last gaze at the reviving city. In the distance, Sun God Ra was performing miracles, where the golden light reached, the buildings and land polluted by the evil god were returning to their original state.

The surviving people knelt, faces filled with hope and piety. Priestess Carina led the believers in singing ancient hymns, praising the rebirth of the sun.

Though the scene was full of scars, life was already sprouting amidst the ruins. The Nile River's water had grown clear again, plants on the banks were budding anew, even the air felt fresh. This was a city drastically damaged but now healing, a civilization welcoming the dawn after experiencing darkness.

"Quite a distinctive era."

Ian murmured softly, opened the time machine's cabin door, and stepped inside.

Just as he was about to start the machine, a shaft of golden light suddenly descended from the sky, enveloping the entire time machine. Ian looked up in surprise to see Sun God Ra afar, slightly nodding towards him, his golden eyes bearing understanding and blessing.

"Thank you for your help, traveler of time and executor of fate." Ra's voice sounded directly in his mind, "May the sun forever guide your path."

This was also a blessing.

Different from the previous blessing from Pluton and his wife.

It took effect.
