As Elior moved forward, lost in thought, two figures leapt from the surrounding buildings, landing directly in front of him.
Elior held Kurotsume firmly but before he could react, the two figures fell face first on the floor
"Hey, Elior," Professor Arwen said, holding one of the unconscious figures.
"Hey Professor" Elior answered back averting his gaze from the bloody scene before him
He had not gotten the fact of killing out of his mind
Professor Arwen who was once smiling saw the decapitated head beside Elior
"Didn't think you had it in you kid" Arwen said smiling at Elior
Elior's face turned pale at her words, immediately alerting Professor Arwen.
"I did not know it took a toll on you"
Elior just kept quiet before speaking up
"I did not defeat him by my power; he allowed me to kill him"

"We need to free the headmistress; she has been kidnapped"
"Where is she?" Professor Arwen said in a serious tone
"Let's go, we don't have much time"
Elior and Professor Arwen both moved hastily
Lyra and the students were surrounded by so many in masks, as the figure sat at the stage looking in awe
"Kill them" the figure snapped his fingers and the fight started
The students began to fight but were heavily pushed back, they were a cocky generation who were over reliant on Arcana which had become their evident weakness
Few students could still fight despite that being Aiden and the protagonists, Lyra, the student council and few third years
As Lyra was fighting, her gaze averted checking for her brother Elior in the ground which made her grew more impatient the more she did not see him
A sudden kick slammed into Lyra's side, sending her crashing into a table of scattered food trays, the figure walked up to her
"Lyra, upstaged me into becoming student council president, do you think I would forget" the figure said
Lyra looked up, a deep frown forming on her face "I can't believe you joined them, Senior Voss."
"The people name are Genesis guess you don't know that because our parents and adults are keeping us in a bubble"
Voss removed the cloth to reveal himself
"Let me help myself to a buffet" Voss said charging
"I would feed you to the dogs" Lyra said with a smirk
As Voss fists and Lyra blade clashed, a loud echo surrounded the halls. Aiden who had just finished taking down his man looked at the whole area
'Where are the teachers' Aiden thought to himself
Earlier, Aiden noticed the teacher being pale as they ran out of the gown, suddenly the terrorist group attacked.
A question lingered in Aiden's mind — were the teachers killed, or had something else happened?
As Aiden dwindled in thought, Aiden noticed Aria struggling against a figure.
Aria was not a melee fighter but she could hold her own a little, but the overwhelming number had it increasingly painful for her to deal with
Aiden rushed kicking the figure away before cutting him down in a single decisive strike.
"You good?" Aiden asked
"Yeah, thanks" Aria responded who was out of breath
As Aiden was momentarily distracted, a figure sneaked behind him about to hit
"Watc—" Aria wanted to say before the figure was hit smalling into the wall
"What your surroundings Idiot" Kael Draven said harshly
"Thanks"
As Kael, Aria and Aiden fought hey slowly moved towards their friends who were finishing off their opponents
"How many causalities?" Aiden asked with a serious expression
Ymir face was in horror
"Twenty-five killed, ten injured"
Aiden bit his lips, twenty-five killed because he felt he was weak enough to stop them
As Aiden and the rest continued talking, two figures approached kicking both Aiden and Kael far away
The others became alert and asked
"Who are you?"
One of the figures spoke up
"You guys are at the pinnacle and because of that, fail to recognize those at the bottom" the figure said
Aiden staggering to his feet spoke up "I don't care, speak up"
The figure sighed before removing his mask "I am Kain" and my partner removing her mask "I am Suhi"
Kael stood up and stood beside Aiden
"You good" Aiden asked
"Yeah, can't wait to kill these bastards"
"Wait, we can stop them" Aiden said holding Kael the shoulder
Kael charged forward at incredible speed about to throw a kick to Kain but he held Kael leg mid air
"You forgot" Kain said with a smirk
As Kain said that, his body began to transform turning into a voided creature
His hollow eyes showed no emotion, yet the aura radiating from him was immense.
"Wow, I can't believe this is, the power is incredible" Kain shouted in a distorted voice
Aiden and the rest regrouping side by side watched as the female figure also took a form of her own
As they approached to start fighting, the figure laid down on the stage
"This feels too easy, wish there was some real threat" the figure said with a disbelief on his face
