[10:30 p.m.]
Three students were seen dashing through the shadows, no one saw them.
It was like they were shadows, or perhaps they had done this routine so much that they were used to it but one student saw them because he also was used to this routine
Elior Vayne
"Today is the day huh" Elior said wearing his gear before jumping down.
The three shadows moved and Elior followed quietly. Today, he had an objective.
Infiltrating the base as Kain
As the three students reached the tunnels, Elior followed quietly inside
While the other two students moved ahead, Elior putting on the mask tapped Kain on the shoulder.
Disguised as Kain, Elior punched him so hard that he fell unconscious.
Elior caught Kain on time before taking his gear.
"We will meet later, Mr Kain" Elior said smiling
Elior touched the button on the side of the mask as he wore Kain gear
*Beep*
Elior felt a glow behind him as his face distorted, the other two students ahead felt the unexpected brightness and decided to move back swiftly to identify the threat
"Kill the person on sight" one of the figures spoke
The other nodded quietly.
As they both arrived, they saw Kain
"What is wrong, mister Kain?" one of the figures spoke
Elior gulped for a second before speaking up
"Nothing, I thought someone was here as well"
The two figures stared at each other blankly intensifying the atmosphere.
'Have I been caught?' the question racing through Elior mind. Sweat dripped over him as his heartbeat became faster.
"Okay, let's go, we can't keep the master waiting" one of the figures spoke as both began running ahead
'Phew' Elior breathed a sigh of relief as he followed right behind them
On arriving at the door, Eloir stood still as the leader of the three of them went towards the door
"Password" a guard asked as the slot of the door was open
The figure spoke "From the stars we came. To the stars we return."
The door slot closed before opening welcoming them.
As Elior entered, his eyes scanned the whole building trying to catch a glimpse of the leader of the whole operation.
Following the other two, Elior entered an office where a man was sitting on his chair smoking as he faced the windows
"Greetings sir" the three said including Elior as they bowed in respect
"Okay, so how is the progress on your end?" the figure asked before turning his chair to take a look at them
The figure too wore a mask concealing his identity
'Tch, wish he had shown his face', Elior said as he thought
"It's going well, just as you predicted it would sir" the figure beside Elior spoke
The man just smiled before speaking up
"Yes, all according to the plan"
Elior wanted to get more information, so he spoke up
"Sir, I would like to get details on the plan?"
The man looked at Elior cold piercingly before speaking up
"What? Did you forget the plan, kid?"
Elior gulped before answering nervously "Yes sir"
The atmosphere got tense for a whole two minutes before the man spoke up frustratingly
"Voss, where did you find this shithead"
'Who is Voss?' Elior thought to himself before a figure stepped forward
'So, you are him' Elior thought to himself as he saw the figure who has always been speaking for them stepped up
"Sir, he is Kain from year 1. He is just a fresh student, pls forgive him" Voss said as he bowed down his head
"Okay" the figure said
"We have been setting some bombs around the school, in-case you forgot"
As the figure spoke, Elior tapped Voss on his shoulder asking "Hey Voss, where did we put the bombs exactly. My memory is hazy, a little tipsy is what is the cause"
Voss sighed in frustration before speaking "In the attic at the uncompleted building and the labs"
Elior smiled saying "Thanks"
"It would be particularly easy since the headmistress is out of the way," the figure finally said
Elior felt tension rising
'Kidnapped, what, when did that happen?' Elior thought to himself
'It was not part of my writings'
As Elior was tensed, the figure which had been talking suddenly became quiet staring at Kain
"What is your name again?" The figure thought to himself
"My name is Kain" Elior said nervously
"I mean, what is your real name and can I see your demonic symbol?"
'Oh shit'
Elior took a step back before speaking up
"My name is Kain, for real"
"Okay, what about your demonic crest?" the figure asked as his eyes pierced coldly
Elior stepped back for a second
"Keep him" the figure said
Elior turned around and jolted, as Elior was about to run through the halls, people stood before blocking his way
"Ignum", as Elior said it, he was cloaked in darkness
"Siskom" Elior said as he jumped in the air, running past them.
The figure then spoke, "Tikeam", a spell which reversed Elior magic, but it was already too late
Elior had crawled through the windows and began running
Elior ran as fast as he could avoiding to turn back, as he heard footsteps chasing him
As Elior got to the bridge where he had dumped Kain, he threw Kain's robe on him
"Thanks buddy", As Elior left the tunnel, he jumped on top of the bridge before laying there to rest.
"Phew, they can't be that dumb to leave the tunnel"
Elior said it as he scoffed lying down on the floor
"So, headmistress Vale is kidnapped without anyone knowing"
"There are bombs around the school and I have no way of finding them"
"That man is strong, and I only have five days until the hall"
"I hope everything will be fine"
